it would be nice if you release first your custom rom. For sure many will not help you because of the assurance that maybe your just lying to us.

100% agree with you.
First, make a good ROM, then ask for money.
You cant ask money for release of ROM(no offence) but when u release the ROM, the Money will obviously pour into ur account and there are many ways to earn from ur ROM. U can Monetize ur link, so that every time ppl download from ur link u get some money.
I c there are more than 130+ Ace users according to poll and many are pouring in daily.

Well said Doomlord. I know i'm not a developer, but I am IT and this is what open-source and community is all about. This is healthy competition that benefits the users and the developers(through healthy competition).

The [OP] has clearly given credit to all the developers..!! war between developers isn't gonna help any development.. anyone should be allowed to modify already made roms WITH DUE CREDIT TO THE REAL DEVELOPER OFCOURSE...

this will be my ONLY and final comment:
1st. i clearly call this a MOD/ROM (1st line for those how have eye problems)
2nd. i give proper credits to all (i think) from 11th line (for those how have eye problems))
3rd. i ALWAYS give credit for those who deserve it. exactly the opposite of what Trip do (i.e. cobrato develop a few things for Trip [i`m sure he use it, and...great!!!] do you give ANY credit?! or even post the right link to the solution presented by him?!
Do you EVER give ANY credit to Z´s stuff or J`s?! (at least J`s ask for sorrow after he had to use your files cause his PC had broken a few months ago, yes after you say something, he just forgot).
4th. if someone don`t know how to live in a free community maybe you should learn something from other devs or maybe i and many of us should buy another phone so that way you can dev for some (thousands) instead of hundred thousands.
5th. you developed something? yes. definitely! do you share ANYTHING?! maybe you should learn from rdannar HERE. at least he described HOW!!!....learn!
6th. Do you give ANY credit for those who REALLY developed MIUI roms? i haven`t see it.
7th do you invent the wheel?
FINAL WORDS: at least i ALWAYS give credits for those who deserve it. do you?

I talked to ricardo about how to make these roms before yours was even available. Check my MIUI rom that was released around a week or so go. I have figured out how to port this before yours was even released. don't blame the OP for figuring out stable ways to mod and port roms.
On a side note you do great work developing roms and update them quickly. you should be proud of your work and the many people that appreciate it instead of always finding the negative in forum members.

Funny that it's a formel /trip /cobrato combo, I believe trip want happy his rom was used in the tripmuni/formel rom cobrato used. And now this hmm trip only just put his new rom up and has been working like a nutta on it to make it work.
This rom seems to me to be just taking the piss, it's more of a statement than a rom. I would be pissed off if I was coding and someone was repackaging my hard work into there's even before I had finished my project.
I know you credit Trip, but you must have known he wouldn't be cool about this, so I think it a big FU trip.
What you have done is put a jacket on his WIP
Having said that I use formel/tripmuni cobrato mid as it's faster and actually has real fixes, so it improves the original, don't see this does. Just an opinion though

I can't speak for anyone else, but I would probably handled this differently. I am certain a PM to Rich would have sufficed. C'mon guys, we are all in this together, and like many threads before have demonstrated, public confrontations are bad for everyone, the devs, the users, and most of all, our beloved x10 phones.
i wonder how long windows 8 will be out if each programmer work for themself and NOT share ideas. haha

ANDROID is open source... as long as credit is given, the source can be modified and i see no justification on TRIP being pissed on use of his rom...
In the spirit of openness I suggest both to get over this issue and continue doing their dev work...

I still use SyndicateRom Frozen on my Epic 4G. Best ROM I've ever used, can't wait to see what you guys come up with for the Prime!
I would test depending on what exactly the rom is gonna be. If it is just themed/tweaked a bit i'll have to pass. If it is actual development i would JUMP at the chance to help you out! I have owned over 20 android devices so experience is not a problem.
Im in I have beta tested on the original Transformer and several other android phones, would love to help as I dont know how to program and would like to give back to the community!!!!!
I'm in for testing, I have a flashing addiction, and am always looking for the latest and greatest.

Welcome to the club! I also got a Galaxy S Advance i9070 some weeks ago, which to me is like somewhat an "updated Wave": a bit bigger screen size but same resolution, same superAmoled, some more memory and a dual-core processor but same camera resolution (for pictures and video); also its lighter but at the same time feels cheaper because of the plastic case... I somehow miss my Wave because of the alluminium case (I accidentally threw it to the floor several times and it's still alive! feel like this new one won't resist that much!) and because the pixel density made the Wave screen look better to my taste, and it can fit the same contents in less space, and overall it fits better to my small hands :silly:...
...so I didn't rid off of my old Wave and I expect to continue using it for testing and who knows - maybe if a modem working Badadroid finally comes out maybe I would ever take it back again for normal use.
Anyway, an official Jelly Bean update is announced by Samsung to be available before the end of the year.
PS: also, as far as I know all the moddem roms for i9070 like the one linked by hero355 ara still kernel 2.3.6 based, so they are of no use for me. I probably will stick to the official firmware until a real version update.

I think in one way they are working together.. Rebellos fix a lot of things.. and tigrouzen makes the rom faster etc.. :good:

yes, but they dont combinate the roms!!
sure i want a working flash light, but i dont want to have a rom that has painfull lag (non of those has, but for heavy games it has lagg, like mc3. it works only with chainfire 3d at fire v1, otherwise too much lagg).
so it will be better if they combinate them AND make different roms.
so its actually the same rom specs, but other builds like MIUI, AOKP, CYANOGEN

well, i know the fully begin of android 4.0.4 on wave, but a bit of the 2.2
i wasnt intrested in the 2.2 rom because the screendrivers didnt work at my wave 1. only that buggy feel, i thought that even bada was better than that rom.
now i use every day badadroid.
only thing what i want (maybe others too) is that if they work togheter on 1 rom, the desteny will be seen earlier

Working together is not all about working in one thing. With differencies, they could have their own idea free with possibilities. And then inspiring each other. It worked the same as together.
Because it is not a job, they dont get paid, consider it as an art.
