is there a way to use my phone as a FAX app? it would be great if I could load a document (resume) to the phone and send it out as a fax. any ideas or suggestions???
Serious question, what kind of industry are you seeking employment in that a fax is the best way to send a resume? I haven't heard of this in years.

I totally know where you are coming from. I had to fax an application into an insurance company yesterday and I had to find a fax machine. Would have been easier if I could just use my phone.....just wondering.
I work in the neurological science field....
Google Voice had an "would be nice button" to click on their website for Fax support.
I clicked it, I still need to sign and fax stuff every now and then.
Your phone haz the interwebz? Maybe google it. Sorry for the sarcasm/douchiness, I can't help it sometimes.
Here's a link the google search I just did google email to fax free
If you don't need this service forever, just use one of the many free trials. Hope this helps, douchiness aside

Can anyone upload the Trillian app on here I had it on my Vibrant when it was free. Now their charging 5 bucks for it? If anyone can do so I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

It was free because it was the beta. It's been released now so....
I had the same problem man, I'm probably going to end up just buying it, but I feel kinda cheated considering I already purchases Trillian in the first place.

U already bought it? Why u can't use it?
I should have been more specific, I purchased Trillian Astra on my PC, not for my phone. I've tried to download it by loggin into my Trillian account, but it just redirects to the marketplace to purchase it. I bet if I really whined and cried I could probably get a copy from them.

straight from CNN, the collective hacktivist group anonymous has a set date to take down this website. I found this interesting, this made me realize how powerful Facebook is. The entire world with everyone's information on one site, every post that has ever been posted or deleted, pictures posted or deleted, even accounts deleted have every single bit of information that ever remotely had anything to do with Facebook is still there and will be forever. "Facebook knows you better than your closest family members". Each day more information is being compromised , be careful!

Honestly, I'm all for anonymous with this one. Not with all they do, but facebook does keep all your ish, and it is ridiculous.

Exactly that's what I'm saying, I'm all for this one and need to get as many people involved and educated about what they're doing. It is so obvious that it is overlooked.

even when i had it, i flammed everyones walls with retarded **** everyone on fb normally posted.
i forgot the e-mail that went along with it. so forever that account is lost, but facebook wont clean or delete any deactivated accounts. why is that?
they permanently store your info into their storage. they know everything about you, own every picture of you that you put up.
people can share their thoughts and their daily life.
but we can't share files?! because it's copyrighted?!

It's also scary to think that people don't realize that Google does EXACTLY the same thing as Facebook, except probably a lot more efficiently. Does anyone think for a minute that Google couldn't access records of every keystroke you've ever made while logged in?

I agree. And whats more scary about google is not only do they have people's social networking info... for all of us with Android phones they have access to all of your emails, contacts, phone calls, texts, gps locations, web browsing, searches, pics, videos....the list goes on. I realized that for the first time when I used google nav on my phone one day to find a local bbq spot and when I got home and got on my laptop there were ads for bbq on chrome browser for my gmail. I didnt think anything about it at first then i was like wait.... WTF??

I can't say that I'm entirely on board with their plan but as we Americans say, "It doesn't affect me so why should I care?"
If people are crazy enough to put every aspect of their lives in the hands of a corporation, they probably aren't thinking about or are unaware of the potential consequences.
Good luck.

Just because u don't see it passing. Make sure you still contact your local state reps to voice you do not want it to pass. You can go to Eff.com (Electric Frontier Foundation) and they can assist you with telling you who to email or call and can even email them on behalf of you.

I called HTC to ask about the bootloader unlocking tool and they directed me to the page.
I said I know that but I want to know why the Rezound one is not available and when it will be.
"We dont have that information"
Ok who does?
"We dont know"
What? well what department handles that kind of stuff.
"There isnt one"
There has to be someone who makes the unlocking tools and posts them right?
"We dont have that information, all I can say is to maybe contact the corporate office"
Ok what is the number.
"I cant give it you to you"
Ugh!!!

Why bother to ask? Everyone knows that it's Verizon requesting all the crack be blocked/locked down. Just wait for the people working on it to finish what they started. The phone is quite useable w/ debloat/desense.

You'll probably be placed on hold numerous times. But yes, it would be amusing to hear.

So I want to be a good guy here and I probably did the wrong thing but I have found a phone it was completely dead so I charged it up and turned it on. I want to return it to its original owner b/c I'm a "good guy" but it is password locked and android debugging is not turned on. Is there any way that I can get through this password WITHOUT resetting the phone OR is there a way I can extract the contacts from the phone? Again, debugging is NOT turned on. Any help asap will be much appreciated.
Just turn it in to the local police dept.

Or sprint store.

Either way, get it out of your hands. If the phone has been reported stolen, you don't want to get caught with it. If the owner has something like Lookout installed on the phone, he/she can track it, and you don't want the local PD coming to where you live looking for a stolen phone.
The advice is free....the bandwidth, not so much

to answer you question, no, there is no way around the password.
Actually there is a way around the password. But being it's a stolen phone/lost you should just turn it in. I mean imagine if you lost your evo and some one turned it in and the cops returned it to you. Can you imagine how you would feel?? Like spike Lee man do the right thing. Do good and good comes back to you.

Why would anyone return it to a third party store? It's not a real sprint store. I've returned a phone before to my local sprint store and they contacted the person. Two days later the store manager called my phone to tell me the guy was from Boston and he wanted to thank me so he gave the manager 50 bucks to put on my account. I never go to third party stores, only official sprint store with service centers since most of the time I go is for issues.
