I am not able to add any events on my xperia x10 firmware 2.1. Every time when i was trying to add event, its showing me you have no calender. What does it means and what is the reason for this error? How can i resolve this issue?
Do you have a gmail account? With a calendar already set up by a android phone before? If you do, do these steps to fix this. This worked for me.
Make sure automatic sync is working and check it with calendar and email and contacts.
Go to settings, applications, manage applications, and then press the menu button, to filter, then press all applications.
From that screen delete all data (not uninstall) from these programs:
Calendar
Calendar storage.
Then let the phone sync the calendar programs info by itself.
That should work. Post again if it doesnt or if you have any questions.

Hi Every one,
I need an application from Xperia X10 => Menu => PlayNow => prayer application.
i was using this application on my xperia X10 from long long time but not i have sold my Xperia X10 and got Motorola Atrix so i need that prayer timing application.

I cant seem to find the option to enable search contacts in searchable items from google search bar after upgrading my xperia s to ics.. Why did they remove that feature?? It makes life harder for me to send sms and make calls!

This is idiotic. I too have Xperia mini pro with 4.0.4 and it works. But on XPS it doesn't even appear in searchable items. Any thoughts?
Anyone has any ideas on this subject? I've updated to latest UK firmware and this issue is still not fixed. How do you search your contacts? It's annoying to use Contacts application ONLY.

Me too just checked it with my Xperia S (ICS) Version..
Suspect it has to do with Asspple patent.
Try Aurora Universal Search - it is an addon to the Google Search Bar, and it allow you to search Contacts and a few others more things from your phone.
In my xperia Sola , when i hold menu litlle longer my keyboard pop up and search is here , i can search everything. In Xperia S this dont exist ?Keyboard pop up and nothing ?
Anybody knows solution for this ? Thanx

Hi Guys,
recently purchased a Nexus 7. It is my first tablet and first Android device and I love it.
I have some specific questions I cant seem to resolve, perhaps you can help me.
I'm running the stock JellyBean version that came with it, albiet with one OTA update 4.1.1 build number JR003D
any way here we go...
1) In the 'People' app I see all my contacts. Some of which I have connections with over a number of accounts...Skype, facebook, LinkedIn, whatsApp etc etc. I see a little green circle next to names that are online, but how do I know which service they are online for? I cant seem to work that out...
2) in the native Gmail App I am trying to send a note to one of my predefined groups. In the browser, I just type the name of the group....and it recognizes...in the App on the Nexus 7 doing this is not recognised....I actually do not know how to send to a gmail group from there...is it possible?
3) Once you select an option for program to open a file (asks you to do it 'just once' or 'Always') can you 'undo' this selection as I made the wrong one and now I'm stuck opening files that way.

Today i got my tablet p. Everything is working fine but after a new update( i think its the 4.0.3r5) i discovered that the Favorites are gone. Is there someone who knows how to get that app back. instead of the Favorites it shows me the Guest mode. Another thing is the PSpocket app. I dont know if it´s possible, but is there any chance of getting the pspocket app, known from the xplay, to the tablet p. I tried to install it but it crashes after i start it the first time and the widget isn´t working correctly. And the last question: I´ve heard about the stardust portable app for the sony tablets. But then i searched in the internet and only found a apk which shows me an error. Is there any possibility of getting this game. I have also Loco roco installed on the xplay. Someone here on xda removed the requirement of checking the registration. Maybe someone could do the same here. This would be really nice.

A few months prior to the release of their Android 4.0.3r5, Sony issued a survey and found a majority of responders said they did not use the Favorites function, so Sony removed the function and replaced it with the Guest Mode function.

I'm new here.
I posted a full question in xperia X8 Q&A , but wanted to make it more general as it may relate to any android.
I discovered a system app (picker.apk), which should not be there, according to Sony Erricson, and was drawing attention to itself as it had a blank blue icon, but no name, under mannage apps.
It was still there after a reload from sony pc companion, as it is in the "ROM" ?
The phone was standard, had one app installed (go sms pro), and was not rooted.
I have reason to beleive a spy or tracking app may have been installed, and removed again, before I found out.
Does anyone have any ideas on this ?
