When I restart my phone, either using the power button or a battery pull, my phone will always restart with 31% battery remaining. It just did it with a fully charged battery that was plugged in for 9 hours. Now I have to charge it all over again.
Can you guys restart your phone and see if it happens to you?
If not I'll try a factory reset and if that doesn't help I'll have to swap for a new phone.
Thanks
Factory restore seems to have fixed this.
When the pad is in APX mode and the only way to revive it is a complete battery drain - what is the fastest way to drain it? Are there any suggestions besides duct taping the power switch? Does removing and reinserting the battery have the same effect? Thank you very much!

Fully draining the battery is very bad with our type of battery, after about 2 days i would guess it's well and truly dead, your only solution is to get a new one.
fully draining the battery is only recommended when you try battery calibration. other than that do not fully drain you batt.

I normally keep my Note II plugged in while I am at work so that it is fully charged wherever I go. Is this a bad thing to do? Can it hurt the phone in anyway? Can it alter the ability of the battery to hold a charge or adversely affect the battery in anyway?
Any help and/or advice will be greatly appreciated! Have a blessed day!
It would only affect the battery. It's best to unplug shortly after it reaches 100% and let it start to discharge. The phone will stop charging after it reaches 100% and discharge down to 90 or 95% before restarting the charge, but it is not good to keep Li-Ion batteries close to 100% capacity like that constantly. It shouldn't cause any other issues though, so if your battery starts to go bad, you can just buy a new one.
