Just thought I would make it available for anyone who might wanted to use it for custom firmware cooking or app hacking for the X10's.

This is not the flashable version, only the system dump. So its not relevant for ports.

It CAN be ported. These files is for porting. So a dev just have to implement them in their port. In the next TripNarc these files will be used.
But you can't flash an Xperia arc firmware on to a Xperia X10, that's plain logic.

Yes that was to the ftf file for flashtool, which is for the arc.
I've never said it wasn't for ports. Only that the ftf isn't relavant for ports as its for flashtool to flash arc's

You can use the Search function by yourself and/or look for it in Xperia S section.
And no, it is not possible on our phones because kernels are placed on separate partition that is not accessible via phone's OS.

Its not the problem. I know you can use pc companion with rooted phone. I just want a ftf file as it won't update it. Keeps saying server error
Or se cannot update at this time.

Take this, it's around 210MB, although at download it may say it's smaller, just wait till it's done downloading
