How can you rebuild fusion.apk or any other sense apk? I didnt think m10 tools worked on sense 3.5 yet?
Is there something else that will help theming of sense 3.5?
You can replace the m10 file of a Sense3.5 theme and replace it with a m10 file from a sense 3.0 theme and it will work. Only thing that won't get skinned is the Rosie launcher. I've done this and has worked on my Sensation.

That won't work on the Rezound. I've been at it all day and that method only works on Sensation and EVO 3D. Trust me guys, Fusion.apk which leads to Clock MODS, Lock Ring, Rosie Home/Rosie Lock CANNOT be themed right now until Diamondback releases the tool for it. For those who haven't a clue who Diamondback is or Flemmard, and HAVEN'T donated yet, I strongly recommend giving them thanks or spare a small donation to these guys. We wouldn't be able to theme any HTC Fusion.apk's without their work.

There was a widget on the market meant for sense 3.0. It was an exact duplicate of the original except the inverted colors, and a slightly lighter background. I will search for it, its sweet!

Anyone know if there are any sense 3.0 skins for the EVO 3D in the works? Perhaps any from the Sensation that can be ported as they are both running the same sense 3.0..? I know the skins for the older sense would work for the thunderbolt and other devices alike like the desire HD.

correct. I have seen them in the past for the Desire HD and it was a simple APK install and added them to the same place that it ads from the HTC hub. Would love to have a transparent dock. Especially since I remember seeing one on a review EVO 3D video but it never shipped on it.

I made one for 3.0 to see if i could or not.... I have some I created for older sense that are on the market. Steelers one and such, but sense 3.0 has got me stuck on the navbar. I found, edited and installed a custom skin on my EVO 3d, but i cannot locate the navbar png to edit it. I think its in the m10 file but i can't seem to decompile it. Basically I've successfully made a skin for sense 3.0, but i can't change navbar png. All others I have been able to.

Are you able to make one with a modded rosie? I would love a skin that is basically stock just with the semi transparent rosie as pictured in the post above. A semi transparent black status bar would be awesome too but... I'd be happy with the rosie and I would be happy to donate to the cause.
Definitely waiting on custom skins. Once they start coming, we'll have so many options to give our 3vo's a more personal touch.
I CAN do transparent status bar, but the rosie... I cannot locate the image in skin files to edit. I believe it is in an m10 file somewhere. It's not where it was in the sense 2.0 roms

Without root, the only way for us to theme is through skins. So I'm doing my best to get some done. But its pointless to me if i can't change the rosie (aka navbar.png). That's like the most important one. And i can't find the damn image in the apks !

There is a way to customize it, but i can't find the image in any if the skins I've decompiled. I need to find it to edit it. If we can find it then we can edit it. So for instance when u apply music lover the dock changes. If i can find that image in musiclover apk i can make it whatever we want and TADA !! lol

Nope. No sense 3.0 skins do. In assets there is a drawable musiclover then shared.m10. It HAS to be in there. Where the heck else would it be. I mean it HAS to be in the music lover apk somewhere. It was in sense 2.0 like ur saying

oh haha I didn't even realize this was your thread, the same person that messaged me. But maybe so you could get exactly what you want you could try out the UOT Kitchen.
Just want to get a view of interest if this theme would be wanted by anyone. I loved it and built it right before the 3.5 craze.
Like stated in rader3bravos thread sense stuff cant be themed, but if your using an alt launcher it would work.

yup its nice, but i wish someone would make a rom and theme which make the phone really stand out tech wise. Would love things like the snapshot picture or video which shows on cover of album for pics or vids, or even ont he widget on desktop to actually play life preview as the snapshot your hovering over, or make everything all techy and extremely futuristic if you know what i mean

Meaning new png's from Sense 3.0. There are at least 50 +, png's that need to be resized. There's also entirely new png's I've never themed before. It's going to take some time to get it fully themed.

There isn't one from what I've seen. You have to take some of the images from resource, framework, rosie, and systemUI and add them to a skin.
I've got why I think is pretty close posted on my skins thread but I can't guarantee it's perfect

You want to start with the m10 editing tool for pc, and then take apart
fusion.apk
Make sure you click decode images... Everything in textures is the skin...

You can't.
We don't have the "M10 Editor" for Sense 3.6 publicly available to edit .m10 files in Sense 3.6 which contains the .pngs for the dock bar.
The chinese new year theme has it themed because HTC developed that themselves and they have all the tools to do it

Aww crap >.< Why didn't HTC just make it easy and put it in a normal .png in Rosie.apk... also explains why I couldn't decompile the .m10 from the CNY theme properly.

It does for code edits such as size visability that's if your know m10 code but images are not available to the general public yet.

Exactly. The m10 editor available can only edit sense 3.0 m10 images as of right now, which is why we can't theme the dock or 4x1 clock.

Well I'm not sure about the dock but m10 tools does work for sense 3, 3.5, and 3.6.. haven't tried tried sense 4 tho

heres a run down for the mentally challenged .
sense 3.6 images can NOT be decoded in any shape or form with the current tools available to the average joe.
what you may have done, seen done or looked at on here is what we call a dirty hack where we pull files from a decompiled sense 3.0 skin/fusion and push into the sense 3.whatever.
hence the reason no dock bar music widget and various other missing pieces of the jigsaw
so if you have been theming a long time you would of known this unless you have kanged someone elses shi* then you would be none the wiser.

Honestly, I don't need to explain to you anything but I'll see if it's possible for ur small brain to get it.. if you read what I said before I stated that I haven't changed the dock bar.. but if you think it's impossible to change any other images inside of m10 then I'm not the one who's mentally challenged.. do I need to make a video for you so you can understand? Do you need a tutorial? If you open m10 tools you can decompile a sense skin (3.0, 3.5, 3.6) m10 file and DECODE IMAGES! then in textures you can view the pngs, right click and view in explorer.. from there you can pull pngs, then edit and/or replace .. once done you can recompile the skin, and zipalign it all using m10 tools! Then sign the skin and install.
Don't kno what's so unbelievable about this.. I've made many skins for people and even have a post for a sense 3.5 skin using m10 tools.. I've given you a full beginner friendly tutorial so if you still don't believe me or can't get it, then ur a true noob and the joke is truly on you.

Well for diamondback, sense 4 skins are the ones that I couldn't decode images for, but that's besides the point. I'm not talking about virtual ten anyway.
I've taken legit skins from the market of sense 3.5 and 3.6 and have modded them.. even if you ur right about 'injected' to 3.6 the point is that the whole point is how to edit sense 3.6 skins and the answer is YES, IT CAN BE DONE!! a person with sense 3.6 can edit and enjoy personally made skins! Done, end of story .. it doesn't matter how it is done, it only matters than it 'can' be done.

that is correct but you are trying to tell me you can edit the images in a sense 3.6 skin .
please tell me how to do that with the latest m10 tool which infact is vts.
im telling you you can not edit the images in 3.6 .for one the images are mostly type14 which the latest m10 tools does not decode only as a messed up image.
im telling as the others did you can only edit sense 3.0 files .and place them into a 3.6 skin.even though you put them into the skin it doesnt make them 3.6 files

The legit skins from the market are sense 3.6 skins with the shared m10 from sense 3.0 hence no dock. U have just turned around what you originally said. Fact is m10 3.6 image files cannot be decompiled.

Ok my two pennies here you can not i repeat cant mod the dock bar on a 3.6 or any images from a htc made 3.6 skin unless you have a copy of the beta vts(which i highly doubt you do). And i and a few others in here have 3.6 skins in the market and none have modded docks, why you ask cause we're not harry potter or david Copperfield.

As has been explained the "legit" skins on the market aren't actually sense 3.6 m10 images. How those work is this: we pulled the shared.m10 file from a sense 3.0 fusion or skin (which are editable with m10/VTS) and literally overwrote the one that was in the 3.6 skin. Therefore these appear as a 3.6 skin (even though it's technically a mix or 3.6 drawables and 3.0 m10).
As an fyi, the guys you have been challenging in here ARE where some of those market skins came from. There's a couple other Recognized Themers from xda who publish skins on the market, here's a list so you know:

Those are just a few of the ones I know. The method to do this mix of a 3.6 and 3.0 skin was discovered by jeffsanace and mcluvn, they shared with the rest of us. Hopefully that effectively explains things.
In the future, when 4 Recognized Themers tell you something about themes, it's likely they know what they're talking about. Furthermore, rather than assuming you are correct and arguing, if you listen and ask questions, you will learn great things here on xda. All of the people who just came down on you, I know to be VERY helpful guys, and they would tell you how to do things if you didn't know, or explain how things work.

Wth I got everyone going crazy lol.. look someone needed help with skins and I simply provided that you can edit personal skins using m10 tools.. how it is done is irrelevant, whether its combining 3.0 m10 files with sense 3.5 or 3.6 is irrelevant! I'm on sense 3.6 and do basically whatever I want as far as editing my own skins and that's the whole point.. if I asked for help with something I wouldn't care how my question got answered as long as it worked I'd be happy.. can't believe the maturity level of everyone's responses lol.. especially from well known developers, lol wow guys

And i and a few others in here have 3.6 skins in the market and none have modded docks, why you ask cause we're not harry potter or david Copperfield.
