All future roms will be built from source, I will not modify anyone elses work anymore.
It's not easy being green.
Step 1: Read this whole page.
Step 2: If your coming from another rom, do a nandroid backup, wipe and then flash.
Step 3: Flash all patches.
Step 4: If errors occur give detailed info and version.

This is a Mytouch Slide Rom, it is based off CM6.

I'm sure it's a fine ROM. Actually, I'm not sure. But it sounds good.
Too bad there's not many Espresso themed base ROM's. I'm sticking with CM_ROM.

how in the world do you get the sense clock widget on the adw launcher?
You a mc cant thats dependent on sense and sense needs htc framework soooo, only wasy for that is sense, but I use fancy wodget which it a replica of it that works on every launcher

yeah i had the fancy widget at one point in time, but that was on my g1, and it has been taken off the market since then. google search did the job just fine though. thanks.

Array is there a way that i can take your custom slide status bar and put it on a cm6 rom? would u be able to post the files needed for it? i like the status bar from the stock slide sense rom and i see you put it in your rom.

Yea I tried that but when i loaded it i got a android phone process error every minute and couldnt even go thru the setup process. Is there something else other then the framework-res.apk that i need to transfer?

If he just copied on a random Framework app then he's asking for trouble, especi...Fixing perm might help but if the 2 CM roms were compiled at diff times then there could be changes that will not let the new res.apk function.
im thinking he just pushed the file and thts really no good but if he flashed it via a rom then he did something wrong
i copied this roms framework into cm6.0.0 rom, signed the rom then wiped my phone and flashed that rom. Maybe there built differently thats why i got that android.phone process force close.
im not sure my base is cm 6.0.0..... but ill make a flashable zip for you tht will have the framework if you want

This is just a zip you can flash to erase whatever theme you are using (for stock ROM). This will install all stock apps, stock frameworks, fonts and boot animation. I use this when I'm testing themes. Much better than re-installing stock ROM because you don't have to do any wipes (keeping all your apps and settings) and it will keep your OC kernel active. Also much quicker than re-installing stock or restoring nandroid

Instructions:

Ok, I'm coming from the moment and everything seems to be a little more confusing on the shift. I just perm-rooted my shift yesterday. Now I'm looking to theme it. I haven't installed any roms or different kernals yet, because I'm really confused on which one to do, cause a lot of them say something is broken.
So what i wanted to do was apply the cyan dragon theme. So I assume this theme eraser acts like a theme template and I have to use it before applying any theme.
Now the next problem I'm having I can't even download this or the cyan theme. Every time I click on the download link I get directed to the dropbox site and I get a 403 error. I even tried creating my own account and logging in and still don't know how to get the file. Don't know if its a dropbox problem but I've been trying since last night. I've never used dropbox before so maybe I have to do something different to get the file. Unless it's an xda thing and I don't have proper permission to download this file.
Any help would be appreciated, cause I really want to theme this bad boy.

This is not a theme template per se. You don't need to use this to flash a theme. This is for when (for example) your on cyan dragon and you decide you want to try a blue theme. This puts framework, apps, ect back to default (using nfinites rom as a base deodex) since not all themes have the same themed apps and you don't want to have some themed apps leftover on the wrong theme. This is also much faster than reflashing a rom, keeping all your apps and settings. If you're trying to flash cyan dragon then I recommend flashing nfinitefx45's stock 2.0 rom found in android developement first. The issue with the links is dropbox related and I'm planning on moving everything to multiupload later on today, then ill update the links.

I wouldn't recommend it. Mikshift is an odex rom and this is deodex.

Well in that case I guess I would suggest the mikshift version cuz its odex as well... but it will basically become mikshift at that point...

Its suggested to do so. If you flash a theme over a theme there might be residual themed apps leftover as not all themes theme the same apps.

I like some of the Themes listed in the Wiki but one question I have is can these be installed over the stock rooted Sprint ROM or do I have to flash a different ROM first?

Most of the "themes" are for cm7. There are a few for stock/stockesque (mik roms). In order to use a theme or rom you need to be rooted, s-off, with a custom recovery installed.
Always double/triple check what flavor (sense or aosp) of the theme you are going to apply... Mixing and matching sense and aosp can make your phone act silly...

I would suggest a different ROM not stock rooted Sprint ROM. Install a ROM compatible with whatever theme (sense 1.0 ROM if its a theme made for it or cm7 if its theme chooser app). Don't try flashing a sense 1.0 theme over sense 2.1 for example, its not going to work.

It depends on what theme... if its a flashable zip theme, you SHOULD be able to flash the original rom over it without harm (you will have to delete bloat/apps again) but if the rom contains wipe scripts you will start over from scratch... cm7 themes are changeable in the theme chooser...

Has anyone managed to patch there CM 7.1 Legend with ACheps ICS layout mod found here? I've tried multiply times resulting in my status bar simply not showing and coming up with an error. If anyone has succeeded can they post there patch files here for me to use? Thanks
I've also tried it with CM7.1 but without success. Lock-ring and transitions effects did work, but the statusbar crashes right after unlocking the phone.
I've got it working a while ago.
Quite easy if you're reading the Instructions.
1) Deodex your ROM (Important, otherwise there will be crashes like hell)
2) Run the AChep Patcher
3) Put the Files back to your phone and flash them
4) Maybe you have to revert to stock and then flash again to make it work properly.
The first step is the hardest step, but it's easy if you read...
yop, i get this thing working without problem, running KANG 7.1 CM, just recieved one warning about resolution when applying, commited, screen made some resolution changes and the went back to normal with the status bar and the rest correctly...
Got bootloop when I tried.

Aha I didn't realise you need to deodex your rom! I read the instructions many a time and didn't see it state that, ah well. I think I prefer an odes rom over this modification. But I would be interested in a custom build cm7 with this already on.

Why don't you ask this guy here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1515410 , he is currently making a new rom for the HTC Legend and wouldn't mind for some suggestions.
I Have TGF´s cm7.1 costum rom... where is a patch to to get centered clock and transparency status bar. or use Kang 7.2 TGF on Legend Development.

creeds is using dxkl based rom. theoritically every theme for dxkl based rom is working on creeds. don't try any theme for hybrid or repencis. they're using different base rom.

Because that setting not have creed part setting...
And only 14 status bar .....default have 15.....
U can receive call still lock screen... release lock then u atten call...

Well, this is DJ.
I am a newbie. I have been a visitor to XDA but now I have grabbed a bit of ability to make my own custom ROMs. As a result of which I have made a theme which combines the best of many custom ROMs for Creeds ROM V3.0 and later, REPENCIS V3.0 and later.
I am posting the images below. If anyone is interested let me know, so that I can attach download links to the theme.
