Comparing Benchmark results for different roms - Hero, G2 Touch Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, guys I just thought it would've been nice if we could compare the Benchmark results for the different roms for the HTC Hero. The best would've been if we could have the scores on a clean rom aka a rom with no apps installed (except the system apps and the Benchmark app of course).
So if you have the time and will, do a quick benchmark before you restore your apps next time you flash a new rom and post the results here Please inform which app you used to test and what CPU frequencies as well
As I'm trying to find the max score for the different roms, you can post your results for ROMs allready listed as well.
Update: If every1 could do Benchmark with max frequence 576 MHz it would've been great, makes it easier to compare
At 576 MHz:
SalsaSense RC1
Linpack single: 2.535
Linpack multi:2.811
Quadrant: 310
Antutu: 806
Floyo 1.4pre1
Linpack single: 4.206

Elelinux GB v2.7
Antutu: 776
Quadrant 359
Linpack single:4.998
Linpack multi: 3.637
Neocore: 49.8
At 710 MHz
Floyo1.4pre1
Linpack single: 5.063
Linpack multi: 4.993
Quadrant: 399
Cronos GB 710 MHz
Quadrant:449
Elelinux GB 2.7 710 MHz
antutu benchmark 863
quadrant 403
linpack single thread 4.74
linpack multi thread 4.604
neocore 52.6
At other:
Floyo 1.4pre1 691 MHz:
Linpack: 4.9
Quadrant: 370
THC Bandit 729.6 MHz:
Quadrant: 308
Neocore: 62.5
Please note that for now some of the results are from clean roms, and others with lots of apps installed. Therefore it doesn't show it the right way. However I hope that we after some time will have all the roms max performance Also note that I haven't done all these tests. I can't guarantee that the numbers here aren't random numbers who popped into someones head, so don't blame me

on my own hatc salsa port i get with :
quadrant 308
neocore (bugged) like 59.3 till 62.5

Benchmark results

I'm just wondering what good benchmark results are. I'm at 683 at 1200mhz. What are you guys getting for results?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Thats really low
Is this quadrant without lagfix at 1.2 score?
If so i get with new JI5 at 1gz no lagfix 915
And 8.3 score with linpack

I'm using king's #2 kernel. Are my numbers bad? I thought that the lower the number the better. I'm new with using benchmarks, so I really have no idea what I'm doing haha.

I got 8.4 with linpack, and 633 with long bench in the set CPU app.
i was using jacs kernel but it doesn't work with update so im stuck at 1ghz for now
Buy yea i never used setcpu to bench and with that yea lower is better.
im getting 755 with long bench
Im sure someone else will come post with similar 1.2 setup
I'm getting 622 on Long Bench in SetCPU
9.723 in Linpack
1940 in Quadrant
That's at 1200MHz on JAC's ExtremeMod with Voodoo, stock Deodexed 2.1

Your numbers are fine. Dont be too conserned with benchmark scores even though it is fun to run them from a gear head point of view...
Although if you want a bit more accuracy, run any benchmark three times and average out your total score.
My scores are, so you have an idea:
Linpack= 9.2 averaged on three runs
SetCpu= Long Bench 636 averaged on three runs
Quadrant= 1863 on three runs
*(RyanZ's lagfix has been proven to cheat Quadrant thus giving users a much higher score. example: 2300,2400 etc.)*
Running Bionix 1.5 w/Jacs OC/Voodoo kernel

how can i upgrade cpu

[Testing] Overclocking with Tegrak {SGP5}

Updated 1/17/2012
- Busy with college work until 1/20/2012, then I'll update benchmarks
- Benchmarks now much more accurate.
- Planning on including AnTutu Benchmark results! In the midst of running benchmarks, check back later for a more details !
Okay, so the Samsung Galaxy Player 5 is now supported with Tegrak's overclocking application!

ADJUSTING THE CPU CAN "POTENTIALLY" BE DANGEROUS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING BEFORE TESTING ANY CLOCKS HIGHER THAN THOSE CONFIRMED BY MYSELF OR OTHER MEMBERS. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ISSUES THAT OCCUR DUE TO OVERCLOCKING.
Read below to see what's been tested along with some benchmarks + info on each test! If you have any information you'd like to share, let me know and I'll edit it into this post!
Thanks and happy overclocking! Push it to the limit!

Well, been messing with it a little with my 4.0 U.S version, and I really don't feel good about going over 1.2 ghz, but it is cool. I would like to know how this thing scores so much higher with quadrant than the original galaxy s, even without overclock, weird. The biggest problem I experience with this is the stupid lack of ram! It is supposed to have 512, witch would be okay, but for some stupid reason it only has 300 something! Really, this thing doesn't need ovrclock, it needs more ram.
Here is the link to tegrak's guide to overclocking...

So far I've tested clocking it to 1.252GHz and it seems to raise the Quadrant score over 1000, but it gives the option to adjust the voltage and raise the cpu to 2GHz (max setting). I don't have much experience with adjusting voltage at all, so if anyone is curious and wants to try, please share! I'm hoping it runs 1.5GHz fairly stable, 1.2GHz seemed perfectly fine (and snappy! =) )
Remember, this requires a root!
Here is what I've found so far! [5 tests per clock speed per tune]
Quadrant (free) scores:
It didn't adjust the voltage when going between the 1.05 -> 1.3GHz tests, I don't know if that's bad or not.

It's strange, I can get around 1400 in quadrant without overclocking. How come your scores are so low?
great news!
I really need overclock!
Just bought ultimate version, soon I'll test it!
You have pretty low scores on Quadrant, I get 1400 stock and 2000+ at 1.3 ghz. I want to know if there is a point to overclock because I am fine with stock speed, fasters speeds would be better but it looks like the cons outweigh the pros on overclocking.

I have not tested it but doesn't SuperOneClick 2.2 (or later?) have Unroot button?
If you used supeoneclick, it has an un-root option. The others may as well, I haven't checked.

Don't return the device, i have results similar to you (about 1400 with 1,2 clock).
It may depends on backgrounding apps or something else, the important fact is that device is faster with overclock.

Er I meant return it for a new one haha, I'm still under the return thing until Jan 21st (or so) with Bestbuy. And if others are getting 1400 stock and near 2000 oc'd, I'd assume there is something wrong with the hardware =( I just hope that kind of thing will work with the "Geek Squad" or if they'll just laugh at me.

I've understood, quadrant is not Bible, it give just indications.
Now i'm testing 1.3 Ghz and 1.375 V (so overvolt) , very fast and no freezes.
Does it work with my french SGS wifi 4.0?
I've just tried : yes, it works.
1524 : my first Quadrant with 1152 MHz.
wow
I had mine up to 1.5ghz... Ran smooth but obly had it thre for like 10 minutes... Ran like tow benches. 1st was 1997 second was 2019. It didnt heat up or anything, but i would prefer not to burn out my chip. Only reason I went so high is because the galaxy s has been clocked to 1.6 .
I think at 1.5 i could max at 2200-2300 with the stock rom. I got 1400 stock... Yp-g70
Well, here is some undervolting results I got:
Mhz - CPU volt - Internal volt
- 100mhz 750 mv 770 mv
- 200mhz 780 mv 870 mv
- 400mhz 870 mv 870 mv
- 800mhz 1020 mv 940 mv
- 1000mhz 1090 mv 940 mv
Maybe this values are useful for someone.
I tried 1.5GHz and it seemed to make the Android notification bar lag, what did you change your voltages to?
* Double post, idk how to delete it >_>

Xperia Mini ST15i Overclocking Stats and Questions

Hi there XDA Community! I'm new here ... but readed some topics. I hope this is in the right category.
I first want to say thanks for al devs and for their Tutorials, Kernels, Roms, Themes, Scripts and others
So, I made this post for anyone who would want to do OC to his Xperia Mini ST15i ( Smultron ).
I have here some results, with details ... but a question too.
Kernel: Panic Kernel with addons + 3D JB Adreno Drivers
ROM: HyperbeamCream 3.0 + Some Pimp My Rom tweaks
I did some benchmarks with different OCs... but also with different Kernel and... actually ... ROM:
Kernel: Mini Kernel that came with Ginger Extreme ( I think ... EDIT: I think it was Rage Kernel ... but not sure ) ... Which support OC at Max 2GHZ and Voltage settings ( Now, I thinks this is a must )
ROM: GingerExtreme ( Tweaked with Pimp My Rom and Supremacy Script v3 )
1200 mAh
1017 Mhz ~ near 1400 Score in AnTuTu Benchmark ( Only CPU and RAM )
RAM: 362 points
CPU Integer: 732 points
CPU float-points: 322 points
1200 mAh
1113 Mhz
RAM: 380 points
CPU Integer: 781 points
CPU float-points: 339 points
1200 mAh
1209 Mhz
RAM: 413 points
CPU Integer: 864 points
CPU float-points: 374 points
1200 mAh
1305 Mhz
RAM: 456 points
CPU Integer: 918 points
CPU float-points: 400 points
1200 mAh
1401 Mhz
RAM: 483 points
CPU Integer: 969 points
CPU float-points: 429 points
1250 mAh ( Don't know why ... even if I modified the value, it still was stuck at 1250 )
1516 Mhz ~ Over 2000 points in AnTuTu Benchmark ( Onlu CPU and RAM )
RAM: 512 points
CPU Integer: 1064 points
CPU float-points: 437
Now, I also did some OC with this ROM and Kernel ... was different ( in some ways .. but, at 1.6 Ghz I got scared... in 3D Benchmark the screen got a green color ... :-? , still, no damage on my phone, and I think it wasn't overheated ... )
Panic Kernel + HyperbeamCream ( as said at begin )
???? mAh
1401 Mhz
RAM: 526 points
CPU Integer: 1030 points
CPU float-points: 437 points
Also got near 83 FPS in 2D Graphics and 60 FPS in 3D
Then ... after the problem with 3D Test ( Now I think it was a misunderstanding but still ... )
???? mAh
1612 Mhz - 2197 AnTuTu Score ( Only CPU and RAM )
RAM:574 points
CPU Integer: 1137 points
CPU float-points: 486 points
Now ... Got some questions ... I think my battery is 1200 mAh ... it would cause damage to run an OC with more than 1200 mAh? I'm not sure about this ...
Anyone Knows there an ICS ROM that support voltage modification ?
I searched on Google, Youtube, XDA, and Didn't found very much documentation on Xperia Mini ST15i Overclocking ... so I'm posting these here for anyone interested ... even, a general topic about that, would be good.
Also played NFS Most Wanted 2 on my 1.5 OC GingerExtreme, it was running very smooth ... I think it had around 30 FPS ... even when I was near opponents, the FPS didn't drop!
