[Q] Can anyone mod this cab? - Windows Mobile Apps and Games

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is able to mod this cab slightly. After it's installed it creates a folder in application data that has a spelling error. It's missing the letter 'n' in the application name. I realize this must sound an unusual request. It's just that I'm slightly OCD and love to have my device running lean and clean I'm sure there's some other readers who could sympathize with me slightly. Anyway I'm gonna upload it and see what happens. Oh and btw I haven't replied to over 10 posts, so I'm not allowed to start a thread in the other forums which is why I started it here. Hope that's ok. Also I've been running a few emulators for windows phone 7 on my windows mobile 6.5 device because at first I was dazzled by the tiles. The magical, magical live tiles. But now I really don't know why I wanted it. It takes up screen space. End of story. So ima stick with my 6.5. So please, please developers for 6.5 keep up the good work, I've pretty much got all the best software and customised the crap out of my device. Cheers.

Sorry mate seems I jumped the gun a bit. Installed your modded app. After checking app data folder on device still has the same error. Posted screen shot hope it helps if you feel like trying a version 2 please?

The error is in the setup.xml. Gonna try and learn how to re pack a cab file and if so problem will be solved. See how I go.

It didn't give me a wmTorret old folder but it did give me a wmTorret folder on first run of the program. Extracted the files from the cab you posted and there was still one more reference to wmTorret in the setup.xml file. Thinking that may be why. Gonna see if I can edit and replace it. Will check back here later or if I fail to see if someone beat me to it.

I think cab modification/creation is best left alone for by me for now. Please if anyone can get rid of the second folder (wmTorret) that's getting created after first run on the app?

You keep mentioning a setup xml, where is it? Not in the cab surely, so pls post it and I'll look into it.

BTW I used a hex editor on the exe and found this:

So the mistake is there, but I can't help: changing a letter with another is ok but adding one is impossible for me...

If I open the cab as an archive with 7zip or Winzip I can see the _setup.xml but if I use cab creator software to view the cab files it's not there and shows different files inside the cab. If you say the error is in the .exe, are you able to rename the t.o.r.r.e.t reference to F.o.l.d.e.r as it has the same number of letters or is this not possible? Thank you.

Don't know what you did extra but even after I installed and ran the app, I only have one folder correctly named wmTorrent. Thank you to everyone who assisted with this request.

And please can you solve this one. The xml in the original cab has some coding down the bottom that removes the need to register the app. After checking this latest fixed version I noticed that it has the option to register. Not sure if it will stop working after a certain time limit or something. Anyway it looks like this I think in the xml:
- <characteristic type="HKCU\Software\Adisasta\wmTorrent\3.0\General">
<parm name="strSerial" value="39897" datatype="string" />
<parm name="strKey" value="Christina963" datatype="string" />

I can see you corrected the xml (BTW I found I overlooked the line at the bottom of my cab editor mentioning "provisioning pre xml", my bad). Still "torret" is coded in the exe but it apparently doesn't matter.
