i bought her in 09 wen it came out
shes been a GREAT fone
hmm i lost the USB cable
so i used my nokia one CA 101
FEW days later it stopped working
and a week ago i rooted my fone to load HONEYCOMB THEME and screwed the fone
now it gets stuck at sony logo
i thot of reloading os via sd card but no luck :'(
NOW IM THINKING OF replacing the USB PORT ON fone
and connecting it pc companion and update search
im seriously need of help
i hate using my iphone 3g

I was notified that V20c is avalible for my phone. I connected to PC and started the update using LGMDP.. It downloaded 117 mb and then said that error in communicating with the device.. It asked me to reconnect the cable and i did it.. after that my phone turned off and now it's not turning on.. The same happened to many people before.. Is this a fault with the update software or our phones ???
This is a really disgusting problem... Now, I'll never buy LG smartphones.. I'll prefer symbian^3 phones instead.. and if there are some precautions before using LGMDP please tell me ???
give it to lg service centre.. they'll fix it and return it to u for free i believe..

I gave it to them and they asked me to wait for 5 days and tell me where can i sell this phone for 8000 ??

I use BlackBird 2.3.4 ROM. Before two days(i believe its not cuz of the ROM,i have it from like week) the USB stopped working. When i conect the cable it shows USB icon in statusbar,and its says USB Conected-click to copy files from/to pc. But when i click nothing happens-the USB dialog opens for like a sec and exit by itself. I've tried with disabling USB debugging,but it didnt help. "Mass storage only" option not working too.
I had faced a similar problem. The thing is bloody LG makes pathetic hardware. It is definitely hardware fault.
Maybe you can try to flash another ROM or kernel and see if it works out... Maybe try to connect it to some other PC... if nothing works, then LG service center is the only option.
Mine started working again automatically after a few days. But the data transfer rate has become so slow that I hate it. Cannot go to the service center because I am on CyanogenMod 7.
I am going to shift to a better phone in a few months. Maybe Galaxy Nexus in 8 to 10 months if it comes down to around $500 unlocked...

Gauhar is right, LG is a pathetic phone maker. Try to flash your O1 back to V20C (LG 2.3.3 Gingerbread for Optimus One). LG's service centres will either charge you a premium, or refuse from repairing the phone, cause they can deal only with LG's ROMs.
Like GauharJK, wait for a few days or try other PCs. Even if that is useless, throw your phone into a gutter and get something better like Samsung or Sony Ericsson.
Yup ,LG sucks hardware wise ...
And I too faced same problem :: Phone not at all Connecting to PC , tried everything .
The culprit for You me and Everyone is PCB of this phone..
Which these LG Service guys take weeks to replace !

Yesterday I got my new full case for my Xperia X10i. I changed it myself viewing a tutorial on YouTube. I don't know why, but my phone was stuck in the familiar SE logo boot loop. I read all the possible answers here, tried them all. I went to a software service, they said it's not a software problem. I went to hardware service, they said the hardware is working fine, everything is fine.
I was using Gingerbread version 2.3.3 version on my phone, never changed, never bricked, never nothing "wrong" done to the phone. Now, I've followed every instruction here, tried with PC Companion, SEUS, FlashTool; everything with no luck...
I'm asking you, because I'm amateur, noob, and I don't want to lose my Xperia. What am I supposed to do? What to try?
Oh yes, and when using Flashtool I'm getting the UNROOTABLE tip on one line...
Any ideas, tips or tricks to repair my phone?

Edit: The hardware service that said the phone's hardware was fine, said that the last hope for my phone is to do something under the sticker (the sticker under the battery) that needs wired connecting to something... I didn't understand him...
My phone now is without the SE Logo, with just lights on...

charge the battery on desktop charger for 2 or 3 hours
open pc companion
chose support zone
then click fix my phone
follow the instructions
be happy

I tried with PC Companion, no luck... The battery cannot be charged on the phone so I charged on wall charger... no luck!
It was the display that was the problem with the phone. I got it replaced and now it's working!

Hey can anyone help, I bought a Htc hd2!! But it keeps shutting off and restarting , there is no pattern to this problem, it could do it before I put my sim pin in, or it could do it mid phone call or even after an hours use.... I can't figure it out.... I use a micro sad card in it, as I need to run the programme for work, it's running windows software....

try to hard reset it...
Try with another battery. Mine was resetting itself randomly till I installed a new battery.
Maybe the battery will disconnect for some reason.

same as mine,and i was still wondering that might be it is because hardware problem on our HTC HD2 because of aging and too much flashing the ROM,we have to admit that our beloved HD2 has been tired of working so hard with all of this tempting ROM,Android and WP7 development,nothing can compare our HTC HD2

i have a Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet SGP521 with cyanogenmod 12. It worked quite good until yesterday. i applied a new cyanogenmod update, just as i did many times before. Battery was 100% and it was standing in my Dockingstation.
Now i cant switch the phone on. Nor can i enter the Downloadmode neither the Recovery Mode. When i plug it into a PC it doesnt get recognized. no LED is on. Also Odin doesnt recognize it.
Any ideas? Maybe the battery is broken? Thanks!

A customer of us had this problem whilst upgrading the original SONY Android. After the upgrade the Tablet was absolutely dead and not recognized by the Computer anymore. It was running flawlessly all the time UNTIL the upgrade and its reboot
We sent it to the German SONY repair partner and they had no spare parts for the Z2 Tablet. Something was broken inside.
So our customer got a new Z4 Tablet instead!

it works again now. i disassembled the tablet, and depluged the battery. after i plugged it in again it works. sadly i broke the glas when i tried to open it :crying:
