I've searched a lot and didn't find anything about the way we can use the retail or arc sms app for our lovely x10.
I actually use GoSMS but the retail app is much more Cool and the stock version is really ugly..

Hi. Just wanna know if someone can confirm that any of the morph apps by Stericsson are able to work correctly on our (rooted, sure) phones. I´ve searched for info about it, but cannot find helpfull data related to the mini.

Hi guy/girls,
ive looked through as many threads as i could and downloaded a few roms and im rather stuck which to go for and hoping you peeps could help me decide?
basically what i want is:
Adobe flash support
camera + video cam
make phone calls and 3g networking
not to bothered about mediascape
So far i have downloaded MIUI_xperia_TripNRaVeR-CFMod.v7 and [rendeiro2005]Cyanogen6.1.3_v01.
the [rendeiro2005]Cyanogen6.1.3_v01 seems to be my fave im just not a great fan of the theme but i could always install one i like i asume? im a relative noob but still know my way around xrec and rooting. if im missing a rom that fits my needs does any one have any further recommendations?

Im using CM 6.1.3 V4.1,I really like it.I was using Free X10,but this one seems a little bit smoother. I also switch back to SE 2.1 to use the video cam in HD. Video illusion+Vingette works just fine as alternatives. Theres probably atleast 1,000posts about those apps on here.
Bluespark rom I'm using it right now and its bloody amazing its very quick no laggs!

I would say try a couple making xrec backups for each so you can play around and find the one that really suits you.

he said he wants one with camera and camcorder, and the froyo roms dont give hd recording. i would go with the high performance 2.1 rom, it's very fast and awesome!

I just downloaded the blue sparks rom im going to give this a try now, it seems promising and i quite like the look of it theme wise, thanks for the replies guy

I will give you my personal testimonial.
I am using this rom h t t p:/ / forum .xda-developers. com / showthread.php?t=941745 for last 10 days.. and I can asure you that so far it's the best 2.1 rom that I had tried till now. It's completely functional and too smooth.. beyond the amazing theme and still there is two flavors available Gingerbread Theme and Gingerbread plus Arc Theme Personally I prefer the second one. By the way I tried almost all roms available in this forum and for sure the best one is EW JET by erickwill.
i've just installed rendeiro's cyanogen+fx10b4 and while i'm loving the ROM, i'm also going to tweak the theme to my liking.
I'm also searching for that perfect one.. now using TripNArc, but it's not done yet

what? sd card mounts fine on both freex10 beta 4 and wolfbreaks cm.....
Maybe you just don't have proper drivers installed?

If you want the Arc UI then heres the one you need, otherwise a bit more digging should get you the stock x10 version. Just find a stock x10 ROM here and find the same files that are in this post.

Edit: oh yeah, depending on what ROM you're using some may not be compatible so you may have to go through a slightly more complicated way

Can someone modd the rom's messaging app/create a messaging app which is compatible to the rom such that there would be an option to mark and send or send to all.
Or maybe if there is already such an app than can anyone give me the link

The rom's messaging app cannot send messages to more than 15-20 people.
I've also tried using the stock 2.1 sony ericsson messaging app but it gives force closes when I try to start up the app.
The MiniCM7 ROM (with nAa kernel) is an AWESOME ROM but this is the only down side for me.

I use Go SMS Pro as a sms app and SwiftKey X to dicionary (the best).
I have tried using go sms pro also, but the problem is that its quite heavy and it starts lagging. Sometimes I dont even receive the messages. Anyways I'll give it a try again maybe it'll be different.
Btw did u delete the conversation.apk from the system/app/ folder or did u jus install the app directly without modifying the ROM messaging app
Probably your system is full with apps that they run into background or you are running a heavy task the time you get the sms.if you are using gosms you need always some ram as I have notice. Or you have to use stock sms with the cm lock in memory option..however when I get home I will upload the apk! Cheerrs.

I agree, it's a little heavy, even with killed processes. I suggest to use the advanced task killer pro with the aggressive settings
I did not chance anything and i have nAll rom + kernel. You can give it a try to handcent sms...

I find task killer unnecessary anyway everyone use his phone with his way

Actually, I seriously need this. The Philippines depends on group SMS and stock CM7/CM9 MMS.apk sucks on us. I regularly subscribing to unlimited SMS plan for academic reasons. So a modified CM7/9 MMS.apk is really appreciated. I hope someone will do it.
Also, by using the stock 2.1 MMS.apk, you should know what framework it depends on and you should copy it too. I hope you found it.

Pare install mo nalang yung Handcent SMS sa Market. masa amdali gamitin yan pang GM. then sa CyanogenMod settings i check mo nalang yung Lock Messaging App in home memory.
I have my mimmi X10 minipro(u20i) with 2.3.7 MiniCM7 2.2.0 of nAa.

Hi,
Have you tried PANSI SMS? I am currently using it replacing my stock messaging app. Unlike GO/Handcent it is more faster and lighter. Hope I've helped.

have tested this MiniCM7-SEMC_Kb.zip from googlecode source ... IT works except t9 from it and has a problem if you mark up a word but it works is there anyone who can fix it?
