So, earlier today, I purchased this game because I saw the news story about it on Android Central. Played for about 15 mins, and then the game started locking up. Of course, I was past the refund window, and now the game is completely gone from the market on Evo 3D.
The developer also updated the description later with "HTC EVO 3D and Sensation are excluded ! Game is not running properly on them and its not bug in the game. Sorry about it."
Therefore, I believe I was ripped off...and my question is...what can I do about this?
Call sprint and let them know, they will refund it more then likely.

Yes, if it doesn't work then they will do it considering it just goes on your sprint bill. It shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Unfortunately, I can't purchase it even temporarily to test it. Both my devices don't show it in the market and market.android.com says it's incompatible. Since it's commercial unless I can purchase it that's it folks. No, I won't request the APK from a XOOM user or the like if anyone is curious.

I'm runnin CM7.1 with Glitch kernel ML and I was able to get the game and got the 378mb of additional data downloaded I messed around with chainfire for a bit and in the end........ it's a no go
It looks awesome and I hope someone develops a way to run this with Chainfire cuz I'm not smart enough to do it myself
Tegra2 specific games are REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME THE **** OFF.
There's NO GOOD GODDAMNED REASON for these games to not run on any other chipset except for nVidia's $$$s. It makes me ashamed to have an nVidia GPU in my PC.
Edit: I went and told off Southpeak Games on Facebook. I will not EVER be buying any of their games.

Ok new thread. Postive feedback posts about the evo3d. While I was at mall with the wife I stopped at the iphone store to check out the iphone 4 and compared it to my evo3d needless to say it was no comparison at all. I had the apple rep in awe even when I was on mobile I totally smashed the iPhone in ever aspect. When I went on wifi the rep put his little I can't do anything phone away and asked to check out mine. Of course Im like no. No one touches the evo3d but me. I did go on to show him I was over clocked and that the 3d was an added bonus even though I used it all but like 4 times. Also showed him the evo3d has flash. He was shocked. I think he might be headed towards a sprint store lol. Just wanted to share. Also the screen size is way smaller than what I thought. On tv it always looked bigger, but its so tiny compared to my superior phone. And I see my thread got removed "bummer" but a it was fun while it lasted. Thanks to all who posted postive feedback about the evo3d. Gotta love xda.

I'm liking this phone. Gotten a bit more out of it with the "perm-temp" root. Wont be perfect until I can flash stuff (will also make theming a hell of a lot easier for myself).
How did the quality of the EVO's 3d screen compare to the iPhone. Not talking about size. Would like to know if it makes our screen look dated or if the EVO had it's own.

Me to. I just keep checking for that magical day when I log on and see its a go for sure. Also looking forward to your themes man. And I did the permatemp root and it made this phone superior to ever other phone I had. I also left the house for church at 10:am running oc @ 1.8. After church hit the mall with the wife and wished I was somewhere else but I checked out my Facebook, checked email, sent a few, sent a over a 100 text easily, stopped at the iPhone store, talked to my family for about 20/25 min made a few more calls,and took about 11 or 12 photos and when I got home which is when I posted this thread my battery was still at 52%. To me that's great battery life to be oc @ 1.8

My bad thought I should have mentioned that. Man the evo3d held up great. On some photos on the iphone looked better at first. And some looked better on the 3d. But then we blu toothed the exact pics to the opposite phone and the results were the same IMO. The iPhone screen was nice but its no qhd. The rep was even shocked at the 3d picture quality. Only thing I had to adjust was the brightness on the 3d because under that store light which I think is fluorescent I was seeing myself in the pics. On websites the 3d out performed it hands down I can say. On the iPhone websites look small for one and blurry. I cleaned my glasses off and the both phone screens and same thing the rep told me after you have the phone for a while it looks normal. My reply was mine wins.

Come to think of it your absolutely right. I haven't seen a evo3d commercial in a while. I wonder why?? I agree is awsome. And I thought I read someone was able to get ad free working?? I could be wrong though. And themes would be oh so an lovely bonus. Id love to have Hc3d,Darkhorse and Black funk off top. And I wish I knew how how to make the stock msg app have a black background. That would be smooth to me.

I haven't seen a single Sensation commerical but have seenan HTC EVO 3D commercial pretty much everyday (and I don't watch any TV other than Netflix). I went to Sonny's yesterday (was great btw) and they had 4 TVs all showing the same channel and guess what I noticed when I glanced over? An Htc EVO 3D commercial .
P.S. I'm in Florida, Sprint heavily advertises everywhere. Last Sunday I saw a movie and the previews showed the 3D commercial.

Yea sprint does advertise in florida heavily...everytime i go to my local movie theater...sprint advises me politly to turn my phone to silent mode...but in my head i was like yea biotches sprint the shiznit! Lol jk

We have carmike cinema's in Wisconsin a yeah almost all sprint I think they have a few for Verizon when Verizon had the "pirates quest" app or w.e

All the theaters in CA have sprint commercials. On TV ive seen sensation ads everyday but only once for 3vo. Last movies I saw in the theater were in may so no 3vo commercials. September cant come quick enough HTC! Team win please please please get it done sooner

So my 4yr old was playing spiderman today and he always asks for help, so of course I help. I notice he's on a part I haven't seen before. Usually he can play until the first boss then it wants you to purchase the full version, blah blah blah. So I can't figure how I have the full version now. I certainly didn't buy it. I checked gameloft site and said forgot password and it don't have an account under my email. You can also check your downloads using your phone number and no downloads exist.
Now I know you're probably going to laugh and say if I didn't pay wtf am I questioning something free? It's just the fact I have no clue how I have the full version and its bugging the **** out of me. LOL I know I'm crazy or ocd I guess.
Well if you get charged for it we will know what happened. Otherwise it's a gift from the 3d gods.

Yeah probably your kid. You can either bill the account or the card on file (usually). Keep an eye out for a random charge.
I bought Asphalt from them and gameloft charged my sprint account saw it on the next phone bill.
Actually...it's funny that you mention this because the same exact thing happened to a Co worker of mine. He was playing the trial version and somehow the game didn't stop him like it normally did after the first round, it let him keep playing and we were both laughing about it but it just let him play the full version somehow and he didn't buy the game , we both work for sprint he didn't see anything on his bill either for Gameloft...seems like it was a gift from the 3d God's afterall

Ok, so I just checked my bill and there is indeed a $4.99 charge from gameloft(little **** must have bought it). When I check gameloft site using my phone number it doesn’t show any downloads. It doesn’t recognize my email address either.
If I remove the game how will gameloft know I actually paid for it?

Same here...tried to get it for about 5 minutes and then realized it's not worth my time anymore. Came back here to ***** about Gameloft's crap site. Go to the site on your mobile device and it's not even optimized for mobile browsers. Stupid company.
I purchased Lets Golf2 so my kid would have a decent game to play when I need to keep her occupied lol. I went through the "enter your model" steps and paid via paypal ... transaction was successful. However when I click on the download button i get a message that some sai.sprintinstaller.com or something is currently unavailable. Did i do something wrong? Could this be because my phone is rooted and running a custom rom? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am running Viper Rom but have removed extra stuff that viperboy left in it ... i bet thats my problem.
Any idea how come when i go to buy a app for 99cents, I go to pay on Bill, it says it can't process it so I got to pay with my pay pal, and it says its charging me the full $4.99! If I continue with the buy will it change to 99cents?

I bought the EVO 3D because I'm fascinated by it. I guess I still haven't outgrown it yet.
I like watching movies in 3D. I like playing games in 3D. I taking pictures in 3D.
The reason I have not flashed a current rom with the ICS leak is I don't want to lose any of the 3D features. Its the sole reason I bought this phone. Turge's KingCobra 2.4 is about the best it gets before things start failing. I'm sticking with it at least until there is an official update of ICS and everything in 3D works.
Anyway, what is the future of 3D as far as HTC is concerned?

They've given up on 3D... I woundn't expect any more 3D content except just having 3D working in future updates.
Also, the 3.6 leaks have 3D fully working.

This might make the EVO 3D more valuable in the future.
I remember using my Audiovox SMT 5600 at work. I could leave it on my desk and walk anywhere in the factory up to 400 feet and the Bluetooth headset would still receive just fine.
Most, if not all of today's phones only broadcast up 30 to 40 feet.
I guess my point is that sometimes abandoning a feature is not always a good thing.

I still see people posting that certain games won't work in 3D and 3D you tube videos won't play in 3D and some movies won't in play in 3D mode using stock player.
I'm going to wait a little longer.
As far as Facebook, Google, SMS, Twitter or any of those bugs. I can live without all that. So that is fine.

I bought mine outright on Ebay awhile back. I just use a prepaid GSM ATT card. No Contract. I just checked Ebay and prices have not dropped at all. They are still selling new at between $350.00 - 400.00.
Can you tell where to pick up a couple at $150.00?

First of all, you have 12 sons? That seems like a feat in itself. Also, you should have put "The 3D *function* is a* gimmick; only my 12 *year old* son enjoys it."
Also, while you might not like the 3D, that is no reason to put down others who enjoys it. By your above statement, you are implying that those who enjoy the 3D function are immature; this statement is clearly untrue. While it is true that many people get headaches from watching movies or playing games in 3D, that is no reason to insult the ones who don't. So please, if you can't state your point in a less insulting manner, don't say anything at all.

No on sprint you can't get the 3d anymore as it is no longer sold 150 is for the sprint version through other users no clue about gsm versions

I'm proud to say that I've never owned any Apple product and I hope I never will.
Been an HTC fan for a long long time. I am a Microsoft fan also. Although I don't think I'm going with windows 8. I probably will become a full blown Ubuntu user after they stop supporting Windows 7. (which will probably be a long time from now).

Thanks! sort of proves my suspicions that it should make the phone worth more now that its off the market. People who want this 3D feature and can't get it would pay more for it.
I would absolute love to pick up two or three new GSM phones at $150.00 each. I don't think that's possible.
If someone has a link to these prices, please post it. I am sure there are some dealers out there who would love to unload such an unpopular phone.
Kind of reminds me of when I tried to purchase a Volkswagon Golf with a Diesel engine. The dealership told me that no one wants a Diesel engine. I said ok fine then you should be anxious to get rid of them. He said it would cost me an extra $5,000.00 to get it with a Diesel engine. Make any sense to you?

Now we have a device that fits in your shirt pocket that will play the latest movies in HD 3D and people say oh its a gimmick. Only an immature 12 year old would be interested in such a thing.
