[TUT] How to change font - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

In this post i wanna tell u guys how to change ur fonts.. I get these font from app called custom android font switcher (free from market),but because if u wanna change ur font using this app,u must have a connection so i gonna tell u the easiest way, without connection..
REQUIREMENT:
1.ROOT
2.TERMINAL EMULATOR
CHANGING UR SYSTEM FONT MAY HARM UR DEVICE SO DO WITH UR OWN RISK.
here it goes:
1.download font.zip (attach) and extract it..move it content to ur root of ur
sdcard.
2.the zip content is fonts1 folder,fonts folder and fonts.sh..in fonts1 folder
contain hundreds of ttf/font file..copy any font u want(only one) and paste it
in fonts folder..but because it dont have a preview so u dont know how ur
font u choose look like..
3.open terminal emulator and type:
su
cd sdcard
sh fonts.sh
done,ur phone will reboot so dont panic.. ur older font backed up as
droidsans.ttf.bak on ur root of sdcard.
big thanx to BENTOTBOX for the CUSTOM ANDROID FONT SWITCHER.apk and
thanx to SUHEL for the script..
if this post make ur phone had a nice UI,u like it and u think this post usefull
to u,dont forget to press thanx button.

and here for the screenshot

font changer is better than custom android font switcher. Custom android font switcher not showing all fonts while font changer does, I have tried it. And it's more easier than this methode

[Q] Fonts

where can i get new fonts for my phone?
You can use any TTF font I believe. There is a thread on XDA (search for it) that has boatlaods of fonts. You can use Font Changer (market) to install them. I wouldn't flash them, just extract the .ttf from the zip and put it on your memory card and then use Font Changer to apply it. Don't let Font Changer restart the phone for you, it seems to hang on the TB.

[Q]How to install/flash custom fonts to ACE

As the title implies, how do i flash/install custom fonts into ACE??
just type in market 'fonts' and you'll see e.g. fontomizer app - basically you can install font as app (.apk). no need for root etc.
Just download any font from the already created onces, check this thread for fonts
Install the fonts and then go to settings---> display---> fonts and select the font u have installed and restart the phone.
your font will be there wen u restart.
I have tried many and most of them work pretty fine on ace.
The 'Font Changer (root)' app also works wonders. Store all your TTF fonts in a folder, and the app can set any of the font as a system font. Very useful.

Can someone please point me to some fonts

That work.with our phone.. i found that 300+ font thread but non of them work i tried to.use font changer and it didnt go.past boot.screen. thanl you in advance
sent from my sniper through your face evo3d
All i did was use the fonts from my PC. copy n pasted them into the font changer folder, viola, Whatever font i wanted.... try that see if it works. Worked for me!!!
You can use those fonts from that thread with font changer from the market. Not sure why it didn't work for you. Just download the zip of the font, extract the .tff files, and place in the folder located on your sd card named .fontchanger, then open up font changer. It will scan them then select apply. Once it askes to reboot just hit the selection to manually reboot so it you won't have to battery pull. Then reboot and you will be good.

you have to manual override if you want to use that font on your phone.....
using root explorer, navigate to system/fonts....replaced all Roboto fonts inside that folder with yours fonts choice....
remember to rename your fonts choice to Roboto (same as default) in order it to works....
make backup first incase there something wrong....

[GUIDE]How to change font on L9[stock rom]

Hi all, i do not see a similar topic so i opened this. On stock rom of p760( don't know if other variants have the same way) i tried to change font using iFont, with no results. Now i explain you how to change font without difficults guides.
1) Download from Play Store IFont https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont
2) Now open it and let it download all previews
3) now go in settings>display> and choose the default "roboto font" ( this is the key for success in changing font)
4) now choose a font from IFont and apply it( phone will reboot)
5) enjoy your new font!
Roboto must be selected all the time, otherwise ifont will stop applying yoir selected font.
YOUR PHONE MUST BE ROOTED!
Please give a thank if i helped you.
If someone has other methods just PM me, i will ad tips in OP.
