Anyone know if there are any sense 3.0 skins for the EVO 3D in the works? Perhaps any from the Sensation that can be ported as they are both running the same sense 3.0..? I know the skins for the older sense would work for the thunderbolt and other devices alike like the desire HD.

correct. I have seen them in the past for the Desire HD and it was a simple APK install and added them to the same place that it ads from the HTC hub. Would love to have a transparent dock. Especially since I remember seeing one on a review EVO 3D video but it never shipped on it.

I made one for 3.0 to see if i could or not.... I have some I created for older sense that are on the market. Steelers one and such, but sense 3.0 has got me stuck on the navbar. I found, edited and installed a custom skin on my EVO 3d, but i cannot locate the navbar png to edit it. I think its in the m10 file but i can't seem to decompile it. Basically I've successfully made a skin for sense 3.0, but i can't change navbar png. All others I have been able to.

Are you able to make one with a modded rosie? I would love a skin that is basically stock just with the semi transparent rosie as pictured in the post above. A semi transparent black status bar would be awesome too but... I'd be happy with the rosie and I would be happy to donate to the cause.
Definitely waiting on custom skins. Once they start coming, we'll have so many options to give our 3vo's a more personal touch.
I CAN do transparent status bar, but the rosie... I cannot locate the image in skin files to edit. I believe it is in an m10 file somewhere. It's not where it was in the sense 2.0 roms

Without root, the only way for us to theme is through skins. So I'm doing my best to get some done. But its pointless to me if i can't change the rosie (aka navbar.png). That's like the most important one. And i can't find the damn image in the apks !

I have skins for sense 2.0 in the market. Search "Vasilisin" and u will see my work.... I just wish i could figure out the navbar for this sense 3.0. Grrrrr

There is a way to customize it, but i can't find the image in any if the skins I've decompiled. I need to find it to edit it. If we can find it then we can edit it. So for instance when u apply music lover the dock changes. If i can find that image in musiclover apk i can make it whatever we want and TADA !! lol

Nope. No sense 3.0 skins do. In assets there is a drawable musiclover then shared.m10. It HAS to be in there. Where the heck else would it be. I mean it HAS to be in the music lover apk somewhere. It was in sense 2.0 like ur saying

Edit: and FYI I used mode10 and looked in that m10 file.. no png found. All .dat files.
Are there skins that change the notification bar available now? I use LPP, so I don't care about the rosie. But I hate that green battery icon

We can only change color or transparency of the statusbar. Can't change icons like battery without root.

I don't know if anyone has had a chance to look at the video of the HTC evo 3d, but I think the launcher is awesome, especially the carousel like view of the screens when you scroll through.

I havent watched the video but if its simply a launcher then it may only require the apk. We wont know definitively until a ROM dump is made.

HTC Sense launchers are no a simple apk. They are fundamentally tied to and reliant upon the Sense framework. There cannot be a real true port without porting the Sense rom itself.

if you want to sense ui dock from the evo 3d, u need to make the dock semi transparent with photoshop by editing the files in rosie.apk and com.htc.resources.apk. I did and I found a wallpaper that looks like the one in the evo 3d picture it looks just like evo 3d.
looks exactly like SPB Mobile Shell on my old Windows Mobile 6.1 HTC Touch Diamond.
not sure how they get away with that, lol.

Here's most of the HTC wallpapers if that's what you mean. I think the one they use in the Evo 3D pictures is the blue smoke one.

Typically, this is true, but I'm willing to bet, if motivated enough, someone will be able to do it. Look at all that JsChiSurf has been able to accomplish with Sense apks on the HTC EVO. That guy has been able to 'un-tie' a lot of the Sense apks (such as messanger, contacts, etc...).
I think it comes with the HTC Sense which by the way is cool and sexy.
Does anybody know if it would be polssible to run the default Android launcher, or will we have to wait for an AOSP port?

Following this request by coupetastic-droid, I've made the mod attached.
Thanks to this reference by Paul627g, that helped me to avoid testing phase (I initially made the mod by attempting to shrink the clock area to 0 width, but it didn't work so well - and then found the mentioned reference).
The mods were made for:
Virtuous Unity 1.29 and below
Virtuous Unity 2.35 and above (can most probably be flashed on 2.33 BETA as well)
Virtuous Doubleshot 1.1.5
Sense 3.5 R_type 1.0 (Runnymede)
You can attempt to flash this on other Gingerbread Sense ROMs, but remember to back up the ROM and restore if the mod doesn't work.
oh yeah! this is going to make the status bar much more cleaner. specially when other mods are added. ill post screenies of mine later.
all I need now is the 4g icon that I still can't get to work with the transperant pulldown.

Is thr a way to backup-restore d original clock?
Copy your /system/app/SystemUI.apk and save it somewhere, place it back in /system/app/ if you want the clock back.
Jack, is it possible to get this mod updated for bliss and runnymede?
I'm running rafy's runnymede rom and would like to remove the clock out of this one as well.

Sorry, got the same results. Looks like I can't decompile the APK properly - apktool shows warnings, that are probably the reason for the failure you saw.

How can you rebuild fusion.apk or any other sense apk? I didnt think m10 tools worked on sense 3.5 yet?

You can replace the m10 file of a Sense3.5 theme and replace it with a m10 file from a sense 3.0 theme and it will work. Only thing that won't get skinned is the Rosie launcher. I've done this and has worked on my Sensation.

That won't work on the Rezound. I've been at it all day and that method only works on Sensation and EVO 3D. Trust me guys, Fusion.apk which leads to Clock MODS, Lock Ring, Rosie Home/Rosie Lock CANNOT be themed right now until Diamondback releases the tool for it. For those who haven't a clue who Diamondback is or Flemmard, and HAVEN'T donated yet, I strongly recommend giving them thanks or spare a small donation to these guys. We wouldn't be able to theme any HTC Fusion.apk's without their work.

There was a widget on the market meant for sense 3.0. It was an exact duplicate of the original except the inverted colors, and a slightly lighter background. I will search for it, its sweet!

There isn't one from what I've seen. You have to take some of the images from resource, framework, rosie, and systemUI and add them to a skin.
I've got why I think is pretty close posted on my skins thread but I can't guarantee it's perfect

most of the time going with bluesky or burgandy or the likes should suffice as a clean base...

You want to start with the m10 editing tool for pc, and then take apart
fusion.apk
Make sure you click decode images... Everything in textures is the skin...
