I've found myself doing more work with Word and PowerPoint on my San Francisco and really need to get my Igo Stowaway Keyboard going again.
Has anyone found a way to get it working? I tried BlueKeyboard and that didn't work any ideas?
Many Thanks

Which external (infrared or bluetooth) keyboard is compatible with MDAIII? What would you recommend?
Install the new Unofficial patch by Broadcom (Available at this site...). It will add HID support for Bluetooth keyboards. After you do that, you can use the ThinkOutside Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard and it'll pair and work like a charm! Gotta love it.

I just picked up a ThinkOutside Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard.
After a few attempts at getting it setup, it now works great.
It's nice to be able to use the keyboard with the SX66 in portrait or landscape modes. I've seen it online for about $90.00
Has anyone managed to get the HP iPAQ bluetooth folding keyboard to work with the XdaIIs? It's a great keyboard and the software loads fine, the Xda IIs bluetooth sees the keyboard but when you hit connect it just times out and fails to connect.
It's very frustrating and I'd hate to have to return it.
Any help greatly appreciated

yeah i have one of those keyboards too....ipaq foldable bluetooth keyboard.... and i'm trying it on qtek s110...doesnt work ///
any drivers ? ideeas ?
please
please does anyone has any ideeas ??
Have a look on the HP site. Look on the keyboard and see if it says anything about the maker of they keyboard. If it does look on the manufactures site. I have a 02 I/R keyboard and it is made by stowaway.
It is made by Darfon. I have not been able to use it with MS bluetooth drivers. I'm a Wizard user, so I'm not familiar with the drivers on the BA.
It says on the website that the keyboard is compatible with 2003SE and WM5 so it could be a case that the blue tooth in the keyboard is faulty. Have a look here http://www.darfon.com.tw/2005_HTM/HID/HID_Portable.htm it shows all the keyboards and it shows the versions of blue tooth that it is compatible with. I am not sure what version of blue tooth the IIs has but if it is not the right version that could be why it doesn't work properly.
Unpacked today. It works.

baniaczek, which file driver did you use to get the ipaq keyboard work?
Hello,
Is somebody using the Stowaway ThinkOutside bluetooth keyboard with Topaz?
I have some problem for some characters and I don't see anything to setup the right configuration.
Thanks in advance!
You need to install the driver.
ALexander
working fine so far
i just paired the keyboard and i see no problems so far. what characters are you having problems with?
cheers
I downloaded the driver from http://corporate.igo.com/support/Drivers.asp and it works now.
The problem was, among others, for the "-" character. But my Stowaway kb is a French one with AZERTY (Not QWERTY) keyboard and my Topaz is in French too...
Thank you all; as long as the keyboard was detected correctly, I didn't think that a driver was required indeed.
and what device manufacturer and model did you choose
salut a +
I choosed this one:

Im trying to find a small bluetooth keyboard that will work on the flyer/view but its hard to tell what works what doesn't .
If you have one that works with this tablet can you please post
What keyboard it is, and a link if possible
What Rom is on your tablet
If you needed any special apps to get it to work.
Thanks
any bluetooth keyboard should work fine. I have a motorola and a stow-away and both work well. no apps required. no special ROM
Oh, I was under the impression people had trouble getting them to pair and function with it.
I have never had any problem on either GB or HC with keyboards.
Headsets don't work on either, Headphones do, but headsets won't the mic won't work
My stowaway mouse works on my view w/GB. But the View doesn't recognize the keyboard special function keys needed to input the numbers code.
Hi everyone!
I've been searching everywhere. I bought a MHL adapter and bt keyboard and mouse... paired everything perfectly with TV/GS3.
what annoys me is that the f**** virtual keyboard always pops up once i try to write something in a text field..taking up half of the screen space..
I'm running 4.1.2 premium suite upgrade
Is there someway to fix this?
Thanks in advance
cheers
