hello
i have rooted note GT-N7000 , 16 G SD card with FAT32 & Ext2 partion , running jealy beans , & use link2sd to overcome internal memory limitation (most of app is in ext2 partition
suddenly , my phone keep restarting , if i remove the sd card or insert new one , it operate normally .
I tested the sd card on my pc , i can access both partion with no error
now the phone runing normally without the sd card or with new sd card, restart happened when i try to open app manager in setting
is there any way to fix this problem in order to be able to access apps on sd card normally

Yes I did reboot but still says the sd card is not there under settings, however if I boot via xRecovery I can access the sd card with the xRecovery menu
I did try deleting the android folder on the sd card, still no help I guess I could tryu a different sd card when I get home
well getting further, it wrks with my 2gb sd card just not with the 8gb card even when I did a reformat,

I've got a problem => when i remove my microSD card and then insert it back to the device, some applications are broken ( i turn off my phone, before i remove SD card) - i can not start them,so i must install apps again. I've got two cards,and the problem is the same.
Specification :
SE Xperia X10 mini pro, U20i, firmvare version 2.1-update1, 2.1.1.A.0.6 ROOTed
SD card : microSDHC A-DATA 8Gb Class 6
What's wrong ? Please help me with this problem,and sorry for my english.
You should not remove the sd card if you have apps installed inside.... Your sd card partition is ALWAYS MOUNTED... So do NOT remove your sdcard from your phone or if you want to use diferent sdcards do NOT transfer your apps to your sdcard....

So, isn't there any variant to solve this problem ? It is such uncomfortable, that i can't remove my sd card from the device. ( if i want to get it into USB card reader and so on)
I've got two partitions on my sd card,one for data, and one for applications, i use LINK2SD to install apps to my sd card.Yes, i can install apps to the internal memory,but there is just about 150Mb of free space.
Please,help me somebody.

I got 16GB SD card, so i try using this guide. It works, but i don't really like it.
So i want to go back (not using swap method), and i format my SD card.
But i fotgot to off the swap (like in the tutor, you mus off it, or your SD card can't be mounted)..
Now my SD card can't read by my phone :'( , i can't use it anymore.
Whe i connect my SD card with card reader, it show (not broken or something), and when in CWM, i choose mount SD card, i can backup.
But when i turn on my phone, it not read (mount) my SD card.
And i can't make swap (because my SD card did'nt read by my phone, it not show)..
help me
Tried it with a linux system? It must detect your card because swap partitions will be detected by linux systems .
Edit: format it in fat32 file system then only it will be recognized by your phone.

Hi New member here. I have purchased Runbo X5 android phone version 4.0.4, ibut memory was low so i decided to get 32gb memory card. I have rooted my phone using framaroot, su, superuser and root verifier.
So i decided to get mini tools to partition my sd card, however when i set primary for second partition ext2 and click apply, it switches back to unallocated and logical. Mini tools does not allow me to set primary and even not allow create partition no more i get the message delete all partitions which i do then re apply but no success.
i used memory card reader and even phone connected in debugging mode > usb storage but no success.
anyone please?
Sometimes i have to erase (sd damged msg) the sd card on my phone so i can see it again on the computer (fat32).
at one point i had to transfer all data to phone memory with phone connect by usb and then transfer backup of files to sd on phone due to computer not seeing the sd card.
i only need to partition sd card so i can use link2sd app to full potential and remove the annoying low space msg.
I have a LG MS500 with metro pcs, i had used aparted to partion my card and link files to my sd card. I had a glitch trying to add a boot image and had to factory reset my phone in order to get it to work again, now my memory card will read what was on the external storage partion of the card, but it cant be modified,and ive tried to format the card with numerous apps. when i attach the phone to the pc, it will show the card and i can access it, but any formatting programs wont see the card, any suggestions???
