I want to update my X10a running 2.1 build 2.0.A.0.504 to 2.0.2.A.0.24, but I'm wondering if I need to do it in a special way because I've rooted and installed xRecovery and JIT, or can I just use Flashtool and re-root, and reinstall xRecovery, BusyBox, JIT, etc?
Thanks

Yes you will need to redo after updating.
1) Deleted CM 6.1.3 V4.4
2) Installed CM 6.1.3 V4.5.7
3) Stuck at SE Logo.
=>
1 ) Reflashed
2 ) Updated new baseband ie .58
3 ) Installed CM 6.1.3 V4.5.7
4 ) Stuck at SE logo.
5 ) Reboot Automatically
6 ) Stuck at SE logo
Any help guys ???
Did you make a full factory wipe, wipe the cache, wipe dalvik cache and battery starts ? If not, it might be the reason whats causing it.
yeah did that both the time
You need to first install CM 6.1.3 V4.5 and then the CM 6.1.3 V4.5.7 update.
You should make a backup before installing this new ROM.
I've just installed it this morning with no problems, it's running perfectly on my X10.
(pure Android is a waaaaay better than SE's ROM!!)
If you can't go ahead, I'd suggest you to flash back to stock ROM and then try to install Cyanogen again.
Yeah charging battery back and then will try installing stock ROM and then retry installing it.
BTW 4.4 was working abs. fine
idk whats the prob with 4.5.7
Update : Can't flash with seus. It says latest availabe software installed.
Hey guys i Tried all that you suggested but result is the same.
Although i did install data2sd when i installed 4.4
Does that affect anything.
I mean i formatted everything,deleted cache,wiped cache partition etc...
but still i am able to boot into 4.4 without any radio,sd card etc..
Is this bcoz of data2sd ??
Are you first installing CM6.1.3 v4.5 before CM6.1.3 v4.5.7 ?

yeah dude ..
I restored my 2.1 Bluesparks Rom THAT i backed up using xrec
Then in SEUS , i picked my phones as Xperia Arc
Then it showed that your phone has latest s/w but do you still want to reinstall software
I selected yes and it started flashing back to stock
Now will have to root it etc... and then i'll try to reinstall cm 6.1.3 v4.5.7

Good luck. I recommend you to backup the stock ROM once you have xRecovery, so next time if the installation process fails you don't have to use SEUS again.
Hi I have a x10mini pro which I have rooted and installed xrecovery for.
The problem came when I tried installing the "slade87_MiniCM6_v5.0_XRECOVERY" custom rom because for some reason it sticks on the startup:
(viewimage)
My baseband version is M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-534040415
I can root and install xrecovery fine. But The main part I dont understand is installing the Custom Rom.
Could anyone help me?
when installing the rom did you do a factory reset?
if you did then try installing a different rom maybe that will work?
if none of them work try using cwm (ClockWorkMod)
Yeh it worked with a factory reset Thanks guys.
Btw can this phone download the latest flash player?
hi,
I am currently using miniCM7pro V16. I want to install the updated version miniCM7 pro V21. Do i need to Flash it? wipe it? I dont want to loose my apps and settings please tell me the easiest way to update. I am not an expert just a newbie so any help i will appreciate thank u.
no. u r updating from same rom. so u dont have to wipe anything. u can just store it in ur sd card as update. and boot cmw nd chose update. clear dalvik nd reboot. but i suggest u make factory reset. cos it will work fast!
i have same problem, but somehow, CWM does not allow me to update... It says "Amend scripting is not supported." Some help?
Update your CWM using CWM Installer and then try to update the ROM again.

Hi,
guys i have been reading a lot so that i could try to get a clear answers but i am still a bit confused.
I have successfully rooted my X10 min pro having stock rom 2.1 update 1 and also i have used the flash tool to install xrecovery. I am trying to install the Mini CM7 Pro v 21 and i read that i need CWM4 for it. So i wanted to know does that mean i can't install with Xrec?
Also if i have to install CWM how do i do that since i must clearly say that there is too much information that i have gone through and really it is not making too much sense.
so can anyone please give me a clearer idea on installing the CM7 on my X10 min pro.
Thank You

1-U have to find and download (latest CWM.zip)
2-Move the xxx.zip to sdcard (root directory) (don put in any folder)
3-boot into xrecovery
4-sellect install from sdcard
5-choose your xxx.zip (on step 1)
or u can try this
1-find any custom room which one can install using xrecovey BUT!!
the custom room must be dual recovery preinstall (Xrecovery and CWM)
2-Now u already hace CWM recovery now you can install what ever rom U liked
To install MiniCM7 Pro v 21, you must have the CWM and not required cwm 4.
to install cwm, see here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257701
sorry for my bad English
Don,t forget to press thanks if i can help you.

Thanks but i have already installed xrecovery through the flash tool,so you are telling me i have to install CWM to install v21? I am asking because nelikp didn't talk anything abt CWM.
I want to know since i have installed xrecovery can i still use this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257701
to install CWM?
Will i do any harm if i install CWM as given in the above thread?
EDIT: I hope there is no problem installing CM7 v21 in X10 mini pro
You can install CWM with teh CWM Installer (from the Thread you posted above).
Then you can boot into CWM and install MiniCM7 pro V21. Read and follow the instructions in first post of the MiniCM7 pro thread and you will be happy about the fantastic ROM.
Hi Adi,
I've installed MiniCM7 Pro v21 with XRecovery for my X10 MP and it's works just fine. I haven't found any problem until now.
And delete these apps before install the rom if you don't need it
DSP Manager
Gmail
Google Maps
Latitude
FOTA KILL (GOOGLE OVER THE AIR UPDATES)
Pico TTS (text to speech program/interface)
Voice Dial
Voice Search
Fotakill -prevents- over the air updates. I'd keep it unless you want an incompatible update killing your system ;-)

Thanks for the confirmation but i was confident enough and installed CWM 3 r5 and it is working on my mini pro, i just need some time to install the OS. i didn't know that CM7 had gmail in it. I though we need to flash teh gapps after installing CM. i usually don't use too much apps, any way can anybody please point me on how to save app2SD guide since i have gone through many and they are making a little bit sense but still not clear. Also there is a option of partition in CWM itself can i use it?
Edit Wanted to know can i use my stock kernel to install a custom ROM,since i looked at Zombiepack kernel and it rquires unlocking bootloader which seriously i am not confident doing since i am not able to understand clearly
