Enable live wallpaper on ur galaxy 3 without coding. - Galaxy 3 Themes and Apps

Many of you must have tried to enable live wallpaper on Galaxy 3 by using the method given by other members of Xda the coding one but I guarantee I won't ask you to write any coding.
1. Just Root ur phone use z4root for android 2.1 and super one click root ur for android 2.2
2. Download Root Explorer. (u can get it free on 4 shared or other site)
3.Download the attachment file (sdcard.rar) and extract it on ur sd card
4.Open root explorer allow super user permission now on ur left hand side is a button named "mount r/w" press it now it will show "mounted as r/w "(go to preference and select sort order name (desc) for convince in finding required folder)
5.Now go to sd card copy "LiveWallpapersPicker.apk" to "/system/app/" (check that it is mounted as r/w)
6.Now again go to sd card and select "libRS.so" and "librs_jni.so" using multi select and copy them to " /system/lib/" and then just restart ur phone.
7.And if u have done it right enjoy with live wallpaper on ur galaxy 3.

Do you mean the set permissions check boxes? Then long press the pasted app and select permissions. Then select the desired permissions (generally user-rw, group-r, other-r, for system apps). Then just reboot the phone.

bootanimation

Just saw this...nexus prime boot animation. Its in a flashable zip, but I tried & it didn't work so I extracted the bootanimation.zip & placed it in the system/media folder. I got it to work after that. Looks cool. Ill try to provide a dropbox link with the zip if I can...
http://www.droid-life.com/2011/10/08/download-nexus-prime-boot-animation/
Edit: here's the zip I extracted http://db.tt/RiwoxsLN
Installed it earlier as well
You guys are better then me. I downloaded it and it wouldn't flash...of course, so I put it in the folder you said and I still get the eclipse boot. Any ideas?

Check the data\local\
Sometimes bootanimations are put there.
I had a problem with bootanimations and no matter what I did, I still got a different one, but when I SBF to 2.3.4, it worked again. so check data\local and if that doesn't work, maybe a SBF will.

Did you use the zip I posted in the link above? You have to place the zip in system/media. Rename the old bootanimation to bootanimation.zip.bak so you can use later if you choose. also make sure your change the permissions to r-w-r-r

Just saw ur edit...thought it was a signature and skipped it lol
I'm having issues copying the zip to system/media.
It says it is read-only.
I clicked on Mount R/W in the Media Folder.
Am I changing the permission on the Media folder?
Keeps telling me the file system is read only.
Can someone offer a bit more instructions? THX

Are ya using root explorer?
Try just mounting /system as r/w and media will be included.
I wouldn't go messing wit permission on system folder manual checking boxes. Only time I did that I had to sbf lol...but I was changing /system permission using checkboxes
Yes, root explorer and I did touch the Mount R/w on System...still says you can't paste here because the file system is read only. I'm on Eclipse 1.1

Did u try reboot and start again?
It SHOULD allow u to mount system r/w
That is if u are rooted. Lol
All u should have to do to be able to do stuff to /system files is touch the gray button on top that says Mount r/w
it should change.to saying " mount r/o" when ur system is editable.
Does it gave DIRECTLY to the left of that gray button "r/w" after the total memory used/available?
Oh...I'm awake now.
It works when the button displays Mount R/O.
I read it as that meant it was currently set to Read/Only.
Not that was to toggle it to R/O.
THANKS MAN
I thought that is what was happening
Believe me I've been there...that's why I asked those questions like that lol ..I was hoping u didn't take it as me thinking u were dumb lol...just been there done that before...red bull always seems to help me in a situation like that Haha...

No Market(Android Market)app on Galaxy S2 Stock (ZK)Firmware

Hi Everyone
Note : I did a search on this issue for any older posts found nothing sorry if i am wrong
I bought my Galaxy S2 from HongKong
when i turned it on for first time there were chinese stock apps, but no Android Market(Market) app, i have no idea maybe thats due to region
1-Anyways is there a way to get Andriod Market app?(i have downloaded two of em 3.1.5,3.3.1 they crash when i hit INSTALL/DOWNLOAD while downloading bar appears)
2- If i can not get Market app is there any other stock firmware that is best with Samsung default apps and Market app Closer to mine
I have Rooted(CF- Root) my phone
It came with ZSKI3 Kernel
Now it has XXKI3 Kernel(After Rooting)
Thanks in Advance!!!
Hey,
what u did with the files?
You know that u have to replace them in system?
So try this here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331710
Use rootexplorer or kind of explorer which apply to go to system files.
Then copy (replace) it in system>app.
If you use rootexplorer, remind that you have to change it from "R/W" to "R/O"
(on top) which allows to replace files!
After doing it, clear the data like it's written in OP of the link.
Much succes

This. You dont have to actually "install" the market (or any other stock apps), but you'r supposed to push them to the system app folder where they belong.
Also dont forget to change from R/W back to R/O (i believe the guy im quoting didnt get it right, as R/W stands for read write, and R/O is for Read Only. But im not entierly sure. So its from R/O to R/W, place file, then back to R/O)

i did reboot opened google maps and it showed exactly where i was. And the problem that bothered me was me keeping gps turned off all the time only to find that it would turn itself on which I do not like. I want to disable it permanently because I don't think its nessecary for basic phone and web service. I dont feel that my movements should be tracked for any reason it's just weird! If I am correct the phone service is done through the wireless connection not gps?
Shouldn't u prefer changing ROM?
Problem solved and closed! The original instructions are correct & results are as originally claimed in first reply to the op. For some reason it didn't delete properly the first time,I fixed this by restoring my backup & re-attempting. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED
Well I could have helped, but I'm an optimus one user, so I don't know which one is a stable optimus v rom...asking an optimus v user will be better...

Here's another option.
Launch Root Explorer

Scroll down to the General Preferences section
Press External SD Path
Enter /mnt/extSdCard as the path and press OK
Once you back out of the preferences a tab should show up to the card now.

That worked perfect, Thanks. Now one more question. I have been trying to install a different color keyboard through Safestrap but they keep failing. Someone said to rename my keyboard apk to the new keyboard apk. Is this fairly easy to do? I guess the hard part is finding the correct apk's.
