No man did not help
I'm now on version 1.2.0 tripnmiui iris

Same problem here. And sometimes ringtone is very quiet even if it is maxed in settings. Thats the reason that i am on CM6 again.

Someone might have a solution It's really annoying

May I ask what ROM/Version of MIUI this is happening on?

TripNMIUI Iris 1.0.9 & 1.1.0

I use version TripNMiUI "Iris" 1.4.0 Froyo! - Smooth & Fast
But it also happened in previous versions of TripNMiUI

Try to edit or overwrite the build.prop file with that line:
ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=700
maybe that will work, not sure..
dont forget to reboot (;

[Q] [PROBLEM] Sound bug with CM6 or CM7

Hi,
I'm a new user of your forum but i follow this since 6 months and i love it ! I'm french so sorry for my bad english...
My problem : I have installed ROM 2.2 of Wolfbreak (very good job ! thanks a lot) CM6.1.3 V4.5 without any problems. But since V4.5.7, i have a problem : sound works fine but after reboots, sound bug ! The volume is very very small because sound is played in the earphone in the front, not in the HP behind the phone.
So after, to know if it's a beug of the rom, i installed the CM7 Gingerbread of jerpelea (very good work too !). First boot, no problem with sound but after few reboots, same problem... After a flash, it's working but after reboots, the bug appears.
To resolve the problem, i have to connect earphones on jack connector and disconnect them. After, sound is played on the earphone in the front.
Do you know this problem ? Do you think it's an HW problem of my phone ?
Thanks.
Hello, there are lot of bugs on custom roms.
When your phone is on 2.1 have you experienced your problems now?
If not your phone is ok...
Try using free x10 by zidzu.

[Q] Vibrate on CM6?

Hey guys I'm using Wolfbreak's 2.2 update 6.1 and the vibrate for calls/sms isn't working. I enabled vibrate to always and I'm even using an app called "vibrate mode by force" and still doesn't work. Any suggestions?
bump:
anyone?
It didn't work for me at onetime either, due another reason I wiped the phone, flashed the latest firmware with SEUS, and then CM6 006 + hotfix, and vibrate was back. Don't know if you find it worth trying.

[Q] no sound on back speaker after email notifications

Hi, I'm having a very annoying issue with default email client in Froyo. Whenever I receive a notification from it -be it a sound or vibrate only- the first time it plays on back speaker but after that all sounds (music, videos or any notification) are redirected to internal speaker (the one used to listen when in calls) and back speaker remains in silence.
The only way to fix it I've found is to make a call. After that sounds are played correctly again until another email arrives.
Anyone knows a way to permanently fix this issue?? I couldn't find any reference to this by searching forum or google and I don't want to have to use another email client, I've tried Touchdown but it's painfully slow.
PS: right now I'm using CM6 TripN 1.5, but this was also happening with WB5.5. I haven't tried any other GB or Froyo ROM.
Thanks in advance.
Just curious, why are you using earlier versions of roms?
The newest versions won't do that

It's the latest CM6 Froyo from Trip and I find it more stable than WB one. Also hate all those MIUI Iphone clone roms, and most CM7 have some annoying bugs. I use camera a lot so I prefer a rom whre the camera's fully working.
All old versions do that?? Like it's Google fault?
hello? anyone??
are you using Soundhound or Shazam??? if you do, that's your problem, uninstall them and reboot, your problem will be gone...

Changing songs with volume buttons??

Anyone knows how to enable changing song in WB-XPERIA TW v3.9.0? It was possible to change them on Wolfbreak's 2.2 rom in poweramp and winamp , while the screen was off. Is it possible to have that in 2.3.3?

WB 2.2 ROM was Cyanogen, the current one is stock,
so short answer is no, not possible.
Someone needs to port this feature for non-CM ROMs
and I bet it will not be very easy.
Damn. I guess i'll go back to 2.2 then.
Thx for info

If you still want to use the other ROM, eg GingerDX, you should try turning off the sound... It's located on Settings>Sound>Audible selection deselect this one Audible selection
I thought I fixed the problem but I havnt, I tried what you said and it didnt work. Thanks anz way
