my weather clock animation suddenly stopped working after applying a different skin, worked fine earlier, all of a sudden it stopped, tried removing widget and adding back but still no luck, any help is greatly appreciated
Have you applied the OTA. If I'm not mistaken the ota fixes an issue with lockscreen. I applied mine, check settings, then system updates, and then HTC software update.

I backed up my phone with Titanium Backup before replacing my phone. After restoring, none of the lockscreen customizations are working. The only thing that changes when I try changing lockscreens in the personalization menu is the wallpaper. I've tried reinstalling all backed up files relating to Sense and the lockscreen, and yanking the battery, but nothing works. Does anyone know what might be wrong? I'd prefer not having to clean boot. Thanks.
Have you you done the otas?

Yeah, I did that. I ended up doing a factory reset and it's good again.
guys, i was trying to install synergy rom and when i got all booted up, i noticed my clock with weather would not find weather information. then i noticed the buttons were gone from the lockscreen. the same thing happened when i flashed clean rom. anyone know what could cause this?
It is the same with me on Synergy.
Has anyone figured this out?
this happened to me after installing a theme. continues after switching roms if i don't wipe everything and do a clean install. have you flashed a theme or mod?
So the Phone app and Icon disappeared from my lockscreen and app drawer, but there are no updates found when I do the check. So is there a way I can manually apply the update or is there another fix?
I'm on Infected ROM.
What was the last thing you were doing? Did u just flash anything or do anything unusual?

This happened to me after rooting my phone. Had to run the ruu to get it back and have been fine ever since.
I've had wave launcher on my phone since gingerbread, now I'm on I'VE and everytime I try to open the app itself to change some settings, it keeps giving me the message that it stopped working. Although it works when restoring my backup from titanium after restarting. I have no idea why I'm not being able to launch it through app drawer.
Anyone else having this problem?

Tried reinstalling manually? Clear dalvik and fix permissions?
Yeah, I've done all of those. I don't know what's up with it

Maybe it's having compatibility issues with ICS? I saw a comment on the app (not that we can really take those as gospel) from a gnex user saying it wasn't playing nice with ics.

yeah probably. Seeing that it was last updated last year in September. Oh well, hopefully it gets fixed somehow

Good developers reply to emails from play store. That's how I got MadMaxx over here for 4ext. If you really like the launcher, and since its a paid app, an email may be worth a shot

This is completely out of topic...
So, you're the one bringing the guy who made the 4ext to this forum?? OMG. you're as cool as a glacier dude
I have never email any developer through play store at all... lol. i guess I should try it when I got a problem XD
I have the same problem in my Galaxy SII with official ICS 4.0.3, the first times the app is active and I could go to the settings from the notification shortcut but when the app closed i couldn't opened anymore because when I try to open from the app drawer (that is the only way to active because the shortcut in the notification isn't there) it's always giving me force close.
The first times the wave is active when i restarted the phone because it was configured to open in startup but after two or three restarts it didn't activated anymore.
I tried everything I have installed all previous versions of wave launcher and the only that didn't give this problem is the 1.5 version but this version doesn't support widgets.
I don't understand why such a great application didn't receibed an update in 9 month, I hope the developer isn't dead
Sorry for my english.
I'm from Uruguay.
The only problem i had was the app would force close when launching from the drawer. So what i did was, i cleared the data, restarted and started from scratch again. of course the app still force closes when launching from the drawer and before, i hid the notification icon so there was no way to get to settings. Now its back and everything is working exept the only problem o had before, i have changed the settings and the apps i wanted to put are there. I can access it from the notication easily.

Have you tried Swipepad? I remember it being similar with Wave Launcher.... It even has more shortcut available (up to 12 I think)
I haven't used it for a couple months after resetting my phone though. So, I don't know if it works with ICS
waved launcher force close on ics
Me too.. ref: v1.8.1
Same force close problems.. Once I managed to get it up & running (that was the first & last).
Now I can't even get it to install, "unfortunately wave launcher has stopped"..
YES DELICATELY NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ICS (like most fancy launchers like ultimate faves pro
I rooted yesterday using this method (which had me rooted in less than 5 minutes, no problems at all)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1819660
Then i decided to purchase ROM toolbox pro to change up the font and other icons. The fonts worked fine but once i tried changing the battery icon it wouldn't change to the new one after boot. Instead it would show the new circular icon (which is the one i wanted) then fade into the battery icon i didnt want. So after trying to change the icon i decided i didnt want to keep it rooted so i used Ginger Unroot. Once it rebooted i noticed that the animation i had changed when it boots was still playing even though i had supposedly unrooted.
I used rootchecker to check if i was still rooted perhaps and its showing that my phone is no longer rooted but the font i had switched to is still there and so is that battery icon, as well as the animation and other icons i had changed.
So now i dont know if my phone is rooted or not and im not able to reroot using the same method as above anymore because during the process it says "device not found".
My question is i guess, what can i do to just go back to stock but still save my apps and data or can i reroot some other way so that the icons can go back to stock and i can start over fresh.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Unrooting wont undo the changes you made when rooted. Unrooting will simply remove root access. What version is your phone?

Did you back up anything prior to changing it?

Not that I can remember. I really just want to be able to change the status bar notifications because they seem unsettled. I get 'ghost' icons alot and have to drag down the bar so they can appear normal again.
So I've tried some of the theme's on google play that are compatible for cm10.1 but seems like after I apply they eventually cause the system to malfunction (navbar not showing then reappearing, hot reboot). Just wanted to know if anyone found any theme's that stick with no problem? I'm currently on the new aokp rom but this happens with the original cm10.1 rom as well. Thnx in advance.
