Does anyone know what that file is?

I searched everywhere, both this site and on google, and not a single paged popped up with anything relevant.

SD Card says unavailable

I have looked through numerous threads and haven't seen this anywhere. After figuring out that you had to push the SD card in with some elongated device, it always says it's unavailable..... Am I missing something? It's only a 2GB card and is in all the way.

Can't read SD from phone?

My phone can acess and categorize the files from my SD card no problem. But no matter what file explorer app I cannot seem to pull up my sd card.
I am using CM7 if that changes anything.
EDIT: The file viewer shows me the SD card but what is says is my SD shows the contents on my internal card not my external one.
Your looking at the directory for the built in SD card. The external SD card is located in local/mnt/sdcard-ext.
