Hi everyone!
I've been searching everywhere. I bought a MHL adapter and bt keyboard and mouse... paired everything perfectly with TV/GS3.
what annoys me is that the f**** virtual keyboard always pops up once i try to write something in a text field..taking up half of the screen space..
I'm running 4.1.2 premium suite upgrade
Is there someway to fix this?
Thanks in advance
cheers

Unfortunelly for now it's pretty impossible.
Androis has not enough bluetooth API support to get it works with keyboard. Somewhere on forum/network you can find how to - but they are for G1.
However if i don't know about something and it's possible let me know, im buying keyboard on ebay right now!
USB keyboard?
Okay, BT kb is not available due to missing API. Is there any way to use mini USB keyboard like GizFever? It could be nice sometimes use this small kb. Onscreen kb is fine, but for some jobs / sometimes this could be fine solution for me (hide onscreen during typing on USB kb)...
I'm a bit disappointed that it's not capable at this point, but hope it can be added in the future with little hassle. I still have a Nokia bluetooth keyboard I would like to use, & at times I find myself struggling with the onscreen keyboard.
Hi all,
I am a new user of Archos 101 here, today I just realized that whenever I connect an external keyboard to my Archos, the on screen keyboard is not displayed anymore. How do I make it is displayed again? Meaning I want to have both method of input at the same time, the external keyboard and on screen keyboard.
Yes, I know most people will prefer to disable the onscreen keyboard while the external keyboard is connected But this time, I need both..
Anyone know any solution for this?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot
Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has had any success connecting/using the Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro Bluetooth Keyboard?
If so how was it connected?
I plan on using this keyboard/mouse combo. for use with the Webtop-Atrix hack from the comfort of my couch!
I found a refurbished model i've had my eyes on for some time and been wanting to buy...

Any suggestions/idea is welcomed!
Thanks!
Success it works!
The keyboard and mouse functionality works with no flaws!
I am currently writing this through webtop on my tv!
Instructions:
Insert code onto Atrix. (i.e "0000")
Quickly input the code on the keyboard and press enter.
Badda bing badda boom!
I have a aluminium apple bluetooth keyboard. When I connect it to my tablet I put in the passcode to pair it and then check the box to use it as an input device, but when I go to type anywhere it doesn't do anything and the touchscreen keyboard comes up. I have tried the tablet with a wired keyboard, which works fine.
Thats odd. Ive paired mine as you and when i press any key the internal keyboard goes off. Are you sure you have set it up as the default keyboard?
How do I do this? In language and input I can only choose standard keyboard as the default.
YOU must type the correct Numbercode and hit the Enter Button on the Keyboard. This works i hope

I have an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and want to use it with my Xperia Tablet S 32gb,
I input the 4 digit code and it pairs, but it doesn't input anything. Strangely, it works on my Xperia S mobile phone!
I posted here about it! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908522
If you have any ideas, please can you post for me?

Hey there, I do believe this comes down to incompatibilities with the version of bluetooth supported. Eg my my bluetooth mouse works on my laptop and galaxy s 2, but not my tablet s. My bluetooth key board which I know to be bluetooth 2.0 works fine on all. No idea what the mouse is, it was just a cheapo one with limited specs available. Wroks great on compatible devices though
Hi DreadPirateDan!
thanks for your reply,

I understand a bit about Bluetooth Human Interface Device Profile (HID) and wonder if some genius has worked out a way to get these to work together..
But guess I will have to give up! I have the case with keyboard for the Xperia Tablet S but the viewing angle is not good for me. Maybe I will find a cheap Bluetooth keyboard.
The Sony one - http://www.sony.co.uk/product/other-sony-tablet-accessories/sgp-wkb1 is a bit too pricey!

The Tablet S doesn't support Apple Bluetooth keyboard is because the kernel excluded module hid-apple. You can root your tablet to support it.

Thanks WonderEkin!

I not sure whether to root yet. Only experience is with my Samsung 7" tablet, and that must be 2 years ago now...
Then I am not sure how to add the correct Bluetooth profile!
Lots of reading and research to do!

Anyone else having issues trying to connect their Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse at the time same? Seems like I never had the problem before the 4.4.2 update which kinda sucks. Think KitKat might have broken multiple bluetooth at the same time connectivity...
On the ATT 4.4.2 Galaxy Mega.
I'm interested in using a bluetooth mouse on my galaxy mega, but i can't find it on phisical stores... just online!
The bluetooth mouse is great just can't use the keyboard at the same time. Guess I should can get a keyboard that has a built in track pad.
oh, i didn't know i can't use 2 bluetooth devices at the same time... at this point, as you said, a solution could be a keyboard with built-in trackpad. thanks!
Well it's a bit buggy because I can use my Pebble smart watch and mouse fine just having issues with the mouse and keyboard
