Hi guys !
I've got a problem => when i remove my microSD card and then insert it back to the device, some applications are broken ( i turn off my phone, before i remove SD card) - i can not start them,so i must install apps again. I've got two cards, and the problem is the same.
Specification :
SE Xperia X10 mini pro, U20i, firmvare version 2.1-update1, 2.1.1.A.0.6 ROOTed
SD card : microSDHC A-DATA 8Gb Class 6
What's wrong ? Please help me with this problem, and sorry for my english.
You should not remove the sd card if you have apps installed inside.... Your sd card partition is ALWAYS MOUNTED... So do NOT remove your sdcard from your phone or if you want to use diferent sdcards do NOT transfer your apps to your sdcard....

So, isn't there any variant to solve this problem ? It is such uncomfortable, that i can't remove my sd card from the device. ( if i want to get it into USB card reader and so on)
I've got two partitions on my sd card, one for data, and one for applications, i use LINK2SD to install apps to my sd card.Yes, i can install apps to the internal memory, but there is just about 150Mb of free space.
Please,help me somebody.

Hi
If you dont have any memory card inserted abd u try to move apps from phone memory to sd card does it move app to internal phone memory that is the 16gb memory or does it give u an error - not enough memory available
Hi Can anyone please check this on his phone.
I read that apps in samsung galaxy s 2 are not moved to sd card but to internal phone memory that is the 16gb phone memory which is listed as sd card in file explorer.
So i presume that having no external sd card one can still move apps from phone memory to sd card (which is acutally the internal 16gb memory) - am i correct or not?
Can someone check this on his phone please - since i want to know whether there is a problem with my phone or not.
ken
Yer you can, the 16gb phone memory is treated as an sd card and so apps2sd would move it to that bit of memory. Not sure wether you can move it from there to an external sd though...
Hi thanks for your reply - so you need to use apps2sd to move them - can't you use the application management application of android itself to do so.
Since the strange thing is this - if i do not have sd card inserted and i try to move app from phone storage to sd card - using the android application management - i get an error unable to move application not enough storage, yet if i have sd card inserted then app is moved. The weird thing is that the app is moved to the internal memory not the external sd card - so why do you need to have an sd card inserted to move app?

the 2 gb system apps is running low and i need to move apps to sd however i have a 32 gb model so buying an sd card will be useless
however when i try to move app to sd card it say no external sd card inserted because i dont have one but there must e away to install the apps on the usb storage as it works like an sd card for our devices , i have searched online and here but no one provided an answer for that
Hello my friends, i have this big problem with my haier w910. It's 8gb phone, with external sd card, but when i install a bigger game (like 2gb) it doesn't save on my sd card, but on my phone memory. It is like formated to 2 partitions : phone memory and sd card ( 2 gb and 4gb) and my sd card is seen like extended sd card (subordinate or something) and i can't move my sd data. What can i do? *sorry for bad english
You can try Folder Mount , but you will have to root your phone if you haven't already. There is also a few other solutions like the Swap sd app or setting your default install location the sd card.
i bought a cheap mtk phone from tinydeal
X9S by xiaocai http://www.tinydeal.com/xiaocai-x9s-45-ips-mtk6582-4-core-android-422-3g-phone-p-115131.html
and he came with 4GB total(when i say total i mean internal is 1.62GB, phone storage is 1GB and i have no idea where another 1.3GB, i think it's the OS it self) i bought a 10 Class 8GB sd card and i though it was easy to install from play store to the sd card, but the problem it's i can't install directly to sd card and even can't move them after the installation, the only thing i can do is move the apps from internal storage to phone storage, can't install any app to the sd card(the sd card is working great, i copied some music into it and i can listen to it from the phone)
i read somewhere that i can change via adb to set location to external but it didn't worked for me, i also read that i can flash heb files but i don't have the original rom of this phone and also, this still doesn't solve the problem that i can't move apps to the sd card ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2455850 )
all i want is just to install asphalt on this phone =\
Anyone?
