5: change ua striang to desktop
6: you need to restart or task kill browser
7: Enjoy Hulu
Sweet. Thanks man. Looks pretty good...watching a movie right now
Now its time for Netflix
Hmm...it was working fine before I rebotted. Now hulu telling me that my flash player is outdated.
I actually installed this right out of the box before I even got the stock flash apk. It didn't work for me, said my flash player was out of date also.
Got the same flash needs to be updated error. Would love to have hulu running on this bad boy!
+1....not working after reboot.
I think I know what happened. I uninstalled the latest flash version...installed this one...and just hit up netflix. It was probably getting the latest version number...but the files belonged to the old player.
Gonna try to recreate it.
I'm getting the same error as well.
Says my flash player is out of date
"hulu requires flash player 10.0.32 or higher"
I will look for a way to fake version number.
Edit: I never installed flash from the market and its still working after reboot. Must be something left over from original version that updates the version number.
Working fine. I just uninstalled flash then installed the click.apk. I did not reboot.
Note: I already had my striang set to desktop before uninstalling.
Thanks!

This is awesome!!! Hulu working!!! I wonder how long this will work...hopefully it will not get "fixed" on Hulu's end.
Thanks for the info!
I removed the original working flash, and used the version in the first post, I get the wrong version of flash error (hulu worked for me with the marketplace flash.. just laggy)
my about:debug doesn't work for me
when i try to use Dolphin Browser it tells me not for my device even though I changed the user agent to desktop
It works perefect for me even after reboot. I never installed market version of flash. I am going to have working hulu in my rom and hope that will fix it for u guys that get errors.
you just gave me raging wood.
Very new 10.1 owner here. I haven't installed ANYTHING from market as I just got my tablet about an hour ago. Installed apk from first post, did about:debug + settings + desktop ua, rebooted my tablet, and it's as if I don't even have flash. Even adobe's flash test pages tell me I don't have flash installed.

just curious and excited thx
After you type about:debug in browser and hit enter you select settings in the top right and will notice the debug setting there.

How can I tell if flash is working? Tried playing a video on facebook. Did not work. I running nero v3 . Is there a site to go to try it out?
Im running nero v2 and i havent streamed any flash video. But I have gone to sites that have flash ads and it works.
Fear the beard...
This may sound incredibly lame, but try going to the market and searching for "Flash".
This should show you a few things. First you should see that Flash Player 10.1 is installed, if it is and you want to verify, download "Adobe Flash Showcase"
It's a free download that highlights sites with videos and games made for Flash 10.1 and it will only work if your phone has it installed.
After you're done and you've verified whether it's working or not you can simply delete the showcase if you don't want it.
I haven't been able to find a thread containing this, so forgive me if it's a repeat (the search function on this site isn't the best).
I recently rooted my eris and have tried kaosgingerbreadV8, kaosfroyoV39, and xtrSense. I like xtrSense the best, but I would like to have the same flash support that the factory ROM had and the 360deg rotation like the kaos'. Anybody know where I can get them or a ROM that has them?
Also, is there a way to change all my widgets to transparent at the same time, or do I have to flash each one separately?

Xtrsense has flash built in. As far as the transparent Widgets. You'd either have to flash them separately or put them together into an all in one flash. I don't know of one out there myself. I could be wrong though. If you want to pm me what ones you want and I'll see what I can do for you.

XtrSense say's that flash is there, but it won't pull up flash sites that work on the base ROM. I made sure that the enable flash is checked in the browser settings, no dice. Do I need to turn it on somewhere else?

If I remember right the first time you open the browser it doesn't always work and you might need a reboot. With your phone browser go to whatismyflash.com. If it says flash not installed then reboot phone, go to that site again and it should be good.
I seen that when I downloaded the ROM and tried it right away. Just retried, no dice, still said "none (or disabled)". Rechecked a site that works on the base ROM, still says I need to download flash. Any other ideas?
You could try a full wipe and reflash or try skyfire browser or miren browser.
Sent from hell with my Bad Seed Eris
The wipe and reflash didn't work. I've tried Skyfire in the past and didn't like it... has anybody blown apart the sense code and located the file for their flash player? How would a noob try to find it (what would I look for)?
I found Tenzo's xtrRCMix 2.1, seems like they are very similar (Tenzo credits Zach.xtr) and the flash works! Now if I could get the 270deg rotation...
(tried Tenzo2.2.1 but it was laggy. future build maybe?)

Yep, this is right. And in my case, Flash showed as working the first time I visited whatismyflash.com so I never had to do the reboot/retry scenario. I didn't flash anything Flash-related (forgive the alliteration) when I installed xtrSENSE, so it must have been baked-in to the ROM as reported.
Hello Forum,
I'm having a difficult time with my retail 10.1 wifi tab. I had previously rooted using odin and instructions on a website so that I could load an altered wpasupplicant file. However, I noticed that touchwiz ux wouldn't install yesterday (it would download, restart, get to 13%, then boot and tell me the update failed; happened many times).
So, I unrooted using this method:
"watch?v=xiSXcMbYqfs" (comes after the slash in a youtube.com url, I can't post links apparently)
and did a factory reset. When I went to update, it loaded "P7510UEKG4" (the 11 something mb update), which provided me with a "movies" program. I was under the impression that this update was for the I/O tab, which I don't have. Now, the touchwiz update is unavailable.
Can someone explain to me (or direct me to a site to) return my retail tab back to 100% stock settings? I don't know what is going on with it, but I just want it back to how it came to me.
Thanks!
Jim

Exact same position as you.
I tried the OTA 3.1 (KF3) and only got 11mb update that locked the bootloader.
I am currently trying to go back to 3.0 then update.
same thing happened to me and I have not found a solution sadly. i just installed the rom posted for UEKMB as that puts you back on a retail ver. just it is rooted and such.
I'm back at 3.0.1 but still can't get an update using kies and through settings
I was in the exact position also. Reinstalled CWM, installed stock ROM with TW-rooted, from this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1198921
Everything is perfect. Movies show up in market, Netflix still works perfect. This is how Samsung should have released this tablet. I really like TW and the additional apps preloaded (swype, media hub, etc...)
I'm in the same boat as well. B00sted, did that rom you mentioned work for you? Where did you get it if it did.

I guess I'm gonna have to use this, I just wanted to go back to stock so i could get OTA updates without hassle.
I felt the same way also, but with the eaze of using Clockwork Mod, this is really a non issue for me anymore. This is the first Android device I've doing any hacking on and it is so easy I will probably do my HTC Incredible soon.
Thanks gpgofast, I took the route you suggested. Everything's in order. Only problem is that now my wpa_supplicant replacement doesn't work and I can't connect to my droid's ad hoc network (which is why I rooted the tab in the first place). Oh well, that's a topic for a different thread.
Thanks,
Jim
Why don't you just load up the this stock rooted rom and use Netflix, Samsung Media Hub(Google market movies) and your wpa_supplicant.?
ALso,here is the stock firmware that Samsung provides go to bottom of page for all the info you need. You could also go to the first post in Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android Development and go to this link from there. Its in big red words after the CWM recovery menu list.
Hi tdavis, that's what I did (loaded up the stock rooted rom at the link you pasted, and replaced the stock wpa_supplicant). When I do this, wifi won't start, it says "error". Maybe it's a touchwiz thing? The wpa_supplicant I used was created pre-touchwiz. Here it is:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-1083182.html
Note: this worked just fine when I was using a previous (non-touchwiz) stock rooted rom. This was the previous rooting method I used:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krQDP7xYlWg
Any thoughts?
One other thing... I did load the stock rom that you mentioned in the second part of your post. With it, I couldn't get the touchwiz update, which is why I installed the stock rooted touchwiz rom you mentioned.
OK, nevermind, the modified wpa_supplicant works fine on the stock rooted touchwiz rom
If you find yourself in the same position as me, remember you have to change the permissions for the new wpa_supplicant file so that it can execute. Also remember to put your tab in airplane mode while swapping the file, and to restart when you're done. (I didn't change the file as suggested by the original poster, I just used root explorer to swap the file).
As noted by the original poster of the wpa_supplicant file, after you disconnect from an adhoc network, you should restart wifi (or else you can't connect to other networks, at least I couldn't). You may also have to "forget" your ad-hoc network before you connect to that network on subsequent occasions (had to do this on the last stock rooted rom, haven't tried on this one yet, but assume it's the same). Small price to pay, works great.
Thanks everyone, thread SOLVED.
Nice. Glad you got it working. I hardly get an answer from one person its always a pieced together answer.
Ok I got The recent Flash back rom installed and running nicely on GTab
Only a couple application issues.
Mobile biz pro force close - resolved by going back 1 version.
But hbo go and max go won't work, I had them running under Cyangen mod 7.03
through using a tool to create and upload an Imie Identifier but I have been unable to locate that same tool again, and I don't know if it will work with Flashback.
Any pointers would be helpful
I'm not getting FC issues I'm getting incompatible application message.
Found Dizzy's Imei generator but no luck same issue, Should I try editing the build prop? if so to what?
They have fixed that issue with HBO Go and Max Go where you do not need the IMEI spoof now. They have also updated the apk where it currently only runs stable on Froyo Roms right now also. You can upload it to a 2.3 rom but it will get stuck in a buffering loop. I went ahead and bit the bullet and flashed back to Beast 2.2.1. Works fine with that and also works great on Century Eyes.
Thanks for the Info, I'm really liking flash Back 10.0, and really don't amt to roll back
I installed the HBO GO application on Honeycomb 3.0 (Flashback).
When I start the HBO GO application, I receive the error:
"HBO GO is not supported on this device"
Does anyone have a solution to fix this problem?
I just purchased a brand new Prime and am having problems with flash not working. It is still completely stock, have not rooted or anything yet.
I have tried 3 different browsers (chrome, dolphin, and stock browser) and flash works in none of the three. When i go to Adobe's flash checker I do not see the video that needs to be seen, it's just a grey box. I made sure all the updates are installed through the play store. It is version 11.1.115.17 right now.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

did you try a reboot after the software install? I know you shouldnt have to but it never hurts.
Yes, I uninstalled Flash, rebooted, re-installed flash, rebooted, updated flash in market, rebooted. I made sure in the browsers that javascript etc is enabled
Does anybody have any other ideas??

No, though I do notice you mentioned trying it in Chrome. Flash is not supported in Chrome on Android. So even if you get it to work it will work in Dolphin or the stock browser but not Chrome. And in 4.1 Chrome replaces the stock browser so if you want flash I'd forget about the other two and concentrate on making it work with Dolphin.
Have you tried all the methods in this thread? You may need to be rooted for some of them.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846225
So Update, I just opened my Tablet, and there was an update for Dolphin, I proceeded with the update and it seems that flash is working now on that browser, atleast on the site that I needed it most, my college class site, more tests will be ran
Thanks to everyone for their help
