I like some of the Themes listed in the Wiki but one question I have is can these be installed over the stock rooted Sprint ROM or do I have to flash a different ROM first?

Most of the "themes" are for cm7. There are a few for stock/stockesque (mik roms). In order to use a theme or rom you need to be rooted, s-off, with a custom recovery installed.
Always double/triple check what flavor (sense or aosp) of the theme you are going to apply... Mixing and matching sense and aosp can make your phone act silly...

I would suggest a different ROM not stock rooted Sprint ROM. Install a ROM compatible with whatever theme (sense 1.0 ROM if its a theme made for it or cm7 if its theme chooser app). Don't try flashing a sense 1.0 theme over sense 2.1 for example, its not going to work.

It depends on what theme... if its a flashable zip theme, you SHOULD be able to flash the original rom over it without harm (you will have to delete bloat/apps again) but if the rom contains wipe scripts you will start over from scratch... cm7 themes are changeable in the theme chooser...

ok, so ive reacently rooted my wildfire and flashed it with cyanogen 6.
and i want to try a new theme, ive downloaded the theme injector and all that stuff. I understand how to install it BUT: if i theme my cm6 will the phone act like i installed a new rom and will i have to do all settings and homescreens again? or will all my settings contacts and apps still be on the same place just with a different appearance?
if you want me to explain better, let me know!

yes i have and i found it!
but if i want to install using the theme injector
in my experimce everything stays the same, if you do no wipe date I don't see how everything could go away...

This is just a zip you can flash to erase whatever theme you are using (for stock ROM). This will install all stock apps, stock frameworks, fonts and boot animation. I use this when I'm testing themes. Much better than re-installing stock ROM because you don't have to do any wipes (keeping all your apps and settings) and it will keep your OC kernel active. Also much quicker than re-installing stock or restoring nandroid

Ok, I'm coming from the moment and everything seems to be a little more confusing on the shift. I just perm-rooted my shift yesterday. Now I'm looking to theme it. I haven't installed any roms or different kernals yet, because I'm really confused on which one to do, cause a lot of them say something is broken.
So what i wanted to do was apply the cyan dragon theme. So I assume this theme eraser acts like a theme template and I have to use it before applying any theme.
Now the next problem I'm having I can't even download this or the cyan theme. Every time I click on the download link I get directed to the dropbox site and I get a 403 error. I even tried creating my own account and logging in and still don't know how to get the file. Don't know if its a dropbox problem but I've been trying since last night. I've never used dropbox before so maybe I have to do something different to get the file. Unless it's an xda thing and I don't have proper permission to download this file.
Any help would be appreciated, cause I really want to theme this bad boy.

This is not a theme template per se. You don't need to use this to flash a theme. This is for when (for example) your on cyan dragon and you decide you want to try a blue theme. This puts framework, apps, ect back to default (using nfinites rom as a base deodex) since not all themes have the same themed apps and you don't want to have some themed apps leftover on the wrong theme. This is also much faster than reflashing a rom, keeping all your apps and settings. If you're trying to flash cyan dragon then I recommend flashing nfinitefx45's stock 2.0 rom found in android developement first. The issue with the links is dropbox related and I'm planning on moving everything to multiupload later on today, then ill update the links.

I wouldn't recommend it. Mikshift is an odex rom and this is deodex.

Its suggested to do so. If you flash a theme over a theme there might be residual themed apps leftover as not all themes theme the same apps.

ok guys im on a mission! i pulled this from the latest Miui rom....the theme manager. The rom was for the HTC Desire Z. Somebody let me know which phone is most like/compatible with our eris from here: http://roms.miui.us/
I dont know y i choose that phone but i did. the theme manager doesnt want to install. should i get it from another rom for a different phone? And the theme chooser for cm7 is it conflicting with the Miui theme manager? What if i delete the cm7 theme chooser, anybody know if itll work or what?
I pulled a few apks from the rom and none will install is the framework the problem?
A lot is the issue .. the big one is its armv7 non of those phones are compatible

Can you run ics theme on serendipity 8? I seen that it has allot of boot looping on many rooms
The theme has to be updated with the latest ROM or whatever ROM its used with. Updates in ROMs change some things resulting in bootloops if the theme hasn't been updated as well. Its easy to bypass though- just read the OP. make sure the theme is compatible with whatever version ROM your running. And if the theme hasn't been updated, it doesn't hurt to ask the OP in the thread if it will work with the latest "x" ROM.
But to answer your original question- I don't think there is an ICS theme for S8.

i uploaded font polo brush.Extract zip and you get font Press thanks button
DXLA and DXLB firmware are using different systemUI.apk and framework-res.apk. using both file from older firmware will make our device got bootloop. so, what rom did you use to test this theme?
