Guide: Mini Pro stock 2.1 to 2.2 - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

I've made this guide on my tiny homepage explaining how to upgrade from Stock 2.1 to the newest CM6-Latest 5.0 & MiniCM based on Android 2.2 from D4rKn3sSyS.
It is ment to be a beginner friendly guide with a low barrier of entry.
It's here:
carbonic.dk/blog/?p=100
Any feedback will be appreciated, what could be explained better, what lacks etc.

Dude could you please use the search function first before making a thread about something that everyone know already

Actually, very few guides takes you in great detail from stock to a custom ROM in a single guide in the amount of detail I've done and with references to all the relevant sources. It is not meant for the loads of hardcore users in here and would to you might seem like repetition. For non geeks however, the story is different.
But then again, I wasn't asking if you could use it, I was asking if you could find anything wrong with it or that could be improved

Thing is there is loads of feeds about rooting this phone and some do it difernt to uthers so don't wast space bud

How can I use width mod in X10mini??

Hello! I'm using X10mini.
But, I want to use width mod like X10minipro in Semc Home, Timescape etc
How can I do it???
Sorry for my English(I'm Korean)'
I'm very very sorry. I don't know this is X10's Forum.
Dont mod your mini if no one gets back to u with the stuff here that is for the x10 only until a developer or member with great knowledge tells u u can. If i recall, i dont think u can use these mods here on your x10 mini. PM a key developer here who makes the ROMS. Like wolfbreak, j or z or rendeiro2005, or others i forgot to mention. PM JUST ONE OF THEM THOUGH. NOT ALL. THEY GET A TON A DAY AND BE PATIENT FOR AN ANSWER. Not trying to be rude.
Respect the Gods. Lol

[Q] A little advice from the pro's please,

I'm hoping someone picks this up and can advise me on the best way to go with my x10mini. I'm fairly new to android and have been considering rooting my device for sometime now, the only thing that's stopped me is this, which is the best/safest method to go about it? I first found the Superoneclick method and figured I could manage that, then found another method which eludes me at the moment, now I've found this, from here
talkandroid.com
and here
Android SDK
"You will need ADB from Android SDK and USB drivers for X10 mini (part of Sony Ericsson PC Companion).
Enable USB debugging on the phone in Settings>Applications>Development and connect the phone to PC via USB.
Add the Power management widget to your active widgets on the phone, so you can quickly trun off and on the wi-fi function."
Pretty sure I could manage this too but before I root my device could someone please tell me what I risk in doing this and the percentage chance of the risk occurring? Absolutely love the Android ethos, it has inspired me to seek out Android info and self teach app development, I need to root my device but don't want to make it never work again. I believe I can trust these downloads, they look safe, but advice from a seasoned Android rooter would be greatly appreciated.
I used SuperOneClick method found in this forum. its a breeze and never fail me
yeah, i figured that could be the way to go, still bit concerned about writing my phone off tho. S'pose I'll just have to take the plunge.
if you brick it use seus then star again its easy

[REQ]Port CM 6 MIUI from Mini

I was looking where is the MIUI for Mini Pro but i did not find anything! I found on mini forums that there is Cyanogenmod 6 MIUI style. I want realy to test it but i dont have mini. Can someone port?
Hi! MiUi for ARMv7 processor. X8, X10 mini, X10 mini pro is ARMv6.
It is not possible to do! Anyone who MiUi to X8 is not a complete MiUi. And the more **** like MiUi on the iPhone.
Miui theme am happy with that

And once again with a lot of smali hacks
And graphical resizes miui can be true for this tiny device and yes I know it is ARMv6
If anybody wants I can port S his rom over to the mini pro if I can get his permission ofcourse
But a full miui no I gave it a shot two times but I think it is way to much work
If any dev wants to try he or she can pm me and I will tell him the steps he need to do
But I'm not gonna do it sorry

Yep im good at graphics, but im more Bash, java, even a little bit of c programmer .. I think is a waste being on charge at graphics, there are lot of people better for that, you can see on my apports, all the things I made when I had this device.. sadly I had to sell it. I can help with bash scripts on init.d, I can build kernel, but I dont like to build roms, so youll need to find someone else for that, and all my things need to be tested first by someone with mid-high knowledge cuz I cant test myself. Anyway, I think I can try some bootanimation for now, what will be the ROM name and based on what android version?, also, do you think to build rom & kernel from scratch (SE Sources) or do any kind of port?

I'd recommend, to start up with AOSP gingerbread (wich is already fully working), and start to port features from ICS, that would be fairly cool
I would be in too!
I am good at designing.
And I know C and a bit of Java and c++
of course i also know html, css...
Oh yeah, AOSP seems unique to me. None have done that yet I think. But I was thinking of a Gingerbread ROM that was based on 2011 Xperias or even from stock Eclair.
Anyways, I would like to join the team too however, I don't have any skills on programming. I've created a custom ROM based on stock for Samsung Galaxy Y but I just know the basics of modding like copy-pasting.
Or why not make farazfaraz join your team too? His PrimeHD v1 was really better in terms of speed than other CM7 builds out there. Just my two cents.
Sent from my U20i using XDA App
I will tell farazfaraz to join if he wants But,how about we focus on gaming?Stuff like..using his PrimeHD but modifying it in order to get better scores at quadrant and more FPS in games.
D4rKn3sSyS - If you have free time please port the AOSP Rom to the Pro
TheMiltos21 - I will select the tweaks for the ROM
nailik0110 - Design the wallpaper and the Bootscreen! If you can make an T-Mobile theme engine apk theme.
qtu - Select the most less-RAM-using replacement apps for stock ones.
farazfaraz
When finished,I'll create an image having screenshots of the phone but I'll also post a video on YouTube about the ROM while gaming!
1st - I want to know if you're all cool with that
2nd - We'll have to choose a name
3rd - Will it be focused on being beautiful or being Ultra-Fast?
4th - Everyone's opinion counts as one vote - the one with most votes will be the idea used.I vote gaming/performance!
5th - How will our team be called?
i like design most of all, but im not a good programmer, but designing is my speciality
I make simple but nice graphics at low performance, like the ics, its most based on simple colors making a awesome view, would love to help you out, PM me if I can join
