Wow did anyone read the specs at the bottom of htcs page? It says it has an 8MP rear camera..... Also 2.5mm headset jack not 3.5mm. Interestinggggg, I bet its just typos though.
This is really funny how people get so offended about this, if you don't like the second thread then stay at the other one, this guy was just trying to help... Not that I don't like a clean forum but let's not go crazy about this, unless you are a a mod and want to be strict about it

happens every time for every phone. not a biggy. its the "storm" time. then for a few weeks(i pray) it will be the "calm" with threads about nit picks, gripes, and "did you know this". Then the poor dev community is going to get raped by people demanding things of them when the devs dont owe anything to anyone. Just a natural cycle of things around here.
the only important thing to me(and hopefully everyone else) is that we all get our damn phones and get to enjoy our 3d headaches together lol

well the htc goes thru letstalk.com with fees for shipping and activation(at least that's what the site was showing when I test carted it..) but the thru sprint was no activation fee and supposed free "overnight" shipping..once you logged in

I assure you that is not even close to a very common/important question. Maybe for an XDA member. I Know what your saying though, I asked an at&t salesman what version of android the atrix ran and he had no idea, he wanted to pull out the manual! I'm like buddy, its right here in the settings menu.

Oh it's already been told, I just posted this for some humor on the thread, so much for that, anyway the 4.3-inch screen has a special 3D qHD (960 x 540 pixels) stereoscopic display that does not require special eyewear to experience the perspectives. It's awesome

I used my upgrade yesterday and have voiced my disappointment to upper-level account services. I made it clear I am not considering leaving over it, but am very disappointed in Sprint for this bait-and-switch and I'm not a happy customer and ONLY chose to use it because according to them my only other option is losing it. My "issue" has been elevated and I told the last csr I spoke with that what I don't need is another csr to call me and re-explain something I already understand, and if her supervisor wishes to contact me and make an effort to turn me back into a happy customer they are welcome to do so.
Don't be offended, I know you know your stuff, this is just how I've decided to proceed.

using paypal as the payment methood. buying the phone off of the market forum here on XDA
Check his xda feedback, make sure you don't gift him the money, make sure he has pictures with his username written on a piece of paper next to the device. Stuff like that will help, done several transactions on here.

Just avoid a guy named Willieum.. he tried to rip me off when I tried to buy an amaze from him a while back, he recently ripped someone else off.. he was dubbed scammer of the month for a while, and he made it to the unofficial scammers of the marketplace list https://www.dropbox.com/s/1lyf7wdmcc5gvn3/scammers on xda.txt
If anyone else EVER sees this thread who is thinking about buying an amaze- just don't gift the damn money. I gifted it like an idiot, and I STILL got paypal to refund it.. but if it isn't gifted, it is about 1000% easier to get your money back if things go sour..

I know the last tread got ugly. But would like everyone to keep fellow members updated. As the time is counting to getting your hands on. With the most powerful Mobil device on the market.. I will confirm I do have my hands on. A fully unlocked firmware for Verizon. I can not confirm it works yet. Due to not having the device in front of me. Once I confirm it. I will post a whole write up on that.. With links..

While I hope its true...I'm very Leary, as the s4 is STILL locked. I guess we will find out soon.

No expected date yet, but I did use that coupon code that was being thrown around and got 30% off . Now those f*ckers at Verizon need to get their sh*t together and send me my f*cking phone (sorry pre-ordered since the beginning is kinda getting to me...)

All do respect. Why would I do that. After going through hell to get it. To let you have the honors first to try out.. Once I get my device in my hands. Then we will go from there. .

Because unlike you, I don't start threads with attention seeking topics that never come to fruition. I could care less if I'm labeled on XDA as a "recognized elite developer" or whatever it is or have some stupid, big thanks meter. Those things are worthless to me. What matters most is getting good, clean, easy-to-install workarounds to the foolish measure Verizon forces on the manufacturers out to the general public. You want credit, you'll get FULL CREDIT as the source. You have my word.

I missed all the shenanigans in the other thread .. was sorry to see it go. Thought we were all having a good time, but some folks just take things too far I guess.
Still nothing on my end as far as a CC charge ... but I did go to an AT&T store and drool over play with their display N3! Probably not the best idea as now I am bursting at the seems to get mine!! DAMN YOU VERIZON!!!!!!!
