yours for a tenner - works great with my BA.
if u want my opinion -go for the Brodit vent mount with pro clip. if u cant get a proclip to fit ur mount (unlikely but remotely possible) then go for the smartclip. Brodit are prob No 1 in mounts

The cradle itself is fine. Unforunately vent mounts come in two variaties - crap & really crap. These are of the really crap variety. The screen mount is also pretty poor.
Hi Guys,
If I can help, visit my website www.dsldevlopments.co.uk I specialise in Brodit cradles and proclips, please PM or email me if you need any advise
Sounds to me you need a proclip, you can search my site for the right one for your car, just goto the proclip page if you need help, drop me a line.
Thanks again

Hello all,
I'm looking for somthing but I don't know if it exists. I want a holder for my Herald in my car. The holder should have a charger, a gps and a handsfree option.
Why?
Because I want to get in my car, put my Herald in the standard and drive. When I drive I want the Herald to be charged, be able to make handsfree phonecalls AND have the option to use TomTom 6 (which is installed om my Herald)
Does anyone know if something like that exists? I could find it.
Noone? DOes it exist or is there no interest?
Google????
e.g.

http://www.brodit-proclip.net/brodit/htc-tornadotempo-prophet-wizard-herald-autohalterung-kfz.htm
Could you read my first post please? I'm not looking for 'just a handsfree set'. I'm looking for a handsfree set that has GPS integrated.
Thanks.

this was only a hint.
and please keep up respect!!!!
I meant no more disprespect then your 'Google??' remark. What made you think I didn't use Google before I posted here?
I simply asked this question because:
1. Perhaps other people have been searching like me and found something (or nothing)
2. Manufacturers might look at this forum and find it a good idea to make something like this.
With upmost respect,
Richard.
sorry. but after 1000post. i read a lot here.
and yes often people forget to use goole.
i just wanted to help. .... but i guess with this well coosen words you will have a long carreer in xda-dev forum - haha
keep head up. just kidding
Kein problem, schon gut
I would suggest a Brodit active holder, combined with a Parrot CK3300. The active holder will charge the phone for you. You can then either get a connected GPS adapter and connect that to the active holder and buy a separate Bluetooth carkit, or you can buy a Bluetooth carkit with GPS built-in such as the CK3300.
Personnly, I'm using a passive holder combined with the CK3300. It has everything you need (carkit + GPS) except for the charging. I have a separate charging cable for long trips.
Thanks! That's what I'm looking for!

Haven't you already posted about the same topic in your own thread of "junk accessories" ?!?

Are you going to create a thread now whenever you think of something you want to get answers for ?!?

Your an internet stalker arnt you. Do you follow people around for a living? did I say something that offended you? are you that ugly you ain't getting any and want to harass people where you think you can? you were bullied as a kid and prob bullied as an adult.
this place is called a forum if you haven't noticed. and a forum allows people to ask question and interact with people. as appose to your stalking and harassment.
my topic specifically states headrest mount. I'm looking for a specific answer and or opinion from people who actually has or used one.
the other topic was a general gathering of accessories
you have a problem dude. my suggestion to you is to get a life or go in a dark room and beat your chicken since its obvious you haven't been getting any.
Have you tried looking on the RAM Mounts website? They have every mount you ever wanted. And if you cant find what you're looking for I think you can create your own with their parts list.
I posted this in the accessories section, but I saw that this is the forum for the tips and tricks, so I am reposting it here, I do not meant to offend, simply to educate.
If your like me, and you can't afford any of the little gizmos that let you plug a USB into your Prime, or you don't want to root it or do anything complicated like that, you just want to play Shadowgun THD with a gosh darn controller...well if thats you, then I got some good news for you.
Do you have a Best Buy near you? If so go in, bring your pad, bring your SONY MADE PS3 controller (I hear it needs to be the actual one from Sony, can't be a Madcatz or any third party brand), and the USB cable, ask where the dock is, or find it yourself, hook up your pad, and plug it all in.
You just need to turn on your Primes Bluetooth, and plug it in the dock, then plug in the USB and hold the PS button, and BOOM, your good to go. I literally just did this.
If you don't have a Best Buy near you, try Staples, Office Depot, Radioshack, Target, Walmart, find a place that has the dock on display. Chances are they dont care. If they do, ask for the manager, or just go to a different store.
I hope this helped out all my fellow Tablet Gamers, have a great day! :highfive:

OR...
You can use Sixaxis Controller on Playstore for 2 bucks. It has a free app to test compatibility before you shell out the 2 bucks.
But that costs money. My method is free (minus gas cost) and hooks up your controller and tablet via Bluetooth without having to root or change Mac address, or download and pay for an app. :highfive: :good:
why did you make two post with same topic?

Hmm, given that I root my devices by default, it totally passed my mind that you need root for that app to work. But I suppose people willing to hook up a PS3 controller will be the kind who root anyway. I know it is $2, but that is a cheaper than the abysmal liquid that passes for coffee at Coffeebucks. Plus, you can do the same with your phones and other Android devices once you buy the app... No multiple trips to Bestbuy. Anyway, it is a good option for those with a dock, I must say! Nice hack you found there!

Thank you very much. I look forward to contributing more to this site. :good:
I think it'd cost the majority of people more in fuel costs then the 2 for the app.

Still cheaper than the $125 keyboard dock, or the other $35 USB attachment. Either way you look at it's you need a USB cable to connect the controller. This way you don't need to do anything to your tablet other than remove the rubber stoppers on either side of the charger plug in.
geez people. OP, thank you very much for your post on an alternate method that may be viable to some people. Your contribution is appreciated.
....was that so hard?
Well, it helped me!

Yeah, sheesh. I have the dock, and PS3 controllers. I've been using them hooked up via USB cable. Now that I've seen this, I'll use it by bluetooth. Thanks!
