Hi all.
I'm using z's Freex10 Froyo since april, no problems ever.
But since yesterday something weird happened. My phone won't show at the web market anymore.
I still can browse and download from the phone's market, but looks like the web version is ignoring it.
Anyone has a clue?

guys WTF is going on here.
i got a X10a, i had x10i FW so i re-flashed back to x10a.
but now the market is gone weird, i enter my info in and it keeps coming up with "enter the letters shown to continue" i have entered them atleast 30 times now, it keeps coming up whether its right or wrong.
how can i fix this?

I have a Telstra X10a and got sick of waiting for the upgrade to come up.
So originally went to X10i. Then upgraded to Rogers 2.1 firmware for the X10a.
For me, weird things were happening like clicking call button on one person in the call log and a random person would be called or receiving calls from people 'returning' my call even though I had not called them.
For me, the only thing that's fixed it has been a total reflash and no restore. I've tried Rogers X10a as well as Generic X10a.
Things seem to be fine for now. However, still waiting on Telstra's official X10a upgrade and only then will I feel totally at ease with 2.1
So far been a hit 'n a miss. Sorry this post doesn't help much but thought I'd let you know you're not alone. Weird $hit happens on the X10a and a clean reflash seems to fix it.
i have tryed flashing about 5 times, still no luck
Try resetting your password... Worked on my friends mini after doing that
try uninstalling the updates...
Settings>applications>Manage>Market>Uninstall updates, and clear the cache too, from the same place.

Hey guys my mini started rebooting itself randomly sometimes very often ive been using the cyanogen mood for one month and it never happened but one day it just started from nothing then I pushed it back to the 2.1.... through xrecovery but the reebots didn't stop at all I tought it could be caused by adw ex then I installed it but didn't work... I formatted my sd card nothing changed.
the only difference things I've been doing with my phone since it started rebooting is using the data traffic instead of wireless because I'm away from home
using pdanet once in a while
and charging it through the charger l used to charge it through my notebook before
can one of these things cause those reboots? It's very boring

Edit: I tried the search engine again and it worked now but none solved my question so does anyone have an idea of what could be happening?

I get random reboots too.
this happens when i do a newroom rss update + ebuddy + foursqare thru wifi.
But i've had it happen when I just want to load a game too.
the phone reboots with the sony logo, then it reboots again.
usually after the 2nd or 3rd reboot. everything loads up fine again. is this the same with you?
No mine is more like Turning off itself from time to time I pushed my phone back to the SE version through SEUS and it has been like 24h and no reboots til now... I just want to make sure it's not any hardware problem or is before sending to Sony.

Hey bro,
Um well using cyanogen, it has a few problems in it, one of them being when using an app that require root if that app is closed then for some reason the device unmounts the sdcard to safely remove it. Has this happened to you before it reboots? If so then there is nothing can be done right now, you will just have to wait for Owain to fix in the next update or two of either cyanogen port.
There are other issues including issues with wifi. In my expierence, if there are some issues anywhere in software, there is bound to be more (no offence Owain you rock) so there may very well be issues with something your using or doing differently

Mine didn't turned off anymore after I reinstaled the 2.1.1.0.6 through SE too bad I'm stuck on 2.1 now =/ but I'm ok because I was scared of it being a hardware problem. Thanks god it's not

Well... I have this phone since yesterday... I plugged to the computer with Kies, and well, a update was available... now the phone have Froyo and the aesthetics changed completely, it looks awesome.
But, the phone have this ANNOYING problem that, after using it... like 5~10 minutes of no activity, when I try to use the phone again it doesnt work... doesn't respond to any button, I have to take off the battery in order to restart it and that over and over again...
I've realized also that this happens when I'm using wifi, if I left the phone with wifi on this happens, without wifi seems to work fine.
Somebody have any clue what could be? there's little information about this issue in the internet...
I think I'm going to return it but I want to try everything I can do (without voiding the warranty) since the phone was perfect for what I wanted.

Hey. I got the same problem here. It only happened a few times when I just had froyo that came stock on my galaxy 5 but I recently installed cyanogenmod 7 and now its happening everytime I put my phone down.
So I'm guessing it may be directly related to what rom is installed? I've heard about it happening a bit to people who have 2.1 installed to.
I dont know too much but it seems the only fix is to take out battery and turn on.
Sorry I can't help more. I hope somebody knows a bit more than me on this.
Think this is called something like the 'wifi sleep of death', something to do with the rom. i'd try change the rom and see if it still occurs
Thanks for the hints tho!, but I returned the phone... it seems that is a bug related to the update of the phone, since I know that with the out of the box 2.1 version it doesn't have that issue...
You know, the mobile carriers also do weird stuff to the roms... -__-
I have two consultations, actually. Hehe.
(1) I'm not really sure what happened but my XS suddenly freezes when I'm in a middle of a game perhaps or maybe doing something with an app.
It just literally freezes. I had to restart, unless it'll drain my battery with it's screen on forever.
Anybody got an idea what happened there? o_o...?
Cause I dont. Havent really touched the phone yet, I mean, I havent rooted it yet and all. So I basically have "just apps and games" here.
(2) Also, a few weeks ago, when I woke up, my phone's DEAD. WTF. I dunno how or why but I'm assuming that my phone's screen was probably on the whole night. (I've observed what happens whenever someone texts me, my phone's light doesnt seem to go off after that), and I'm so confused that I FORGOT what I actually did to solve that, but for some lame reason, it happened again a few days ago.
What was that? o_o...?

I'm betting it's something software related like an app or apps you installed causing issues.
Freezing can also be due to the device over heating while playing a game or multi tasking.
Check the apps you installed and remove anything dodgy, failing that try my post about factory resetting or restoring your device and start fresh again.
Don't forget to back up your phone book to gmail and instal the latest updates from the development section.
Failing that take the device back to the store for a replacement/fix.
