AT&T Original Bootanimation - HTC Aria Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Well I've been looking all up and down google for this, if anyone has a copy of the original AT&T boot animation handy, I would appreciate it. I found 'A' version of it, but its not the same. I had to re size the images to get it to run smoother, and its still not that great.
EDIT: Here is the current animation I am using. It includes an HTC animation I made, and loops the AT&T 'rethink possible' animation (twice on my phone but will vary depend on your boot time). I've managed to get it pretty smooth for our phones.

EDIT2: Got the real one, no sound though. RUU'd back to 2.1 to get it. Had to modify the Desc.txt to work with CM7. Removed the single HTC splash screen that flashed before. Still not as smooth as I like. Rename to bootanimation.zip and place in your /data/local/ folder.

Really? Nobody has a rooted 2.1 that they can pull the bootanimation.zip off of?

Added the current AT&T bootanimation.zip to the OP that I am using.

Got the original bootanimation from 2.1. Added to OP.

[Q] Bootanimation help

I made an attempt to create my own bootanimation, I don't do graphical work period so it came out as I expected except that at the end of the animation I have an unwanted frame repeat itself which clearly looks out of place and I don't know how to fix it as simple as it seems...could someone tell me how to fix it? this way when I create some more for myself I will know what to do to not have it happen again. Thank you.
I've included a video using Bootanimation previewer to show what I mean. And I've attached the bootanimation.zip for you to look over. Thanks again.

I had this prob. When I set my f.p.s to high for the animation. Try lowering it and see what happens.didn't see the. Zip attached. So I couldn't look @the desc. File.

It was a naming issue.
I took the liberty of renaming all the files to a triple digit number (000, 001, etc) using a BULK RENAMING UTILITY found here: http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Download.php
That fixed the problem.
I also decided to make a bootscreen version (with sound)
Just my $0.02

That's great thank you I'll be sure to remember this for the next time.
I'm new at this whole root and flashing stuff. Is this a file that you flash just like a rom? Which file do I use?

[Bootanimation] ATRIX dual core

I made this bootanimation to go along with Nottach's Red Gloss Theme, but figured not everyone looks in that thread so I will share it here.
this is just a simple 3 part bootanimation that all run seamless
Part1 displays Atrix one letter at a time
part2 adds dual core fading in
this runs four times
part 3 holds the full image until boot

Thanks to Killster for hosting the images
This is a bootanimation file that needs to be placed in the system/media folder
and should appear as such
system/media/bootanimation.zip
Looking good. This is my new bootup. Good job.
EDIT : Worked great. Running on GladiAtrix2 v4.2.3
And just to cover you ass from potential hostile users if if happens to whork up their phone, put a simple disclaimer up. I can almost guarantee it will screw up someone's phone and you'll get the blame for their incompentence.
Oh and when you post a thread, drop a couple more replies after it to reserve it if you need to add more so your first post doesn't end up being a novel.
Just passing on stuff I've learned in the past couple of weeks.

[Q] How to change kernel boot screen?

Just wondering how one would go by changing their custom kernels boot screen if it's even possible. I know you can change your phones boot/shutdown screen which I have done. However, I can't find anything about changing a kernels boot screen (ex. OverStock, Bali, etc.)...

The answer is this. The animation screen on the kernel that is the Original is embedded and cannot be changed. You can put one in front of it Like overstock, or Bullet...etc, but then, you will see the "S" if the rom is I9000 based after, not sure if that answers the question but that is basically, how it works. So you would have to find the screen that is installed before the original script and replace with another, but alot of those scripts are compiled into their rom so it would be pretty hard to do, unless you wrote the original script. Not many are going to share their secrets with the public. Otherwise, everyone and their brother would overwrite those scripts and claim the work as their own........ Like akaskriller does, steals other work and then claims it as his own. Hope that helps

[Boot Animation]Legend of Zelda

These are some boot animations that I originally made for the MT4G, but ported them over to the Amaze. I actually never released the Door of Time animation I made, but here it is. I give it to you guys instead. Keep in mind that I am not a great photoshopper, so it doesn't look like the most amazing thing in the world...just a simple animation.
Here is a video of the Door of Android that I never released. (kind of blurry cause my non-amaze camera sucks, and I don't have an SD card for my MT4G)
Here is a video of the intro to Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (with sound) that I made. (Again, same crappy camera)
If you'd like to download them, you can get them here:
1. Door of Android
2a. LOTZ: LTTP
2b. LOTZ: LTTP sound
If you use the Energy ROM like I do, put the bootanimation.zip (and the .mp3 if using the 2nd one) in /system/customize/resource and that'll do it for you. If you don't use Energy, you may have to poke around your ROM until you find where they keep their bootanimation.zip, and then replace it with one of these two. Hope someone can find some use for these.

Help with changing the boot animation

Hi,
I've recently been playing with the boot animations, and have successfully created my own bootanimation.zip which I placed inside /system/media. Before my boot animation plays however, I get a white screen similar to the one shown below (slightly different, and also an image, not an animation).

This isn't in my bootanimation.zip, and I have no idea how to delete/ change it. Anyone got any ideas?

The other screen is called the splash screen. I really miss splash screen modding, it used to be my favorite thing to make back in the original Android days. Most people don't bother changing it because you only see it for a short second or two. I'm pretty sure you can use fastboot to swap them though. I just had to do one on a moto e 2015.
