I set the time and one day after, it has unconfigured because it come one around 1.5 seconds
So in a few weeks the time is two minutes in advance
I can install ClockSync and sync all days but is a pain and also consumes the battery and storage
Any solution?

No, no miraculous solution has emerged from the time you have posted your OT questions on the franco ROM thread. ClockSync consumes power by running for 5-10 seconds every 6 hours at most, so... are you serious?
Maybe other people that were not at that moment on franco post, know another way to fix it
It is not normal that clock
so I ask it now maybe someone know how to solve
I hope the clock which you compare is not slow.

You cannot fix your hardware clock on your phone, exactly as you cannot fix the same on your motherboard in your PC. This is why things like NTP, NITZ etc. have been invented.
Well so I will have to use the app and sync every days...
thanks for the info, I had not got idea, so is better to ask experts. If you tell me I cant fix that hardware problem I belive it but, I am a bit angry because somehow I have a defective phone

On an normal PC the clock skew is about the same or even worse - unless you use NTP. Seriously, you just have unrealistic expectations when it comes to the HW clock precision of these consumer devices.
Sorry I dont understand that "acronyms" but I am really sure that the clock is not precise and is wrong. Is not normal that in a few hours the time has came one 1.5 seconds
Well, you will never be late for anything then?

Well, as said, it is perfectly normal for this class of devices. Your phone is not a Swiss watch.
Solutions have already been mentioned - either switch to a service provider that supports NITZ on their network, or use ClockSync or similar utility to sync the clock via NTP.
With this, whole thing can be pretty much concluded.
Ok dude, thanks for help everything solved, so I will use clocksync
That of NITZ, I supose that is the option which says "use values provided by the network"
sorry for inconvenience

There's not a lot more i can say really mate. The message is as i have said really. White screen, message along the top and then some rubbish about sending to Microsoft, send or don't send. That's it!
I've had this before, from what I gathered on the net it is something to do with the drawing of the graphics on the screen. The advice I found was to simply turn off Windows Error Reporting so that you can ignore it. Its all I did and it worked for me
And if the graphics on the screen look alright to you, then there is no problem anyway!

That's one solution, yes. However, that it only 'masking' the issue. It'll still remain in the system won't it. All you're doing is like... well, ignoring the fact there is a fault which solves nothing!
Yes, but it's such a minor fault. And after a couple of days of not seeing that annoying message you'll find that you start sleeping well again.
The only other way to get rid of it is to remove recently added programs to see which one caused it, it will only be a minor incompatibility issue.

If it's done this from day one then is does sound like a corrupt ROM. You'll need to either ask for another TG01 under warranty or wait till xda release a ROM.

Results - Orange diagnostics test shows handset as FAULTY based on power test. Replacement arriving tomorrow.
Someone on Orange... do me and yourself a favour... ring 150, option 1, option 3 and tell them from time to time your phone is rebooting every now and then (even if it is not doing this) and could they run a test. I wanna know if they are ALL bugged in some way or another.
The good thing is, if you have any probs with your phone in the future, you can quote them that is was diagnosed as faulty so you have comeback so it's a win-win situation
If you decide to do this and they DO find a fault, great, no problem but if you've personalized your phone, be polite and tell them 'well, i think i'll stick with it another week but you have it on record now anyway eh' and they'll be fine with it.
Honesty eh... damn, what a concept!
Yep, check out my post about GPS problem. Orange said that was a fault and a replacement was sent next day, guess what, I still have the same fault on this one. Hope you have better luck!

Yes, I have searched the forum but only found old posts, nothing pertaining to ICS about this.
I've had this problem since 2.3, and it's kinda annoying.
When I press the unlock button it takes around 2sec for the phone to wake-up.
I thought this was supposed to be fixed in the verisons after 2.3, and now I have 4.0.3 and it's still present.
Anyone else have this problem?
Is it a Google or Samsung problem. Can it be remedied?

I have same problem with any stock or custom rom and is verry annoying.
It's normal. I use CM 9 and I'll hit the home button on my sleeping phone now...and it took around 1 second to wake up.
There isn't anything you can do about it.
As Riz said last month, would you rather your phone deep sleep & conserve battery when you're not using it & take a second to wake up or would you rather have a permanent wakelock & resultant battery drain in order to have it wake up in a few tenths of a second ?
I mean, we are talking about a second here. Not half a minute or something.
Yay! You got a new sig!
It always makes me wonder what people expect with these threads....it's like when you wake a pc up - it isn't instantaneous...and is a second really too long to wait?
Yeah I couldn't resist ;-)
Yep you're right. People do expect too much sometimes, as you said, how long does a PC take to wake up from hibernation ? Phone takes no time in comparison.

Hi, I tried it and I don't get waves. And I know from PC days I am quite capable of seeing flicker. I think what you are seeing looks like a video sync problem. What have you got installed? Maybe you need to check your graphics settings or perhaps Power Saving that may have altered the settings?

I may be using wrong terms. In the old CRT screens it was called sync - that's what your video reminded me of.
Have you tried JJ's suggestion of Factory Reset?
Also do you have anything installed other than how the phone came? If so, list the changes you made - you will probably get more responses if people don't have to ask 'did you do/have this?' and have you say, 'no I didn't' or 'already done that' - tell us what your phone has, what you have done, what conditions etc.
e.g. CF-Root, Omega JB Rom, All Power saving options on - anything you can think of including the ROM/Kernel versions

The issues definitely look lie Vsync issues, though with the quality of the video you posted it's hard to tell. If you phone is now on a true stock rom with no root or anything, then it's likely a hardware fault. Take it back to where you purchased for a warranty repair, there's nothing else that will help you here I'm afraid.
Hello matrix users i have big problem whit my phone. When i use it for a while its getting really freaking hot in the area of the buttons and the speaker its not the battery also the battery life is ok. so i think it's something hidden beneath the buttons... any ideas what my cause this? btw this begin after radio update i used some chinish radio but after few days i back the stock radio. i tested few other radios and roms but no changes.. my phone still get hot..
Please help meeeeeee
It's most probably soc or modem. Under the buttons there is not much that could heat up. Did you recently change your location? Try setting modem to 2g only.

Just a thought, but the point at which is starts heating up might help indicate what the problem is, that and logs (logcat and dmesg).
I know that mine has a major issue with draining/heating (hot enough to smell it) while using the GPS navigation, even with the official, unmodified Motorola GB ROM (haven't had the change to try it in ICS), and the only way around that I found was to download (cache) the maps. In your case, however, it's possible you may have damaged the modem. Just for kicks, I would try booting into recovery and let it idle for a few minutes to see if it gets hot. Another option is to select the boot option that bypasses the modem and see if that gets hot as well. Without logs, it's impossible to guess beyond what Krystian already told you as sometimes it's hard enough to figure it out even with logs.
AFAIK, GPS is a big energy spender and a big device heater for all devices out there. This is due to technical limitations of the GPS system and is not really avoidable.

As the title says: Is there a way to force games into a 18:5 ratio? Most games don't work properly yet and have visual issues or are simply unplayable. I added 2 less extreme example.
PS: I'm talking about something like Samsungs app scaling settings. This phone is missing this option which is one of the biggest problems right now. Apps are obviously not always optimized for 21:9 yet so this is a neccesity. I hope Sony reacts to it as fast as possible.
Got a typo in the title. Can some moderator change this? That's a thing xda-developers needs to improve.
