Eyama! I have tried rooting my phone using super oneclick but it display an error message "exec system/bin/sh failed no such file or directory(2) "
Try factory reset if stil doesnt work then you must flash original SE rom and do everything from begining.
Or maybe if some one from mini thread make you flash zip for sh file.

And although he can enter on the flash mode but isn't recognized.
So i cant updated pro SEUS or PC Comp. =(

If u can't update with SEUS, u need to use flashtool for X10, just download the genetic ROM and install it, it's easy, no big deal.
I hope u can do it, cya

You can flash the ROM via xRecovery to get the latest baseband & kernel.
Is in general section, make a little search.
I could install via flash, the problem is that my phone is not recognized by the PC, that includes the flash mode
basically the only thing I can do is use the xrecovery, and acess the SD card.
so I stuck to the baseband version of .49.
anyway I think I found the post about it. Tehouster Thanks!
I found the post but need to install the .sin files by FlashTool anyway = (

You can use xRecovery for the FW, but the kernal needs to be flashed with the flashtool.
this is the post I had seen,
Although I can install the 435.zip with xrecovery
but not to install the 435_FT.zip because this is installed via Flashtool...
By the way, installing only the 432.zip, the baseband becames Unknown and will not recognize SIMCARD

I want to know if there is any other way to flash a cusom ROM, like Froyo or Gingerbread without using xRecovery, because I can't boot into recovery.
Tried to install xRecovery using the app, but it doesn't let me install it. Tried the manual way, I've put the 3 files in System/Bin and it still does not boot into recovery.
I have a 1.6 firmware and I can't install official 2.1 because it gives me an error when I try to install it via PC Companion and when I try to flash a firmware using FlashTool, my phone won't boot. The only firmware I can flash is from ROOT_F3V3 so that my phone can boot.
I have no Repair button in SEUS, it just sais that there is no software update for my phone and the only choice I have is Finish. This happens for no matter what firmware I install.
Can you help me please?

You don't have to put those 3 files in system/bin.Just find system/bin with your Root Explore, check on all 9 permissions of this folder and then go to the XR app and install it.If you still can't boot into XR after installation, maybe you should try Xrecovery 0.0.1.version.It always works for those people who can't boot into XR just like you.Good luck.Sorry for my bad English.
Hmmm...sorry i couldnt be more help...the only thing i could possibly think of is flashing a new basebrand AND firmware at once...hopefully you get this issue resolved later. Best of luck

thnx for da flashtool thing, worked like charm.
After rooting, had some problems with installing busybox and xRecovery. With little googling, I have installed both of them manually.
However, I am unable to boot in xRecovry. I keep pressing the back key on the boot screen, but my phone always starts normally. Not in xRecovery.
Use flashtool to instal xrecovrey, do it this way
1. Attach phone and start flashtool.
2. Goto to application settings on phone and ensure debugging is enabled. Only do this step if flashtool does not connect to your phone.
3. Click on ask root permissions
4. Give flashtool super user rights on your phone
5. Click on xrecovrey on flashtool.
6. Disconnect and reboot phone.
7. St the SE screen hit the back button repeatedly.
That should work

thanks for all the help guys...
finally I have the Bluesparks running on my x10i.
very good rom. Thanks Malabarth and thnx once again everyone!
HEY guys...thanks for your hard work here...
i've a problem,
SHORT VERSION:
1-downloaded Doomlord gingerbread backup and made "factory reset"
2-no access to xrecovery (actually i've missed with them in system/
3-no root permission and can't get it with flashtool
4-all i can do is to use the phone in flash mode
5-NOW HOME BUTTON DOES'T WORK,POWER OPTIONS SHOW ONLY POWER OFF,AND I GUESS NO USB DEBUG IS WORKING AS FLASHTOOL NOR SUPERONECLICK NOR ADB METHOD CAN ROOT THE PHONE
Now I'm asking,....can i root or flash custom rom without usb debug??
LONG VERSION:
1-downloaded Doomlord backup
2-wanted to install wolf GB TW or z's uncap
3-my old xrecovery can't mount SD
4- i thought the error had been in the phone so i made a factory reset
5-after the reset i still had a root access
6-downloaded xrecovery 0.3 + unzip
7-copied sh&xrecovery.tar in system/xbin
8-copied 2 charger files to system/bin
9-still the old xrecovery
10-copied the xrecovery.tar in system/bin
11-no recovery mode at all
12-i later i realized that i've no more root access
13-tried 2 factory reset and superoneclick and root with flashtool and with adb exploid method -all not work-
14-then i realized that USB debug may not be working as there's no notifications about it
15-tried some .apks -Gingerbreak&x10iroot- also not work
PLEASE HELP IF U CAN...
since you can connect it in flash mode i suggest flashing stock 2.1 and take it from there

Yes and no.
No because you can only flash official sony ericsson firmwares using flashtool.
Yes because when you flash back to 2.1, you can root, install xrecovery, and install any rom you want (providing you have the correct baseband).
