Vibration Trouble - Galaxy S III Q&A, (US Carriers)

This seems like it should be a non-issue, yet here I am.
Here is the problem. My (and I will assume all) S3's suffer from a vibration that isn't all that strong. I am coming from an archaic HD2 and everything is great with the s3 cept the HD2's vibrate could...ya know..be felt!
I have mine turned to the max but its still barely able to be felt. To make matters worse, the duration of the vibrate when I get a text or email is VERY short. When I get a text for instance, the phone vibrates for less than 2 full seconds and I miss stuff all the time. I tried different vibrate patterns but it still only vibrates for those two seconds. After creating a custom pattern I realized these vibrate patterns only take affect for incoming calls, not texts or emails.
So how on Earth (please tell me there is a way) do I increase the duration of the vibrate for texts? (emails I can live without but a 2 second vibrate when I get a text isn't going to cut it when the max vibration is so mild).

(Sprint) Major Issues - Personal Opinion

Hello all,
Here are some of the things that have been bugging me since I got this new phone.
1. SMS Wakeup. When I get a text the screen wakes up and it just starts pushing buttons while its in my carrying case.
2. When I get an incoming call, sometimes I don't want to answer it. When the call comes in I get 1/2 of a ring and the touch screen answers the call, sometimes it ignores it, but most of the time it answers it.
Any fixes for these problems?

You could try S2U (Slide to Unlock).
Wake Up on New SMS –> HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL : DisableSMSWakeUpEvent <– set to “1″ by default. Change value to “0″
The Raphael (and the diamond on 1.93) now ring and vibrate for incoming SMS, so this is not really necessary, but will turn the screen on if that’s what you want (I personally don’t).

[Q] Change notification vibration intensity (back to default)

As long as I've owned my phone (~ 1 month), my notification vibrate has been great. If it was on a hard table, it was loud enough to scare the crap out of me, but more importantly, I could easily feel it in my pocket. Recently, apparently after turning off the notification vibrate for a little while (so that I could leave it on a table without jumping), the vibration intensity is extremely weak. I makes a small buzz on a table, and I can't even begin to feel it in my pocket unless the screen is facing out (which sounds like a great way to get a cracked screen).
Changing the vibration intensity under the settings only changes the haptic feedback intensity, not the notification intensity. I can't find a setting for that anywhere - has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know the solution?
apparently (from what i've gathered) the haptic feedback intensity controls the vibration intensity for the ENTIRE phone. So make sure your intensity is all the way up before you turn off haptic feedback otherwise your vibration will be extremely weak.
I saw that looking through old threads. I usually have haptic feedback on and the intensity set at about halfway, but maxing it has no effect on notifications.
One other note - it seems that my incoming call vibration is strong. Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure if it had dropped and is now back to where it was, or if it stayed at the same level while my notification level dropped.
Opposite Effect
Anyone confirm this or is there some other way to adjust the global vibration? Mine is way too strong and rattles the volume buttons on my phone. My girlfriend and her two daughters also have Vibrants and I've compared mine with all of theirs. Mine is extremely intense. My girlfriend joked about borrowing it for a while.
Anyone know of anything I can do? A service menu or something? I've been searching and this thread is the best I could find.

Random vibrate?

I turned off all vibrate settings but I get random vibrate incoming calls. I tried phone right side up, face down, no ideas.
I've noticed this too but it seems to happen at certain battery level intervals. Not sure if it's just meant to warn me and I'm missing a message on the screen at the time or what.
My battery is full. I had my wife test call me multiple times and it did it once.i dint know what changed to make it do it but its an annoyance to me

[Q] Vibrate goes back to normal ringtone after a call is received.

My wife has a Rezound, stock. I feel 90% sure we're just missing something that an easy explanation would fix.
Here's the issue:
Wife is in a meeting so sets phone to vibrate.
Call comes in, she steps out of the metting to take it
After hanging up, the vibrate setting automatically returns to default, that is, ring out loud.
She wants it to stay in vibrate mode, but calls (or texts) automatically reset the ringer back to audible, rather than vibrate
My request: Any guess as to why this is happening? Any idea as to how she can keep it on vibrate, until she resets it back to normal ring?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Vibrate Power

Hey guys, I noticed that the phone's vibration is isn't particularly powerful and doesn't vibrate for any good length of time. Like it will vibrate for maybe quarter of a second, then nothing ,then vibrate again and the vibration is self I have a hard time noticing when I'm walking or doing anything other than siting still
