My Phone keep answering calls with out me touching it, even when its on the lock screen. I rest it and restarted it over and over again, CAN ANYONE help me
So if you call your phone when it's just laying on a table it will unlock itself and answer the call? I've auto answered accidentally when pulling it out of my pocket but not when it's just laying there.

Not sure why this started happening, but whenever I call my voicemail the phone goes dark and I can't turn the screen back on. Neither pressing the power button or the home button does anything, but I can still hear the phone call. Any ideas?

Now the screen won't even turn back on after the phone call has ended
Do you use a screen protector? Check if the protector doesn't covers the sensor. It is possible that the sensor doesn't react well when it's covered (I had a similar problem with the Dell Streak).
Also try to make a call with a wired headset or if you make a call and you can't turn on the screen plug the headset in.

Might be a little bit late, but maybe for others
worked pretty well on my Samsung S4.
download the app "proximity fix" from the playstore and run it.
Job done.
Hope that helps you or anyone who stumbles upon this!
I've had a look through the original manual and I've searched around for an answer to this but it doesn't seem to be a topic of discussion.
I'm looking to disable the screen that comes up after making a call, the one where it shows the person you just spoke to and gives options to call them back or message them etc. Is there any way of disabling this and just going right back to where you were previously?
The only reason for this is that when using the car in hands free mode with my car it causes a bit of an issue where it stalls after the end of the call.
When the call ends, it ends with my car but when the screen comes on the phone it initiates the call with my car again (My car thinks there is a call in progress). It's not until this screen goes away that my car turns off the hands free.
I know it's a little annoyance but I would really love to get rid of it.
Thanks
I tried googling but couldn't find any results.
I like the Silent Connected Phone feature because it prevent my phone from ringing when I am already wearing my watch. The problem is, when I got home, and I put my watch on the table or charger, then when I call come in, my phone will not ring as well, and both my watch and phone will just vibrate.
Is there a way for the watch to detect that its not on my hand (I noticed that sometimes the display goes blank), and then disable the silent mode on my phone?
Or is there an app or workaround that can do this?
Thanks in advance!
Wondering if this happens to anyone else. Sometimes when there is an incoming phone call the screen remains turned off and there is no way to see who's calling or to answer the call. The power button does nothing. Basically, all you can do is wait for the call to go to voice mail, then wait another 30-40 seconds after which the phone finally responds to the power button and turns on. This drives me crazy. What good is the damn phone if you can't answer important phone calls? Interestingly, this was my biggest complain about the stupid iPhone 6, where a lot of times I would be getting a call and the screen would be frozen. Are the phones only for web browsing and facebooking now? Making and receiving phone calls is a secondary feature and no one complains if it doesn't work?
Second issue. Every phone I've had going back many years has had a proximity sensor, where during a call the screen goes dark once you hold the phone to your ear and wakes up once you move it. The V10 does NOT do that. The screen never wakes up by itself, I always have to hit the power button. Is this a "feature" or a bug?
I am running Android 9 on a Galaxy Note 9. On several occasions while reading my text messages my phone will call the contact who's messaginges I was reading. This seems to happen mostly when I try to put my phone in my pocket after reading a text.
I am curious as to what could be causing this and if it can be turned off. I suspect it's some sort of gesture or accessibility feature I am accidentally activating, but it's getting quite annoying so whatever it is I want to turn it off. Any help identifying the source is appriciated.
