Hi everybody,
Wondering if anyone know how can I make Picasa Integration on my Atrix?
I was badly surprised not to see that out of the box. Not what you expect to see from Motorola.
Thanks

If you set up a picasa account you will be able to upload to a picasa album (menu --> settings --> accounts --> add account).
You can also google "nexus one gallery apk" and you should be able to easily find the apk for this app. You will need to either root your phone or use sideload wonder machine to install. Once installed it will show all of your albums in picasa.
I just found the answer to this. Look on the Market for an app called (not surprisingly) "Gallery" with the normal Froyo Gallery icon.
As soon as you install it it will ask to use your Picasa credentials to connect to Picasa and voila - you now have local and Picasa pictures in your 3D Gallery just like native Froyo.
Hope this helps.
Thanks, upload action worked but still no Picasa integration in photo gallery.
Wrote a complain to Motorola still waiting for respond.
Thanks

Yeah, but this one is definitely better......
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cooliris.media&feature=search_result
uses the Cooliris skin that the Captivate had and works great to display Picasa galleries - just looked this up earlier because I wondered where my Picasa folders went on the gallery EVEN THOUGH the stupid Moto Blur account listings has my Picasa account sync'd! FOR WHAT if you're not going to display the folders in the gallery???
So I've tried uploading several 3D pictures directly from my phone to Picasa and Flickr without any luck. Flickr tells me it has to convert the 3D pictures to 2D and when I upload to Picasa it always fails and says service error (though it does give me the option to upload it in 3D).
So how do you guys share your 3D pictures online? Can it be done directly from the 3vo?
Thanks in advance
I wonder the same thing without having to convert.

Wondering the same thing, so I upload to Picasa, and I see the file being uploaded /via My Uploads (pretty large file, can watch the progress.) so the 1.7mb'ish gets 100% then "failed, service error."
What gives? Tried using a different album, different pictures, on wifi, off-of wifi, nothing, same issue.
Anyone sharing 3d photos, if so How?
Dropbox works, as far as I know you can't do it on picasa or flickr.

You are putting them in a public folder and sharing that url?
I also found that you can use gmail to share the images, The receiver can download it and view (similar to dropbox I guess) using gmail.com (the gmail app just provides a preview, not the entire file.)
Any other ways?
3d Video is so easy to share, upload to youtube and done. Why not pics? lol

Yep, public folder and share the url.....i haven't really tried to many other options since I mainly use dropbox.
Is there a flickr app for Android anywhere that will do several pictures at once quickly? I've tried Flickr Companion, the stock HTC uploader and both just freeze at various points. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
I am coming from the Evo 3D and use an Windows Live account for email, contacts and calendar. When I add the Live account to the Amaze I can only get plan text email but on the Evo 3D I got HTML. The account is added as an exchange account and there is an option in "send and receive" to chose message format but it is greyed out on the Amaze.
Anyone know a solution to this? I don't get why the evo 3d has the html option but on the amaze they greyed it out.
Have you tried a custom rom ?
This really has nothing to do with custom roms. I'm not interested in them either. I just don't get why the option to chose mail format is greyed out but is selectable on the evil 3d.
Hi all,
i've looked around for this app but all i found was few up-loaders & viewers for Flikr. What i basically want is setup a sync between my Flickr account & phone gallery &then after a press of button both sides are synced. I can do it now but manually via the official Flickr app but it's too time consuming (not the upload part, the manual photo selection part).
Pls suggest me app for above, any suggestions are appreciated! :good:
I suppose there is no such app?
sorry to be lazy ... but i havent checked lately, is there such app available now?
