Does anyone else have problems with the call volume when using earphones that have mics on them? I have the bose mie2 and the caller can hear me fine but I can barely hear them even with turning the volume all the way up. Any suggestions?

I often listen songs with the minimalist sound at night...I'm experiencing buzzing sound from the speaker when I listen at the lowest sound on PowerAMP. I'm also experiencing it on the stock music player also...Do you guys also having it or just me?

What do yo mean? :O
Do you hear buzzing when you turn the volume up?
What's the sound quality like with the volume up?
Where is your phone sitting when you are playing music?
Does it sound the same through headphones?

No..it works fine when I turn the volume up...Sound quality is crystal clear when the volume is high...Didn't try with the headphones yet! The buzz sound is so low..I can only hear when I place the speaker just beside my ears.

Probably normal interference sound you are hearing. If you only hear it on low with the phone right at your ear, that seems most likely.
Or..........metal plate in head?
Perhaps at higher volumes the buzzing sound is cancelled out by the music? Get a can of compressed air and give it a blast, there may be a small piece of something rattling around in there (very small).
When you listen at night, is your phone plugged into the charger? If so, you may be hearing switcher noise from the battery charger. Try a different one. Just guessing.
Hi
I've just received my One X+ and the speaker phone during a call is next to useless. I've come from a One S and used it in the car on speakerphone and it was fine but the One X+ is so quiet I can hardly hear the person.
I've made sure the incall volume is on max.
I've noticed that the sound seems to be coming from the earpiece on speakerphone shouldn't it switch to the main speaker on the back on speakerphone?
any other people had problems with speakerphone volume during calls?
Mine seems to be fine.

do you use it in the car?
Anyone's incoming call or any notification sound are still coming out from the speakers and not the earphones with the earphones plugged in? I'm with the noise cancelling earphones if that's how it's supposed to be?
All my previous phones mutes the speaker and you hear the ringtones/notifications through the earphones when plugged in

Are you sure you plugged jack properly?
Press it till the end and it'll work.
And no, it's not normal to have sound on speakers and earphones in the same time.

As I understand it, this is a "feature" of Kitkat (If not Jellybean because it did this to me on my GS3). On my GS3 I rooted it and got around the problem but I can't find a way around it on the Z2. There is an app that forces ringtones to headphones but it does not seem to work on the Z2, at least without root. I don't understand why anyone would want this feature. If I am in the library and listening to headphones I don't need my ringtone blasting away. And it is impossible to hear on a crowded bus.

but that's weird when I had my Z1 running on kitkat it doesn't have this problem... isn't it a hardware issue? so this is happening on all Z2? surprised there was no much complaint about this to Sony...
Does anyone else think that the volume is too low while talking on the phone? The quality of the calls are great, but I wish it were louder both using the speakerphone and with the phone to your ear. The volume is even worse when using it through an auxiliary port in my car. Playing it through the speakers I have to jack the volume on my radio to 25 but listening to music I'm usually in the 7-10 range. The speakerphone is useless with all the ambient noise inherent with driving. Does anyone know of a sound boosting app that can fix this issue?
Ahh, I thought I was the only one having this issue. I use Bluetooth all the time and it is also very low. I haven't done a reset yet and that's my next move soon. Doubt it's the BT since I have been using it with the previous LG g3.

I haven't used Bluetooth headphones with this phone yet but that doesn't sound promising. I really hope that there's an app or some hidden setting that can fix this issue. I hate having to do a reset for any reason after I have the phone set up the way I like it.
Same issue. Can hardly hear other people direction the phone and with Bluetooth headphones which work perfectly fine on G3.
This didnt happen on Nougat but all of a sudden ive noticed I can hear what my mic pics up on my headphones using my Sennheiser HD630's with mic when calling someone. Im wondering if its a mixer setting or something. I wonder if anyone else can confirm they have the same thing when making a call using a headset.
