I've connected mine to KIES and no new firmware is reported hence the reason for raising this question!

Hi guys,
I sent in my Galaxy SII in for repairs and now I got it back with a really old firmware - I think it has now KE3.
Kies won't upgrade because the firmware won't match its server so I have to do it via Odin.
Now, to the question - I found KF3 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113928
Is this the latest O2 one that I can upgrade to? Or am I better off switching to an non-official KG2 build?

My devices is from the UK , PDA: KF3, Phone: KE7, CSC: KD1 (CPW), and im currently in Israel. Am I supposed to receive the update via kies? becuase it says i have the latest firmware..

I think Kies version you have is Israel and you need to wait till it release in Israel.Even if you brought from UK it doesn't matter because you/Your mobile is not currently in UK

Its the update for galaxy s1....the update for uk galaxy s2 is not out yet

Hey Guys,
i'm still not able to update from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 via kies.
Always the same message : this isn't an official firmware......
But i never flashed with Odin or something like...always updated with kies...
kies says the actual firmware is: pda: KF3 /Phone: KE7 / CSC: KE4 (DBT)
reinstalled kies and prob is still there...i also tried it on 3 differnt comp...
now, please help me!

Question why would you have an update to 2.3.4 has your phone provider actually updated to 2.3.4

I am with AT&T in the US and recently bought the Galaxy S2. My device happens to be a French version. My firmware is
PDA: KG1 / PHONE: KG1 / CSC: KG2 (XEF). It's 2.3.3.
Can I upgrade to the latest EU 2.3.4? If so, which package should I download in the intratech thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278)?
1. Any reason not to upgrade?
2. Will it wipe the phone?
3. Will Kies still recognize the firmware after the update and continues to notify me of future updates based on this newly flashed firmware?

Hey, im trying to update my galaxy s2 to 2.3.5 but confused as to what firmware to flash. the current CSC i is I9100XEUKD1, I am on o2uk, could anyone help and tell me which official firmware to flash?
There isn't a 2.3.5 XEU update. 2.3.4 is the latest for the uk.
