I am actually running HKTW 2.3.4 release. How can I go back to 4.1.5.7 build? I want to use the OC kernel from faux123. Can I just flash the 4.1.2.6 SBF and then update to 4.1.5.7 without loosing the unlocked bootloader? When I was using 4.1.5.7 I created a backup image with the old CWM. Can I just restore it with the new CWM for unlocked bootloader?
Sbf back

I am currently running gladatrix mod on 1.57 and have the download zip for the new 1.83 version. I know to use the cwm to update but what path do I take? Can I update over current setup or do I have to revert back to older version. Im 1.57 rooted with gladatrix.

SO if I flash the leaked 2.3.4 on top of my OTA 2.3.4 with RSD it wont brick? I'm guessing itll just reinstall?
Edit: All I want to know is if I can flash the leaked version on top of the OTA withou bricking so this way I can unlock the BL and get some ROMS....I just dont want to end up using RSD to flash 2.3.4 and end up with a paper weight

to directly answer your question, if you did a full restore (system, data and kernel) of android 2.3.3, you'd have a new radio loaded (from OTA) with older system software and kernel (from full restore). not sure that is the most ideal setup, but it is possible.
not sure why you would want to go from 2.3.4 (OTA) back to 2.3.3? partly defeats moving to 2.3.4.
for starters, you'll want to restore the custom recovery, as the OTA will have overwrote that as well as removing the setuid permission on the su binary in /system/bin/su.
to restore the custom recovery, if you haven't already done, you should be able to flash it thru rom manager, as you're still s-off. also can flash it thru the bootloader using the .zip or using my flashimagegui app.
not sure what exactly your goal is or why you're wanting to move back to 2.3.3 after doing the 2.3.4 OTA. hope the information provided helps!

Nothings going to happen.I have all the new updates except hboot.I built a 2.3.4 ROM its quick.but ya know what no over clock yet.so I went back to my 2.3.3 backup of my V6 ROM over clocked to 1.7ghz. I have no issues at all.
I'll go back to 2.3.4 when a oc kernel comes available.

I just got the ota update notification. I'm running stock, rooted, with faux kernel.. If I update, will I get unrooted and lose kernel?

Yup. You have to have the stock recovery to install though.

The phone won't let you install the update until you go back to stock everything (stock ROM, stock apps, stock recovery, stock kernel), so you don't have to worry about accidentally installing the OTA.
Also, once the OTA is installed you can still re-root the phone and install Faux's kernel, so don't worry about that. If you want to bypass all of the entirely, create a nandroid of your current ROM, install Xboarder's pre-rooted ROM and restore your data partition in CWM.
Recently i returned to stock OS, 2.3.4 and then i downloaded the official 2.3.6 update from Motorola official update page and installed the update via CWM recovery. And my device is relocked and successfully booted into 2.3.6 stock gingerbread. But i cant find any visible difference in the OS. Not even a slight change in the status bar. But the app versions and system version has been changed to 2.3.6. Hmm well is this same for everyone? Or i did anything wrong?

When you unlock the bootloader there is a fuse in hardware which blows out. So there is no way of relocking. When you updated it just removed the unlocked text from the boot screen. When you used the sbf method it just brought back the unlocked text.
