I am looking for a decent set of bluetooth headphones for my samsung galaxy s2, I am looking at the plantronics 9300+ at the moment, anything better out there, thanks
get the Sony Ericsson MW600 and then you can attach any headphones. I personally use it with Bose in ear.
Dell BH200, if they are still around...

I just got the x3 blueant bluetooth headset. It was very easy to setup, but it's also not my first headset. The sound quality is ok coming in but everyone complains of interference. Has anyone had experience with blueant and their products? I may return it since I have a 15 day policy. I really need to find a headset and am having no luck. Can anyone suggest a good BT headset?
thats strange - cause its worked GREAT for me ..
as I said in one of my other posts the x3 blueant even goes thru walls and I have not had any problems with it and my Tytn; for a while I even used the 3.5mm transmitter dongle that comes with it to listen to my OLD SCHOOL mp3 player in the gym
I have done the A2Dp hack and the sound quality is awesome before and after the hack ...
i am debating between the blueant, jabra 500v, and the plantronics 645. any opinions?
Hi everyone
I need help choosing between 2 bluetooth stereo headphones:
1) Sony Ericson HBH-DS970
-$60 CAD used from someone local (he claims it is not a fake)
2) Jabra BT8010
-about $110-140 CAD on eBay
I am having a hard time deciding between the two.
Are they both equally compatible with the Hermes? Which one has better sound quality when playing music?
Please help me decide or a different BT headphone that you think is better.
Thanks
I just tried out the SE DS970 and I was not impressed with the audio quality. there was no skipping because I used Sleuth's patch and I tried all the BT quality settings using the HTCtweak but the audio quality was poor compared to the OEM USB headphones. I am certain it was not a fake. Is that normal sound quality on the Hermes?
I hope someone can comment on this.
There are two threads with extensive discussion on the SE HBH-DS970 and also some on the Jabra 8010

Try these.
I personally use the SonyEricsson and am very happy with the quality. The bass is particularly good.
I have not tried the Sony, but looking at the comments and the ergonomy of the headphone, it may provide better bass than the BT8010.
The BT8010 sound is well balanced with good bass, but the reason I am using it is that it is flexible. it can convert from a headset to a headphone very easily.
When used as a headset, you can get A2DP sound in your ear including phone ring, Voice command and system sounds.
It has also a vibrate function so you can put it in your pocket and still get those phone calls.
No compatibility issue whatsoever with Hermes.
For best sound on the go I am using the superwifi5 with BT320s or simple cable adaptor cable as Sling Video has some trouble to keep up with WiFi and BT A2DP at the same time
I know there are several threads on bluetooth headphones - I've read through these, but just want to check whats the latest recommendation people have?
Im looking for good quality headphones with remote facility for the Touch HD and decent battery life.
I need to replace my old model which i sat on!
Thanks
Just got the Plantronics stereo bluetooth headset...it is good.
Sound is very clear...but the bass is on lower side.
It looks very smart though...with its boom extended.
I have also tried Sony Ericsson (the ones with CLI) and its sound was very loud and bassy.
Hello people.
As i wasn't able to figure out a solution to the problem with the 3.5mm jack, i decided to try a different solution and got a Stereo Bluetooth headset instead. I fired up a search at amazon, which gave me this Nokia headset and it was only about 30€ so i went for it and bought it. Today the headset arrived and it only took me about 1 minute to get it to work! (Simply turned on bluetooth, searched, tapped the device and played some music ) I gotta say, that this thing has simply AWESOME sound quality. It's just the same quality as you would expect from a 30€ wired 3.5mm headset! If you are searching for a solution to the lack of 3.5mm on the G1, get this thing!
P.S.: If i won't forget about it, i'm gonna report back about batt life and range in a few days

Your headset isn't a2dp capable which is the ability to stream music via bluetooth. You will need to buy a stereo or mono a2dp headset.
ah thx a lot dkyang !
Hi
I saw several post re: listen music/video via bluetooth...but didn't find one for samsung vibrant specifically. I have 2 bluetooth headset - Motorola H505 and Samsung WEP405, both of which pairs and connects to my vibrant easily (I haven't root my phone), and i can get phone call sound but I can't listen to music or get sounds while watching video via bluetooth, sound just comes out from speaker. I checked bluetooth setting --> option --> shows check mark next to "connect" and "phone audio" but as I read several places, I don't see option for "Media audio".
Can someone help to resolve this issue...if I can get around this with my exisiting two bluetooth headset or i need to get any specific bluetooth which is compatible with this function ?
Thank you.
Motorola H505 and Samsung WEP405
are not bluetooth stereo headphones, you can not use this stream media audio, you can only use these for phone audio
The phone knows it is not a BT stereo headphone, this is the reason why it is not giving you the media audio option.

Thanks for your input, though would you please tell me what are my other option (bluetooth models) that would work for above mentioned function.
You need a bluetooth headset that has the a2dp profile on it in order to stream media.
I've read somewhere that the motorokr s9 headset is really good.
I'm also out shopping for a BT earpiece that I can listen to music omw to work.
Here's the list I currently have in mind:
Plantronics Voyager 855 Stereo Bluetooth Headset
Polaroid Pbt325Blk Bt325 Stereo Bluetooth® Headset
Samsung Modus 3500 Mono & Stereo Bluetooth Headset
Jabra BT8010
BlueAnt Q2
BlueAnt T1
Jawbone ERA
I'm kinda leaning towards the BlueAnt Q2 or the Jawbone ERA that just came out.

I did go ahead and looked at those bluetooth headsets.
Neither of them seem to support the profile that you need in order to stream media. Make sure that when you are looking for bluetooth products the profile description says "A2DP".

I have the original Motorola S9's, and they are pretty good. The S9 HD's (just the newer version) are supposedly a bit easier on the ears than the originals. They're worth up to ~$60 imo. So if you can get them for around that or less, that's a good buy.
I have a Sony MW600. You can get it for about $50 and rather than a clip-on, it's just a little module that you can plug regular headphones into. It has a decent microphone and the sound quality is excellent.

Try this application from market....called "super bluetooth mono froyo"....you will find it in first 10-20 search results. Then follow the instruction...very easy....which enabled my existing bluetooth samsung wep450...which works fine with all audio (including media and video) - haven't tried my motorola bluetooth yet.
