I'm new to this. I just got my streak and wanted to know more about it. Does anyone know when the 2.2 update will be out and to update it do I just go to settings and about device. Is it better to get the dell att version or one from this forum. Thanks all for the help.

Ok guys so I've been off the forum for a while since im a truck driver and haven't had time to play around with things. So my question is simple I did a clean restore and updated to the new OTA update. Is there a root mod yet for this because I really want to get my webtop hack back and install backtrack 5 on here.
I've look through the dev posts but since all the new break through our wonderful devs have performed im kinda lost on what's what and for what mods and firmware.

For anyone interested attached is the Zumocast app from Motorola. I was able to get it working on my vibrant running Miui. Its awesome and im really enjoying it.
Dev's if this is against forum rules please let me know and i will take this thread down.
This app allows you to stream music, videos, picutres, just about anything from your computer. try it out and let me know what you think.

Hello everyone,
I need your help!
I currently have a Samsung Vibrant (T-Mobile). That is rooted and it has ICS Passion 13.1
I've used it for a while and so far I like it but here is the problem. Few of the apps that I've paid for have me "banned" from their servers, since my IMEI/MEID its generic, and they don't trust/support rooted devices due to "security issues". Is there a way to have my phone unrooted but at the same time to use ICS, or is there a an easier way to fix that?

You might be able to use PDroid to fake them out with a random or specific IMEI.

As for not being rooted on ics, im not sure,perhaps you can delete superuser?

I just installed the xda android app. But I can't seem to find the samsung mesmerize section. Figure fascinate section might be able to help.
Anywho: I have a US cellular Mesmerize. Im trying to find information if its possible to unlock and use the phone on straight talk network.
It seems its pretty easy task as far as the att and verizon versions are concerned. But I'm not having much luck with getting information on the mesmerize. And help or links would be greatly appreciated.
