Notes eating battery - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

Has anyone else found that in the battery stats, the notes application is keeping the phone awake all the time and therefore eating the battery? I have found this more than once and have now removed my Evernote account sync for the moment to see if that is the culprit.
Really annoying though as it ate 30% of the battery overnight for me last night.

Different battery discharge rate. Any ideas?

Hi guys. I'm running on CheckROM revoHD4 and while sometimes I lose 10% of battery overnight today I dropped 30% in 3.5 hours doing absolutely nothing with screen off and not a huge ammount of apps running on the background. And its not the first time I notice inconsistent discharge. When I installed this ROM battery would last for 20h/3h screen/3h voicecalls. now sometimed it doesn't even last half of that. Any ideas?
You should check the battery info via Settings > About Phone > Battery Stats to see if you find a proccess that is huging the battery.
Also you could download Better Battery Stats from the Market and find which proccess are the ones doing the more Wake Locks and how much time they have done it. You could find for example an app thats been doing that for hours and that could be the cause of the battery drain.

Just got a Galaxy S3 - 17% battery after 12 hours "use"

Basically as the title says, I've bought a "refurbished" one, but I'm not sure whether it's faulty, or whether this is just the average battery life of one of these things!
Woke up at 6am, I used it for about 30 mins this morning on facebook/ebay/bbc news through wifi. Send about 20 txt messages, 10 minutes on the phone. ANother 30 mins browsing/facebook on my lunch break. 12 hours later it's sitting at 17 hours battery life. And it's been on power save mode the WHOLE time. Is this just something I'm going to need to get used to or is mine just a dud?
LOVE the phone otherwise though
If you download Better Battery Stats app (either in the play store, or on this site here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809), and GSam battery monitor you can check up if certain apps are causing your battery to drain.
I had a really bad drain on my battery whilst in standby mode, and these battery apps helped show me that a few rogue apps were preventing my GS3 from going into deep sleep and the battery was draining even with the screen off.
I would say its more than likely an app causing your battery drain rather than a faulty phone. I spent weeks thinking I had a faulty phone then discovered these battery apps to find the problem... my battery lasts very well now. It just takes some patience to find the culprit.
What was your screen on time? Settings >> Battery >> click on screen and it will tell you the screen on time.
When you use GSam battery monitor, pay particular attention to the apps sections 'View time held awake' and 'View num times waking device'

Biggest culprit is usually having facebook sync on in the background, check that in settings. It's an awful app. I use other things like Seesmic to check facebook now.

Battery & Gauge Issues

My DNA battery has gone crazy. Last night the battery was at 66%, I restarted it and the battery went up to 76%. Today, the battery was at 33%, I rebooted it and the battery dropped to 17%. After that I rebooted it again to see if it would go back up and it dropped to 14%. So I did it one last time and that battery then went up to 24%. I dont get it and on top of that my battery life has been terrible recently.
To try to extend it I have installed Lux to manage the screen brightness, I have turned off backup and Google Location Service.
I got Nova Launcher yesterday to see if that helps, I'm using Greenify to close apps and CleanMaster to get rid of junk. I dont use Google Now or have any apps sync/receive notifications besides Messages and Phone. I can't get through the day and I don't use my phone from 7am to 12 in the afternoon.
I have 25 apps installed from Google Play and all the bloatware and useless apps disabled. I use Next Browser instead of Stock/Chrome
Any solutions or suggestions

Maybe just try to do full cycles with the batter to re-calibrate it, charge it up 100%+ and drain it 99%, rinse/repeat a few times.

Ive read that you arent supposed to drain the battery and this phone is unpredictable for when it will turn off from a low battery.
Sometimes it turns off at 8%, sometimes it might turn off at 2%

You're right about draining the battery however we cannot fully drain these batteries. The system shuts the phone down when it hits a certain level, however you can still power the device back on after it does this, thus the battery still has charge and not fully drained.
And yes they can be unpredictable.
Mine will shut down when it gets to about 5 percent but I was using it one time and it went from 8 to 2 in a second and powered itself down. I think they all act weird when they get really low but your issue sounds like the battery is on its last leg.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
According to your battery stats, what's draining the battery the most? Also download GSam battery stats to get a more detailed look at the apps and services that are consuming battery.
Maybe your battery is past its prime, but you want to be sure its not an app or service draining things before giving up.
My Droid 3 and 4 are still going strong as long as I charge them fully and then periodically drain them to 10%.

Overnight battery drain.(idle time)

Normal battery drain is 6-7% overnight.Even if i turned on aeroplane mode, the battery drain overnight is 3-4%.
Any Remedy?!
You have to find the cause of the drain. I get a drain of 0.6-0.7% per hour overnight. If that's the level you're at, then you're fine, (I don't know how long you sleep- can't make that calculation). Some setups can go below that but really your phone should be consuming some energy overnight. If it's much higher than that, use gsam battery or better battery stats to figure out 1. No of times each service is waking your device. 2. Are there any apps that are consuming a lot more than everything else. Charge your phone above 90% and let it be overnight as you normally would. What you do after will depend on what you find out, what rom you have, what kernel you have, what your phones unlock status is and what kind of performance/usability you are willing to give up.
PS. Don't turn off sync or turn on battery saver at night. That actually causes some apps to misbehave. As an overall fix , naptime or greenify with aggressive doze are good. Just don't use both at the same time

Xiaomi Mi note 10 lite battery drain Issue .

Hey I hope you guys are doing great !
Well i bought this phone like last month and the battery was working fine for the first few days but then its battery started decreasing faster than before while using the same apps as before. The most battery drains while its still in the idle conditions and overnight.
At first it would only loose like 1 or 2 percent over night but now it looses like 1 percent battery every hour it stays idle.
I have attached 2 screenshots below to show what I'm talking about . Both screenshots were taken 1 day apart and as you can see , sometimes the battery works fine but sometimes it drains a lot and its mostly when its idle. Kindly suggest me something if you got anything in mind that what might be the issue here.
Maybe the radio of your phone, that's what's draining mine fast.
And Facebook is a well known battery drainer
If you tap on the graph once, it allows you to find out the battery drain for specific time intervals and their length can be adjusted as well. Please do that and tell us which app or apps are draining the most battery during standby. Btw is your aod on? Aod prevents the device from sleeping properly so the battery drain can rise up to 2% per hour if its on. If that is not the case as well, try turning off location and nfc if they are not being used, and turn off wifi and cellular before going to sleep and then check the drain. Also try disabling google play protect from play store, and check out the link below which improved battery life for many people including myself:
