I'm on cm7 last nightly (15), which is the best kernel for overclocking (1.3 ghz)? which are the alternatives?

Look into TW's "destroyer of worlds" kernels found in their forums. They are oc'd to 1.2, 1.3, & 1.4. I loved it, but it was too much of a battery drain since they are based off the i9000 kernel (like all oc kernels right now).

I use Simply Galaxy 2.3.3 with the oc1.2 kernel. At 1ghz I get a quadrant score of around 1660 and oc at 1.2 I get a score around 2130. Its a great rom give it a shot.

OCing depends primarily on the Kernel not the rom, the rom just helps with making the phone smoother and more efficent when OCing. Anyway, if you're running a 2.2 or 2.2.1 rom here's the only kernel I know off that can get you over 1.4.

I'd recommend you do some reasearch on flashing..
YOu need CWM to flash kernels/modems/roms

I don't know if you guys remember Team Whiskey overclocked the GPU in their 2.1 kernel "Manhattan Project" could this be done again?
I'm not talking about the FPS cap.

Dragon has it, but wasn't Manhattan Project cancelled because it made the phone really unstable?

it cant OC so no, you could use it to underclock but thats just pointless
the max clock of it is 1GHz
you can use setcpu with the bali 1.2GHz to OC it to 1.2
In my experience with Bali if you setCPU lower than 800 you get constant sleep of death. I dont know if anyone else has that problem i switched to overstock though and it worked fine

I have been Baked for a couple weeks now with stock kernel. Very smooth and fast. Came from AOKP6 with devil kernel. Any big advantages to flashing devil kernel. If so which one suggested? Also will it install app to control settings and do you recommend using it or another app? Thanks
I've been running devil kernel 1.9.5 with baked v6. Seems to run pretty smooth.
