i just bought a used atrix off CL yesterday , im trying to get it unlocked so i can use tmobile.
already tried russian motofan forum for unlock code, no luck there.
i called ATT yesterday, the lady told me to use the att.com/deviceunlock form . ive put in the request, still saying its pending.
now i just bought the unlock from here, http://www.ebay.com/itm/320884234263?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 . still waiting for them to send it to me, i dont know if they can find it.
i was wondering which online vendor or service yall used to unlock carrier
thanks

Mine was unlocked by AT&T. Just a quick call to their customer support, answer a few questions, give the IMEI, wait a bit, and they gave me the code. They even wanted to give me instructions on how to use the code, but I was way ahead of them on that.

Oh yeah, well... Sometimes you have to wiggle your way out a little. Say you got the phone as a gift from a relative and you don't know their number. Or something like that. They might refuse to give you the code anyway, but it's worth a shot.

Call AT&T again, you will get a different rep and a different attitude every time. Chances are that one of them will just give you the code. I got lucky and my second call ended in success. :good:
I payed 99 cents for my unlock code on ebay. I got it in a few hours. Worked just fine....
i got the code from the ebay seller, $4 is not that big of deal , i just didnt wanna bid for this one
thanks for the input

Finally found a Company who can sim unlock our Note 3 so that it can be used on ATT tmobile or any other US Carrier!!!!
Just go on Facebook and search for Nocturnal Wireless... They are based out of Florida!

This is what their page say:
When getting your device serviced remotely, please make sure to have a decent computer, stable internet (do not tether off of your phone), and the same quality cable that came with the phone, that plugs your phone into your computer. Our service is 100% guaranteed, however, if the job is unable to be completed due to not meeting the minimum requirements, a refund will not be issued. Thank you
It sounds like the remote in to your PC and use it to unlock the phone. I'd be careful about who do i let to connect to my computer
The Sprint Note 3 is different.. You can't Sim Unlock this device with a code... I've used remote Services before with success and this company is not exception

Sprint has never ever ever been able to unlock any of their Android / Apple (not sure about BB) phones for domestic use. To be fair, the OP didn't specify, and I was assuming that's what they were referring to, because that is what many people are looking for. Even so, you still don't have any clue what YOU are talking about since the phone absolutely does not use an unlock code to unlock. Sprint sends a signal to the phone that performs the international unlock. So do some research before you try to act like you know what you're talking about. I know, because I've actually done it. I also have unlocked many of them manually and have done dozens of hours of research on how the process works. Rookie? Pssh. Hardly.

Reading is fundamental. I specifically was referring to a DOMESTIC unlock. This is a fair assumption, since the OP goes by steve and seems to be excited by the fact that the company is located in Florida. And I don't care who you talked to, they don't give you a code to input. I don't have to login to an account to know this, because like I've said, I've actually sat through the process. More than once. There can't be a pissing contest if you're playing a different game.

correct me if i am wrong, but PIN1/PUK1 unlock code is a password you enter (if enabled) on GSM phone if your SIM is PIN protected. you cannot make any calls if you SIM is locked with PIN and you do not have it. Every SIM has such lock capability (not enabled by default) and also has a PIN associated with it. Also I believe PUK code is needed to unlock SIM if too many invalid attempts have been made to unlock it with the wrong PIN.
Sprint will gladly give you that information, but it will not help you at all with neither domestic nor international calls.
Sprint firmware/modem is designed so it cannot be unlocked with code entered manually, but only OTA or via "hacks" allowing NVRAM changes.
We do this at our shop for some of the other companies around our location.
Of course we only do this for our most trusted friends and partners.
Remote access and having them on the line we can get this done within 10-15 minutes.
Watch the name calling and disrespect. One and only warning before infractions are handed out. You either Respond correctly or not at all.
Edfunkycold
Have a great day!
PIN1/PUK1 it's if you happen to lock your sim card on accident you would need the the two code to unlock the sim in order to be used again. Well that''s what i understood when i read it

Use this for international unlock:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...print-samsung-unlocker-unlock-sprint-t2928250
This for domestic:

To be on the MI3 modem, you need to be on NC5 or older firmware. Once you do the unlock, you can use MJ4 modem as well. If you don't understand what this means, then please do some more research on those threads.

Yes, and...? Why would you expect it to? It specifically states that it isn't even necessary to the process.
No you are wrong no code to Sim unlock this device and stop being a jack but.... No Need for it....
I have a Note 3 from Sprint running on AT&T, i got it SIM unlocked from a guy on eBay called idoneapps.
He unlocked it remotely with in 30 mins, very nice guy. No issues what so ever, didnt need to root, got HSPA+, calling, text and data. Just had to edit the APN settings.
What happened to the one poster that worked for TMO that was offering free sim unlocks?

Can someone find an unlock method for Spint S9+?
i will be willing to test on a device either s9 or s9+ sprint i can get to combination and enable the communication to the modem from *#0808# but the communication fails due to not having access tried to read MSL didn't work not supported for this model yet ive been trying to figure out how to communicate through the ril and send AT commands to the phone but haven't made any progress if someone can give any advice on how to proceed would be helpful. I doubt the actual programming method is gonna be released as i cant even find the method to unlock s6 sprint with commands but maybe some dev out there wants to share some information .
I would like to know if there's a way to unlock the Sprint s9+ as well
I've got a s9+ I'm wanting to unlock to use on any carrier! Anyone succeed in the process yet that wouldn't mind guiding me through it

But for sure let us know how it went like if you noticed he flashed eng_root or combination firmware any information will be useful.

Dang that sucks. i found another company they have for $200 https://www.imeigurus.com/s9-s9-plus-sprint-remote-usb-app-unlock
Also i learned why boxes have not come out with solution one of the team members at gcprokey said that sprint is using a RSA encrypted system and no one has solution yet.
So if anyone knows what there doing mabye you know what to look for.
J727P/J327P U3 use same encryption so mabye we can unlock same method with NV items but the problem is we cant get msl code with z3x.

I agree but it should actually be free but all the teams behind the boxes are focus on credit phones because that's were there making money at they don't want to put a lot of work in for a feature they don't make money on. That's why its up to us to figure out the solution
I'm trying to do a carrier unlock. I've been getting jerked around by their tech support who appears knows even less than I do. The device is fully paid off, the model is unlockable, I've got a stable version of android 13. Their tech support keeps transferring me or I get mysteriously disconnected. Even had a woman tell me I needed to remove my line from the phone account to make it free. I asked for clarification and she then said I basically need to remove the phone and line and service from the account first.
Please can anyone take pity on this noob? I'd really appreciate it.
