I have ported gala s to htc legend so why not try this
There're a lot of graphic files and 9.png ones also. I can resize all the images but the 9.png make me confused. I downloaded the rom and may try it sometimes. I love this UI too.
U can not batch resize .9 pngs. U have to decompile, resize, manually edit and recompile them back one by one.
Sent from my HTC Legend
I found a jar file that writes 9.pngs info into rezised pictures
So if we batch rezise all the images then we should be able to write the info in the 9.png again
We can actually in theory batch resize
I don't say it's impossible but how do you know which pixels are resizable after you resize the whole png?
Care to share the link to that tool.

I like the colour icons in the notification bar, and the nice clear font, but a lot of the settings screens look way to much like iOS for me...
I'd love to see this miui stuff ported to the legend ;-)
Maybe we could split the work between a few people to recompile the .9 pngs and so on ?
Would love to see this, any progress ?
Indeed, it does look pretty sweet.
please anyone try to port to legend....if that it will be sweet
i think no one is caring about this thread.
I found this thread on XDA, it is an how to
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1161371
Please check the link in the first post 'cause the how to is "legacy" if used on latest ROM.

But I am not really familiar with scripts and stuff like that. So can anyone enlighten me here?

Hey you guys, Whats up? Hi5 *fist bump*
Okay so, i want to make my own theme, the theme world have not seen yet...lol
But im still learning, got all tools ready, changing icons and some button colors...
I just need you guys to tell me which files should i modify, like where all the icons, buttons and the Rosie bar located at?
I know alot of them in com.htc.resources.apk, framework-res.apk Rosie.apk and Where else?
Im using Evo 3D sense 3.0 so i think locations might be little different than other android phones.
Oh, and another thing, What kind of ROM should i start making theme from?
Stock one, maybe Eternity or something else
Thanks you guys for helping out.
Hi & 1st off if this is stupid please dont take the piss to badly lol...
years ago i was well into the whole Windows thing, Stripping its resources & making batch files that would find & replace icons that were of a better quality.. They would then be injected into the resource files of the OS so when it was installed it looked nicer...
Now to my idea...
Ive seen lots of nice Themes out there for my phone but dont seem to like any of the theme managers & how they change the feel of the phone & was wondering if its possible to strip the icons (.png ) from these & create an APK that just over writes them directly to the phones installed files..
An example would be the awesome Blue Theme for one of the custom roms you can get.... just having the png files on there own installed without the theme itself..?
Sorry if this is stupid as im only thinking from a windows point of view & dont no really if its possible or even an idea for android..
