Got an email from wirefly that my evo 3d has shipped. So I will be getting mine tomorrow. I had assumed that I would not get it until atleast Monday so this is a pleasent surprise especially for the price. Can't wait!!!!!

Mine got shipped too... the fedex tracking information says arrival date will be Monday though. Its going to be a looonng weekend waiting

Nope, the promise of free shipping was so nice when I ordered it. Of course now I am kicking myself. Oh well, I can try to use oodles of minutes from my soon to be cancelled old plan this weekend I guess.
Mine has shipped as well. It's coming from MD, not sure when it will be delivered as I'm right outside of Boston, Ma. Maybe tomorrow or Saturday.
I have to say so far I'm happy with Wirefly, got the best price and shipping a day before official launch.
Mine says shipping, but I haven't gotten my tracking number, etc. I ordered the overnight shipping.
Shipped at 6:42PM 6/23/2011 via FedEx Home Delivery with a scheduled delivery of 6/25/2011 to Chicagoland. I forgot that Saturday was a normal delivery day for Home Delivery as opposed to regular FedEx.

That's dumb. I ordered on the 13th and mine is still "processing".
Mine got delivered today at 12:00.
When I opened it, the left side was slightly scuffed. The bottom left has terrible light leakage that can be seen outdoors There is a dead pixel on my menu key.

Just ordered my Thunderbolt last night on Amazon to take advantage of the $179 price. According to the site its on backorder right now. Anyone else order from Amazon and still waiting? Today I got notification it shipped, and is expected to be delivered tomorrow (despite 2 day shipping, since it's coming from NJ -> NY, it will arrive in 1 day).

must be frustrating. they are offering free 3pm overnight shipping right now too. maybe you could call and have it resent via that for delivery tomorrow?
Amazon overshoots their delivery times, never had to wait as long as they estimated for anything I've ordered there, including phones.

Glad you talked em into it. I tried this on Sunday afternoon. VZW and Best Buy both refused to match it. I said "No Problem" and ordered online. Hopefully they will give me an update soon.
I purchased my TB on 3/18 and amazon sd it was backordered. got "Shipped" confirmation saturday 3/19 at noon and was in my hands monday 3/21 around 3pm. Came from Louisville, Ky and shipped to TN. I had to wait 24 hours for Sprint to release my number. All I can say is Amazon Wireless rocks!!

On bright note for everyone whos ordered. The Thunderbolts are back in stock and as of late last night my order was packed and ready to be shipped. According to Amazon, i should have it tomorrow.
Anyone here get there Wirefly order when they ran that special for $149 for the evo 3D. I put my order through amazon and im still waiting for mine and the wait is agonizing, next time ill do it through the sprint site and get mine early.
I pre ordered my Evo 3D on Thursday on Wirefly and I got it yesterday afternoon. (quite impressed) I was going to order through Amazon but they have it listed on backorder at the moment. Hopefully you'll get it soon.

I pre-ordered from sprint and called them about 8 times trying to cancel so i could pre order from wirefly. ALL of them said i cant, only until its ABOUT to ship out then i can cancel it...
6 out of 8 of them kept saying how they dont have a date but its getting to the warehouse to be packaged on may 16th.
I doubt we will get it before the 18th. It will prob ship the 16th and come 2 days later in the mail on the 18th. =/

When I called to confirm my ID for my order on Monday, he said preorders would be guaranteed delivery the day of or 1 day before the release date (depending on location). This seems to fall in line with that so I'm happy
who knows with them, just talked to my friend at the corp store on the campus and she said this to me
"Pre-order gets you out of the hassle in the store and waiting. That's about it."

Yea, I had gone into Sprint to talk to them about it and what they had said was it would arrive one day before or on the release day. However, with the iPhone 4s, they had so many pre-orders that they had arrived one day after launch day, so we will just have to wait and see.
With the Galaxy Nexus, it launched on a Sunday, and people had them in hand on Friday and Saturday. They usually do a pretty good job of trying to get them out before the official release date.
I know Best Buy and a couple other 3rd party retailers said they weren't going to release before the 18th, but I don't mind the wait. It'll give me a few more days with my EVO before I turn it into a dev phone

I am curious about this too. What i really want to know is if they will leave the package if I am not home at delivery. I would hate for it to get sent to a distribution center with weird hours and delay getting my hands on this thing.
Anyone ask sprint about this? I may call and ask a few questions if nobody did already.

No problem. Also FYI while I was on the phone with Sprint I asked about my activation fee and he initially said that I would have to pay it. I explained that I ordered through sprint even though I could have gotten the phone much cheaper through a 3rd party and I would appreciate it if they would wave the fee to help offset the cost difference. He put me on hold for 1 minute and said the activation fee has been waved.
When I pre-ordered with Sprint, all I had to pay for, besides the phone, was shipping. No sales tax and no activation fee. The only thing that upset me was they wouldn't let me upgrade my line. I'm eligible 6/1, from when I bought my 3D. They wanted me to pay full price or wait. I then told I'd upgrade another line. I was looking at my account on line and told then the phone number for my Airave. He checked the eligibility and congratulated me. I couldn't believe it.

Sprint's warehouse and shipping are all managed by UPS. Their warehouse is literally at the end of the runway where the plane takes off. My Evo 3d preorder shipped at 12:30 am and I received it the same day it went on the plane. There is a video on UPS's website about this.

Many people who pre ordered the EVO 3D received the phone before release date. I remember being jealous and wishing I ordered through sprint instead of best buy. I don't see why the LTE would be any different. I'm planning/hoping to receive the phone next Wednesday or Thursday as they typically do overnight shipping.
I have a question for you guys that got the phone from AT&T. If you ordered online (preorder or just order), how long did it take to change from processing to shipped? Mine has been saying processing for over a week and when I call they said it will probably take 21 days. What????

I ordered mine on Friday, after normal business hours, so I was really giving them until tonight before I got concerned to change their shipping status away from "Pending."
Checking my credit-card, I can see a pending charge for the phone. If it's really going to take 21 days, I'm seriously thinking of telling AT&T to cancel the order, or I'll have my bank refuse the charge.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, but sadly you can't buy the phone with no contract in the store. So this is the only way for me. Also they dont even have the 64 gb in the store so...I'm outa luck.

Nooo!!! I ordered the 64 on friday too I really don't want to wait that long.
Mine changed the next day. But I ordered the 16th and received the 19th. 64GB as well.

preordered my 64GB one through the premier store on the 4th, shipped on the 16th and arrived on the 18th.
Currently have the 32 GB one which I plan to return. I did order the 64 GB on Monday (online premier) and it also only shows "processing".
Just an update: I called and found out that the phone is backordered and will ship within 14 days. I asked why it doesn't say that or they didn't contact me, and they said they're not "required" to. Nice job AT&T. Nice job.
I'm in the same boat. 64gb ordered last Friday. Maybe this is good anyway. New stock might have the fit and finish issues worked out. Yeah I'm pissed too, but at least there might be an upside!

The reps told me the exact same thing, but i think it also depends on the warehouse if it got its shipment in, reps told me max of 3 days of waiting yesterday when i called

Yes i got an email saying my order has been shipped, But around 2 hrs after att's order site updated. Mine is being shipped via USPS

If it says it'll be there then it should be there. I have been using Amazon forever and then some and have never received a package later than estimated. More often then not my packages actually tend to show up 1 or 2 days early. Amazon is extremely reliable. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

It's shipped via UPS Next Day Air Saver, says it will arrive by 8PM. I am wondering if there's any chance it would arrive around noon.
It depends on the route. Over the last few months , what time does ups drive in your neighborhood. So give or take 1 hour.
