I have a HTC Mozart TMO-DE 16GB.
When I try to update, the update starts and then it hangs at 10-12% and it gives me a "ERROR [226] FLASH WRITE"
I tried various ROMS and different pcs. Is my little Mozart Dead?
same problem for me

I'm currently trying to update my HERM100 (HTC 8525) and every time I run the update utility it stalls 11% for a number of minutes and then returns ERROR [262]: Update Error. I'm currently running SPL-2.10 as a bootloader. Any idea what might be causing this?
You have with Radio part of the device. Do you have GSM?
I think I might not, I don't get a no GSM error but when windows boots I don't have any phone functionality at all
failing at 11% is because you have a corrupted radio. try flashing a radio only rom
Hello all,
I have an T-Mobile MDA (Dutch) that hangs in the bootloader screen after doing a wrong flashprocedure.
I tried to exit the boot loader screen with mmty and UNI_ExitBootloader, but that didn't work, so something is seriously wrong with the current rom data.
I tried to read (and understand) every similar topic on this forum to get a solution. They all point to procedures where I need to copy and run the (h)spl's, but that's impossible because I cannot boot the device.
I also tried to flash a shipped T-Mobile (NL) rom into the device. Unfortunately, the flash procedure hangs at 0% for a while and shows an error message ("connection error")
Is there a way to get this thing alive again?
More info:
Bootloader screen says:
NIKI200
SPL-1.16.0000
CPLD-4
T-Mobile MDA Plus (256MB rom) Dutch version
Some more information...
I have now tried to flash RUU_Nike_HTC_NLD_2.09.404.1_Radio_NikeMR_1.65.28.25_signed_Ship now, and this one is NOT stuck at 0%, but displays the invalid vendor id error after 1%.
I think I need this "type" of rom update, but now for T-Mobile (Dutch), so I won't get a vendor id error. I currently have a CustomRUU with the Dutch T-mobile rom (which is stuck at 0% and reports an 'connection' error message)
I also tried to flash from sd card, but it doesnt start. Do I need to rename the nbh file, because the bootloader (before the rgb screen) says "no image file" ?
I don't know what did the trick. But I have run mtty and entered the commands "set 16 0" and "set 14 0".
Then I tried to flash the Dutch t-mobile rom again, leading to the same error and a flash screen stuck at 0%.
I rebooted my device then .. and there it was.. a T-Mobile boot screen and a device that boots without any problem
Thx Tutti-frutti you are king

Hey All,
I'm at my wits end here. I got a new phone through Sprint's phone replacement program a week or so ago and decided to flash it today, that's when my problem started.
I've searched Google, PPCGeeks, SmartphoneJunkie, and XDA-Devs and tried all the suggestions but still seem to have no luck getting around the 262 Error when I try to flash to HardSPL 0.37.
When I enter bootloader, I face the following screen:
Security Unlocked
RAPH800
SPL-0.40.0000
MicroP-Herman (LED) v0C85
MicroP-Herman (KEY) v0685
PSOC-Raph STAGE_EVT v20
USB
Initially I tried flashing after I plugged it in. Error 262. I realized I forgot to associate it through WMDC (through a clean install) so I did that and tried again. Error 262. I searched around and realized I didn't deselect "Enable Advanced Network Functionality". Changed it, tried again, Error 262. I tried it on my desktop (Win7 x64), my laptop (Win7RC x32), and my old desktop (WinVista x32) all with Error 262. Knowing it was a communications error, I disabled Windows Firewall and all AV products thinking maybe they blocked something. Still Error 262. I even re-downloaded the Hard SPL package. Big surprise, Error 262.
I read in my travels that the shown Security Unlocked banner is for Radio only, so I know I have to flash to SPL-0.37 before I try any other flashing.
Suggestions, Please??

it doesn't seem like you are doing the process 100% correct. unlocking your phone really doesn't have much to do with activesync, as that part is only needed to actually move the files to your device.
you are supposed to initiate the hardspl from the device itself with the .nbh file present on the sd card. your sd card may have something to do with it, it should be FAT32 formatted & probably no larger than 4gb.
feel free to get at me thru PM/IM/EMAIL watever & we'll figure it out man. GL
Hello,
I bought a used HTC HD2 device and would like to install android on nand.
I'm quite used to upgrade HTC devices using XDA guides... and did a lot of upgrades on a previously bought HD2 device without any problem.
Here are my questions and the errors I saw...
The bought HD2 seems to be unbranded. How to check it?
Upgrade to shipped ROM
I tried to upgrade the ROM by using the last available upgrade from HTC website, specifying my S/N. I downloaded the RUU_Leo_HTC_ITA_1.66.408.1_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07_Ship file... but I got upgrade error at 8-9% and then device never booted up more.
7 times vibrate error
I got succesfully upgraded it by saving LEOIMG.nbh on SD card (after a lot of try)... BUT after power up I had device stuck on HTC screen playing 7 times vibrate... who seems to be a faulty code.
I tried many reboots without any success... then I removed the battery, waited some minutes and then it succesfully booted up!
Read some forum about but didn't find the answer about the error "code".
HSPL installation
I had to install shipped 2.08 rom to install HSPL and successfully did it by downloading _HTC HD2_RUU_Leo_HTC_ITA_1.48.408.1_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship.
Then I successfully installed 2.08.HSPL
Radio upgrade
To install Android on NAND I need to have radio upgraded... so I tried to upgrade by using many radios from the XDA Radio Thread BUT I always have INVALID COMMAND ERROR 290 and upgrade process stuck at the end of radio upgrade process. Obviously device don't boot up saying me wrong process and at the boot stuck with an error screen.
Why do I have radio upgrade problems? Are they related to 7 times vibrate?
Never tried to get Goldcard... but I suppose if it's a wrong radio (for which I need to use goldcard) customruu process would give me an error, right?
