Do you know how to get the Sony Ericsson Arc Photowidget to work?
I've tried already to install it the normal but it didn't work. Then I tried to make it a System App via titanium Backup but it didn't work, too. I'm on Cyanogenmod 7.

Search for the Sony Xperia Arc launcher and then try using the widget. Thw widget will work only with that launcher!

yeah me too..even push it into system/app,set perm..it cant installed..
try to uninstalling stock launcher it say "Application Installed" but its always back to stock launcher
or try this..home 2.1.0.A 7 Mod..(instaled in cwm) maybe this wprk

Get ADW launcher? Probably the least ram/battery heavy launcher on the market, would be perfect for your need

I think i know why it won't install may be its because of the default widgets that are with the original launcher like photo and video, weather etc.

Hi, everyone
I use miniCM7 on my xperia (with nAa kernel) but I never like ADW Launcher. Go Launcher etc. Some times I try install a few ROM-s with Oryginal SE Xperia Launcher but no one ROM-s works with my kernel.
So I have a very big request, Who can create a SE launcher working on miniCM7 2.2.0 or what must be copied to miniCM7 with ROM (like Achojtan Semc Debrand engine) to I had 100% working SE launcher without bootloop and force closed application.
Please for fast anserws

PS: The QWGA is the one who not have corners like the stock 2.1 one . Other versions its for biger screens.

You should try this launcher.its realy good and easy to install.and it works on your rom too. If u use it dont forget to thank the boy who made it (second link). Hopee I helped

maybe, but i dont think its hard to fix!
when i use play livewallpaper i have same problem.
i think if the launcher have a problem with live background it will load a fix wallpaper
at least can some one try it!

I have tried in my Xperia P, but i cant install him, maybe the problem is resolution? If your Xperia have unlocked bootloader maybe isnt possible MAYBE

Step1:
Download, extract to 4 files + Xperia Play app!
Step2:
Use a root file manager(recommend ES Filemanager).
Put playstationcertified.jar and xperiaplaycertified.jar to system/framework,
and the files com.sony.android.playstationcertified and com.sonyericsson.android.xperiaplaycertified to system/etc/permissions.
And Xperia_Play_Launcher.apk to system/app
Fix permissions rw-r-r for all 5files above when you put them in their locations!
Step3:
Now reboot and ENJOY!
If the app doesnt show up or work...
Boot into CWM and fix permissions then wipe dalvik cache!
Still doesnt work? Wipe the Xperia Play app data!
Myths:
It can improve performance of ROM and free RAM a little, that's beacuse of some comends/scripts.

Yes you can install the ported one by Rizal Lovins. Search on android apps section. But fb stuff n sound enhancement didn't work. Using DSP instead.

i dont think its possible coz they are from different bases!
This won't work on cm10, but if you want to try it extract the stock rom our search for a stock based rom and take the apks from there. Try to install them but I thinkit won't work
