Does anyone know of a Dual PDF viewer for Honeycomb/Android? I am looking for an app that will allow me to launch up two PDFs side-by-side or let me display two images right next to each other on the same screen. The reason being, I am studying for a test right now and would like a way to open the same PDF but right next to each other. One side will have the problems while the other side will display the answers & explanations. Therefore it will make it a lot easier to see the explanation to the answer without having to memorize what the question was. Often times I will read the answer but will totally forget the question (since I am doing like 10 questions at a time). Hope this is making sense. Please let me know if someone knows of a program like this. Couldn't find anything on the market. Thanks.

Does anyone know any PDF readers that persist the last spot you were reading in each pdf and automatically opening the doc to that place?
The few readers I've tried return to the same place when you simply switch in and out of the app within the same boot session. But if you kill the process or reboot the phone, they all return back to first page of the pdf and default view (i.e., zoomed out, vertical orientation, etc.).
Thanks!

I guess it is cause when you reboot the phone, your cache is cleared...
I use adobe reader for pdf.

Most likely. Though on iOS all readers I remember persisted the last viewed state, which was a very convenient feature. Otherwise viewing anything more than a couple of pages is not really practical...
I use QuickOffice for now.
Try Aldiko. If you import the PDF, it will remember your location across reboots.

KeepassDroid is a great app for password management, but there is a much better app on the Windows Phone platform. I recently made the switch from WP7 to Android but I'm really missing 7Pass. Maybe there is a developer interested in making this alternative Keepass client.
This picture shows main reason why 7Pass works better that KeepassDroid:

- There is a web browser built in, so instead of needing an external browser, the app can function competely by itself
- With 1 press on of the buttons, the username/password gets copied to the currently selected textbox. This way, there is no need to long press every textbox or open the notification bar, making the process a lot easier and faster.
- Dropbox and Skydrive functionalty is built in, both upload and download
- Ability to edit Keepass 2 files.
I would love it if an app like this would be made for Android,so if there is any developer out there looking for a new project...Go for it

Hello,
Is there any way to display a certain part of a webpage in a widget on home screen with a manual (or auto) refresh button to sync it with the website?
For example, I have the following website and want to only show the table I circled in red on my home screen.
Please advise on this.
Thanks for your help.

You'd have to make your own widget as I doubt that there is one that already exists for the website you want.

Thanks. I understand that. I am wondering if there is any program to do the above for any website? Essentially, what I am looking for is a method to set a portion of a website on the widget. That portion could be anything (image, header, ...). In my case, that is the table.
Thanks again for your help.
I highly doubt that there is one, and, if there is one, it likely doesn't work particularly well. Each website is made differently, and sometimes there is a lot behind the scenes that makes the site work (i.e. the HTML isn't necessarily going to be complete by itself). Your best bet would be to make a widget yourself, or to find one online or through the Play Store.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Hi all,
I read with interest the threads about updated ROMs and custom watch-faces, but I do not see anything similar for the sport screens?
Currently, for running I have the choice between 4 fields and 6 fields. I find these really difficult to read whilst running.
Much better to have a single field, or a couple of fields and the ability to scroll between them?
I have found if you disable enough of the stats, the screen will display 3 fields. I have this set to time, distance and pace but even then, time *must* be the first field on the screen regardless of it's position set via the app.
Would there be any possibility to design custom screens for the sports pages?
If you choose your sport activity and start it, there's an option to swipe left right, to see just one field. At least in New 2.0 and above update

Select in the activity settings a "real time stats" like pace, hr or speed. It will appear as a single field page after starting an activity.
Hey,
I am digging a bit and modifying the ROMs of my devices that also display video clips via my application. One thing annoys me. The moment when the system opens the object from the video. A terribly unattractive icon appears for a moment, stretched to the limit (attachment). I do not know where to look for it to replace it with something else or replace it with a completely black screen.
My Application uses WebView and this icon pops up in two cases:
a) when I call a video file using the player
b) when I run a YouTube video
This video icon appears on different systems also on Android 5.0 or 7.0. This is a system icon, because on a Sony phone this icon is different, although I use the same application (ie it is not embedded in a player)

I tried to search the directory structure after unpacking the .img file with the video keys, movie, hoping that I will find some directory with icons - unfortunately in vain. I hope that someone knows where to look or change it Or show me someone who can know about it.
Thank you very much in advance!
