[Q] Calendar does not sync to correct day - HTC EVO 3D

When I turn on my 3D in the morning and go to my calendar, sometimes it does not show the correct day. When I first got it, it show 1 or 2 days behind. I called Sprint and was told to take the battery out to reset the phone. This was done & it did reset to the correct day. I have now had the phone for 10 days and this morning it showed yesterday! I had to pull the battery out again and this worked.
Any fix for this??
Thanks!

Evo3D problems driving me crazy...

Guys, need your help. I've had this phone since launch day and am way beyond my 30-day return/exchange policy. Completely stock w/ 3 downloaded programs (bank apps) and all updates applied. Here are my problems:
1. Random rebooting or dead phone. This doesn't happen often, but I think I've narrowed it down to the GPS navigation. Sometimes after using the GPS I've witnessed the phone continually reboot every 15 minutes or so. Just laying on the table and it'll spontaneously reboot. The only way to stop it is to pull the battery. Earlier today I used the GPS for a quick trip, ended the program, then turned the phone off. About 1hr later, I tried turning the phone back on... but couldn't power on or anything. The only fix was to pull the battery.
2. The damn GPS program takes SEVERAL MINUTES to lock on. I have to pull the car over or just wait until it locks on. I thought one of the updates was supposed to fix this. WTF?
I've tried factory reset w/ no apps installed. Even took it to the Sprint store but the rep said he couldn't do anything for me since I'm beyond 30 days besides resetting the phone.
I'm really frustrated since I upgraded my plan and renewed for 2 more YEARS.... Any suggestions?
Check out the thread on battery tips. I also posted a thread about how my phone would randomly reboot or shutdown. The problem was the battery was not making full contact all the time, so I put a piece of rubber band on one side of the battery to make a more snug fit and haven't had a random reboot since.

All HTC apps unavailable? And more..

Well I think I've created a disaster here.. sorry for the long story... It's been a LONG day.
I thought it was a cool idea to switch from the HD7 unlocked on Wind Mobile to Telus Mobility just to get the Titan. So I bought an AT&T Titan on eBay, unlocked it, got setup with Telus and was ready to roll..
Everything appeared to be going smoothly and as soon as I popped in the Telus sim card it read 4G on my screen, data worked great, voice calls perfect and I was smooth sailing.
Well just when I had to setup my phone to 99% completion ONE stubborn XBL game refused to install (PvZ). Kept asking me to retry or check my data connection even though I was on wi-fi.. So I cancelled it and retried about 10 times with no luck. Finally I gave up and did a soft reset. Well the phone stuck on "goodbye" for more than 5 min so I pulled the battery. Turned it back on at it sat at the HTC screen and would not boot past it. I pulled the battery another 10 times and same thing. So I left it over night hoping it would boot past it eventually but it only ended up draining my battery. In the morning I had to do a hard reset (holding the volume buttons) but weirdly after it did that it vibrated a bunch of times and just sat on a white screen. Again I pulled the battery. Then it did a fresh boot and the whole setup came on.
Well I went through doing my thing again... setting up, installing apps etc. But then apps stopped installing. Started getting errors saying to check my data connection again or try later. Somehow my data connection disappeared and I had to set the APN for data manually. Weird.
Well long story short is nothing has been working right. I keep hitting roadblocks during configuration and setup and end up hard resetting. Hard resets using the volume buttons always do the same thing.. cause the phone to vibrate a bunch of times and white screen and stays there. Hard resets within settings work ok as normal. But I keep getting different results. Like sometimes it will ask me to set the region and timezone on setup, and other hard resets wont. One reset caused Google to believe it was an iPhone I was using as it was clearly the iPhone version of Google home page.
And in the Marketplace sometimes I have US apps available in my region since I shouldn't and sometimes I don't. But now everytime I hard reset I don't have access to ANY HTC apps. If I go through the HTC Hub and try to get one it says it's not available in my region. Yet on my HD7 on Wind Mobile I had all of them and even did a hard reset or 2 and still got them back.
HTC Titan Forever Goodbye
While my problem is much different, there was one commonality that compelled me to post. I have an HTC Titan on AT&T and last night I was attempting to install one game and update another but it was giving me the "connect to wifi" error like you got. I tried to force it 10 or so times and it eventually worked.
However, this morning my maps would just sit at "Loading" and the phone was unresponsive at times. So I reset the phone and when I got to work the icons for most of my tiles wouldn't load, my and various other apps would crash or just sit at "loading". I didn't do any hard resets but I pulled the battery and still the same crap and trying to shutdown normally just resulted in "goodbye".
Since I am going to be sitting at my desk all day I decided I had the time to be more stubborn than the phone and just let it sit at "goodbye" for about 5-7 minutes before it actually rebooted.
EDIT: I just discovered that the app i started updating last night only made it 30%

[Q] Evo 3D doesn't turn on

Hey guys.
I have a problem with my HTC EVO 3D. I've been using it for a year and everything was fine until yesterday. I was playing Real Racing 3 when my phone suddenly restarted and then turned off before I could enter my PIN code and didn't boot up. I thought that it might have overheated or it was some crash or something, I put the phone to charging and it easily turned on (I must mention, that there were about 70% battery left). I charged my phone and didin't use it whole afternoon. In the evening, I was trying to unlock my phone (with about 70% of battery) when suddenly the same happened again - the phone restarted and before entering PIN code turned off at all. After that I wasn't able to boot my phone.
I tried charging it with original HTC AC charger and also using my laptop and even a car charger, but nothing changes.
When the phone is not plugged in to charging, it doesn't show any signs of being alive. I tried pressing volume down/up/camera buttons + power on button, taking off the battery for about an hour, charging the phone for ~6 hours. Nothing works.
However, I realised that when I connect the phone to my laptop, there is a 'new device is connected' sound, but I am not able to access my memory card or do something else. Also, when the phone is charging, the red charging light is on, which after a few hours turns to green and after some more time disappears at all. When trying to turn on the device while it is charging the red light disappears as soon as the power button is released ant comes back after about 20 seconds.
Sorry for such long story and for my bad English. I am very disappointed. I still have a warranty, but I dont want to take the phone there, because the fixing lasts at least 2-3 weeks and also since I'm unable to boot my phone, there are a lot of my personal information in it, such as passwords, messages, bookmarks and so on, left.
So, is there anything I could do or should I take my phone to service?
P.S. The phone is not rooted and never was. Everything is original and up to date.

Perhaps try a new battery or take it in and have them try one. Sounds like a battery issue.
Sent from my SlimRom jb'd EVO 3D.

Thanks. I took it to service. I hope they'll repair it.
I finally got my HTC back a few days ago. They changed the motherboard and I had to buy a new battery since the old one was dead and warranty for it was only a year.
But I've faced several unexpected crashes during these few days. I think 3 or maybe 4 times when I took the phone after not using it for couple of hours and tried to unlock it, the phone didn't unlock and instead turned on. I really don't like this, because if my phone turns off whenever it wants, I may be unreachable
Does anyone knows what that means and what should I do if this keeps happening?

This happens on stock rom?

Yes, the soft has always been and is stock.
Then it must be a hardware issue. If your warranty has not expired, take it to the warranty service.

Well as I said I dont want to take it there because it takes about three weeks or more till I get back my phone.. It would be the third time in two months and it really annoys me.
Couldn't this be software issue? I mean I've been reading some similiar threads and I found out that some app might be killing the phone. So I did hard reset yesterday and after that installed only well known essential apps (Google services and some others) and after that the phone didin't crash for almost two days. Unfortunately, it did turned off a few minutes ago. I've installed only 8 Ball Pool and Smart Keyboard Pro recently, so I will try unninstalling them both and let's hope the phone won't crash again. Is there any ideas what else may I do in case it doesn't work?

Id recommend doing a factory reset on the phone and not installing any app for at least a week to confirm its not a hardware issue, but I strongly believe it is. If it fails youll have to take it to a sprint store and hope the clerk is in a good mood and give you a new phone the same day.
try a new battery
The battery is new, I had to buy it only a week ago, because the service stated that the old one was dead.

[Q] HOX+ switching off continously

My HOX+ is less than two years old. My phone used to get incredibly hot for the past 6 months. So, I uninstalled most apps and disabled many; keeping only the necessary one enabled. For the past two weeks my phone would automatically get switched off when I am using Snapchat. I thought of factory resetting it but was heavily occupied by my studies. Yesterday my phone finally got switched off and refused to get switched on. It only switched on when I put it on charge (It was already charged, so it wasn't like battery had drained out). I switched it on and disabled almost all but half a dozen apps. But again after few minutes it got switched off.
Whenever I am trying to switch it on, it just boots till HTC screen not even the HTC One screen and gets switched off. Sometimes it boots properly showing the homescreen. I backed up all my data and went for a soft reset. It did take place after few attempts. But the problem persisted so I went for a hard reset using the boot menu. But the moment I select FACTORY RESET it just shows the HTC screen with the slider (yellow) on the top right corner filling up and then again shuts down.
Please help. I have never rooted my phone or used any apk outside Google Play store.
Are you sure that your battery isn't going empty? After 2 years this may happen to a battery (rarely, but can).

Constant rebooting and locking up only during the evening

Hi,
Just wondering what steps I should take next and if this has happened to anyone else.
My phone constantly reboots or gets stuck at the boot logo and requires a battery pull the past few days, only between 3pm and 8pm. The rest of the night and the rest of the day the phone is perfectly fine.
It started Monday 10/3. I took the phone out of my pocket as I walked to my car 5pm after work and noticed a reboot...but thought nothing of it. At dinner time I put the phone in the table and noticed a reboot...but since the phone worked still...I ignored it.
Tuesday, starting at 4pm...my phone rebooted many times..or was stuck at the boot logo...making the phone unusable. I ate dinner with the phone off...and it was fine after dinner.
I decided to swap to a spare battery. Both genuine Lg batteries...direct from Lg. Wednesday...the phone was on my desk...and around 415pm the phone rebooted without me touching it ...just sitting in my desk. Unusable again until 8pm...no matter how many times I pulled the battery.
I was charging my phone from 1pm - 4pm everyday...so I thought it might have something to do with the battery being full.
Today, Thursday...same thing as Wednesday, except at 3 pm it started rebooting and getting stuck. Lasted until 8pm. This time I didn't charge my phone in the afternoon.
Any ideas? My phone was rooted 6 months ago...but I never installed any Roms or anything...just rooted it and kept it stock.

You say it is only happening at very specific times? Try setting system clock to the time when it usually happens to see if it is some sort of software issue. If you can trigger by changing clock, then reflashing stock rom should fix it. If not it may be a underlying hardware problem.
I feel like it may be a charging issue. Ive had it reboot when charging in the car now...or shortly after it charges...so not just a time issue. The odd thing is it happens to both my batteries.
I got a new phone yesterday anyways. Apparently yesterday was the last day best buy let's you do a 2 year contract upgrade on the everything data 1500 plan. I think the only way to get contract pricing is through sprint.com now. So I'm glad I got in on the best buy deal.
