Random vibrate? - HTC EVO 3D

I turned off all vibrate settings but I get random vibrate incoming calls. I tried phone right side up, face down, no ideas.

I've noticed this too but it seems to happen at certain battery level intervals. Not sure if it's just meant to warn me and I'm missing a message on the screen at the time or what.

My battery is full. I had my wife test call me multiple times and it did it once.i dint know what changed to make it do it but its an annoyance to me

[Q] Phone Constantly Beeping about Something

Apologies if this has been asked already but I've searched for a good while.
Have a Samsung Galaxy S II for the past week. Once or twice while I was watching videos it would start to vibrate (while in silent mode) and I could only stop the vibrating by pressing the Home key. There were no incoming calls or messages that I could see.
The battery died 2 days ago after running down to 0% and since then the phone has been beeping more or less constantly when not on the charger. If it's on silent it will vibrate, if not on silent it will just beep away. Pressing the home key stops it but it starts up again a few minutes later. The battery indicator in the top right appears to be flashing with the little power icon as though it's a battery notification but there is no actual notification and there's nothing to say - battery level is about 95% or so when this starts I'd guess.
I've done 2 factory resets which haven't solved the problem and I installed a couple of custom battery apps to see if they'd take over the battery notification (assuming that's the problem) but that hasn't done anything. I also noticed that I can't seem to power the phone off anymore. If I turn it off, it just turns back on and waits at the phone unlock screen for me to enter my PIN.
Anyone experienced this before or know what might be causing it?
Hi,
I have the same problem here, can you please tell me if you have solved this problem and how?
Thanks
Same problem here - any solutions?

Hi,
I hope all of you are in Stock Kernel now.
Is it rooted?
If yes then please Go to CWM Recovery Mode and Go to Advanced and WIPR Dalvik Cache as well as Battery Stats...
Once this is done .. Reboot and check whether the problem is solved if not Try and use Stock ROM Battery Mod ..

[Q] CM7 Screen Temporarily (5-6 seconds) Black When Placing Call

Intermittently, when initiating a call, the screen goes blank/ black for 5-6 seconds, or longer, and does not wake up. During this time, the phone does not respond to any tactile or soft input, but ringing and other audio continues to emit from the earphone.
I do not have any sort of screen cover/ protection, or any other obtrusion to the proximity sensor.
This is extremely annoying, as sometimes, I would like to immediately hang up, or place the call on speaker, but cannot do either as no input registers.
Is this an isolated issue to me, or CM7 on the AT&T SGS2? I am not running any special apps or background services.
It 'feels' as if this is mostly caused by some sort of lag, as it does happen intermittently. i can't pin down a particular pattern during which this persists. Anyone else experience any similar symptoms?

this same issue is what made me drop cm7 and go to UnNamed
I had it and would just hit the power button to turn it back on.
Dropped this on their forums:

[Q] Vibrate goes back to normal ringtone after a call is received.

My wife has a Rezound, stock. I feel 90% sure we're just missing something that an easy explanation would fix.
Here's the issue:
Wife is in a meeting so sets phone to vibrate.
Call comes in, she steps out of the metting to take it
After hanging up, the vibrate setting automatically returns to default, that is, ring out loud.
She wants it to stay in vibrate mode, but calls (or texts) automatically reset the ringer back to audible, rather than vibrate
My request: Any guess as to why this is happening? Any idea as to how she can keep it on vibrate, until she resets it back to normal ring?
Thanks in advance.

Vibration Trouble

This seems like it should be a non-issue, yet here I am.
Here is the problem. My (and I will assume all) S3's suffer from a vibration that isn't all that strong. I am coming from an archaic HD2 and everything is great with the s3 cept the HD2's vibrate could...ya know..be felt!
I have mine turned to the max but its still barely able to be felt. To make matters worse, the duration of the vibrate when I get a text or email is VERY short. When I get a text for instance, the phone vibrates for less than 2 full seconds and I miss stuff all the time. I tried different vibrate patterns but it still only vibrates for those two seconds. After creating a custom pattern I realized these vibrate patterns only take affect for incoming calls, not texts or emails.
So how on Earth (please tell me there is a way) do I increase the duration of the vibrate for texts? (emails I can live without but a 2 second vibrate when I get a text isn't going to cut it when the max vibration is so mild).

[Q] Phone doesn't answer calls anymore

I have 2.2 stock OS, been working fine for long time, but last weekend I dropped the phone. Since then (I have powered off/on and taken battery out a couple times but no difference), the phone no longer recieves phone calls -- no ring or missed call notification; callers get sent to voicemail after 1-2 rings, and the voicemail notification does show up immediately.
2 other symptoms are that the lock screen no longer displays (phone goes straight to home screen when I press the power button), and pressing the power button for a second only shows me the Power Off option (previously it had options for Airplane mode and Data Off as well).
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Shaun
That's weird. I'd flash a different ROM and see if it works then. I have no idea why it would power up and skip the lock screen.
For the phones calls I'd think may e it messed up the SIM reader. Maybe its fitting in there funny now, or maybe its broken altogether. Maybe a fresh install of something would alleviate some symptoms and give us a clue as to what really is going on.
You were just sliced bread before you were burnt by the toaster.
